Best place in Aspen to fill yourself up during or after a day of skiing. Best prices you’re gonna find in the whole town

It’s still nice to know there is a family felt type of shop in Aspen. I ordered the Babs-e-que wrap with chicken which blew my mind. It was the perfect mix of quantity and quality especially with the Chipotle dressing giving it that nice little kick to compliment the mash. The service was wonderful as we were met with a smile and bright eyes. If you’re starving, you’re in luck, not only is the food great but it’s made so fast. It’s vegan friendly, cash only, and… Well… Awesome. So next time your out hitting the slopes and ready to settle you’re appetite, skip the line at the overpriced bistro and make your way over and«wrap» it up.

Best place in the world. Best burritos ever. There’s no way anyone in their right mind would give anything less than 5 stars

**Cash only Cash Only Cash Only* Call for hours on off season This is a very nice and wonderful place, service is also nice and friendly, they sell a wide variety of wrap and salads. We got the Pesto wrap and I was going to get the Chinese Wrap but I decided last minute to get the Chinese Salad and it was really really good. They had said the Pesto wrap is very popular but we didnt like it too much, it was boring and just tasted like Chipotle. not my thing. Anyway im glad i opted for the Chinese Salad last minute because it was greattt and a good portion. This is a good place for lunch and snacking. Definitely recommend. Its for the average joe. because restaurants in Aspen can be very expensive… i just want a casual place to eat where i feel comfortable.

Pretty good over all. I’m actually not a huge fan of wraps so I don’t eat here much, but I’m constantly in here to pic up food for the local families I work for here in aspen. They do not take cash so that isn’t a plus, but if you go here enough to make it worth it, you can set up a pay account and charge your meals that way. Also, they get VERY busy, and parking is very difficult to find. However, you call your order in, charge it to your account, and drive with a friend you can just run in and pic up your food without waiting in line. As for the food itself, its pretty basically a way better version of chipolte. so if that’s your thing than you’ll def not be disappointed. Like I said before, I’m generally here to pic-up orders for the kids I nanny for, and all of them order the chopsticks wrap; so that seems to be the favorite off of the kids menu. This might be a good option for a quick bite in the winter while up on the mountain too. Just don’t expect to sit inside, there are only a few(aprox 6) seats around the perimeter of the front of the store. So carry out is really your only option. Oh, the people here are very nice. You’ll likely will enjoy your service when you come in too.

We went to the Big Wrap for lunch one day while we were in Aspen. It was perfect out and we took our wraps the size of bricks out on the walking mall and had a great lunch. The speed and service here were great… there was a big rush and yet things really moved quickly. The prices of the food were great and there was a wide variety of wraps to enjoy including vegetarian options. I opted for the Mexican wrap which was good but slightly lacking in flavor. I chose honey citrus chicken to go in the wrap but it sort of just tasted like chicken without any real flavor. Overall the wrap was fine and I ate most of it, so I’m really just nit picking. I did wish I had some hot sauce or something to kick up the flavor, but that’s about it. We’d definitely be back for another quick lunch next time we’re in Aspen.

Decent flavorful food. I had a vegetable medley with rice and mild and hot sauce which was pretty good. Good place if you like the chipotle style food and want something quick and inexpensive to go.

The Big Wrap is one of the few places in Aspen where the people who live here can afford to eat at. At lunch time, this place gets a long line out the door, and it moves very slowly. There are plenty of unique options to choose from, but I choose to follow Unilocal and go with the Pesto Wrapture. It was around $ 7.50 pre-tax. Honestly, the Big Wrap is pretty much just a Chipotle but locally owned. Everything kind of tastes the same, and the quality is about the same. Only complaint was that the pesto was unevenly spread and very overwhelming in places. However, the quality of the ingredients were good. Not the first place I go for lunch, and as they close at 6, not a place to ever go for dinner. However, a fine choice if the line is short and you have cash on you.

In a town where just about everything is overpriced, The Big Wrap keeps its prices small and its wraps big. I went there at lunchtime on a Tuesday in the summer and the line was out the door and up the stairs; I can only imagine the crowds at lunch on a weekend during ski season. Their menu has enough to please every palette. I had their Thai wrap and it was quite tasty and huge. Half the wrap would have made a meal and all for under $ 10 — unheard of in Aspen! While the wrap wasn’t the best I ever had, it was good and for the price, it was excellent! No wonder the lines are out the door. While I didn’t eat at every restaurant in town, I did hit quite a few and this is one of only two restaurants where I actually thought the food was not a rip off. Btw, I noticed that people were picking up to-go orders at the register so you might be able to call in and avoid the line.

This tiny, cash only, wrap, salad, taco, and smoothie shop is the best food value in Aspen. By tiny, I mean there are 8 barstools for indoor seating. By value, I mean Chipotle like prices in a town where even lunch is $ 15 — $ 25 per person. But value is not the real story here, flavor is. Each of the wraps are distinct, interesting, and well done. Braised tofu and roasted vegetables are first class core options so vegetarians can feel like first class customers. Seems every time I walk by the Big Wrap, there is a line, but it moves fast. If you want some tasty food, now, and think eating lunch on a shady bench with a friend is better than inside trying to talk over TV, you will love this place.

All I can say is the woman at the counter was extremely rude and short. She visibly got mad when my girlfriend asked her what other types of sauces they have and made some snide comment about«well that’s the sauce that goes on it so…» I guess this is acceptable in Aspen? Lame.

This is a lunch review. Veggie sandwich w side salad on panini. It comes on 6 grain bread. Pretty quaint little basement spot, as in 4×8 space. It’s not about good seating. It’s about the good tasting sandwiches. That’s what The Big Wrap is great for. So glad we peeked in. They are underneath in the back corner.

I did not try the wrap here I tried the tacos. And to be honest it lacked a lot of flavour. I got two carnita tacos with everything on it and now I kind of I asked for hot sauce on the size or something. The food was bland but I can tell it was at least for the most part fresh… maybe their wraps are different. Some local Aspen kids came barging in half way through my order screaming for a «chopstick wrap». So maybe I jsut chose to eat the wrong thing.

Came here to grab breakfast. All their wraps are about $ 7.50 each. You can build your own wrap or chose from their list. I got their Thai wrap and was not impressed :( It was soggy, rice was clumpy and tasted bland. No matter how much I added hot sauce it didn’t taste good. Thai sauce was dripping and made it difficult to eat the wrap. Parking is on the street. They do not take card and CASH or check only. They do have an ATM inside and charge you about $ 2 per transaction. Limited bar seats inside the shop and plenty of outdoor bench seats.

I was lucky enough to be able to go to The Big Wrap with my sister and was able to have my wrap halvsies thus allowing for a two tastes for one deal. We tried the Chow Baby and the Pesto Wrapture. I wasn’t impressed with the Chow Baby, with pickled baby corn and really lacking that kick I expected(should’ve gone for the Swift Kick!). I’d go back for the Pesto Wrapture, it had all the flavors I expected with a spicy note. I chose to get my black beans on the side as well and don’t think it detracted from the wrap(they’re a little void of flavor). Expect a line to the door even in off season and the true Aspen attitude. Also, it’s $.80 for a side of hot sauce so make sure you order it extra spicy if desired. It’s cash or check only and unless you’re a big hungry go for wrap or smoothie, both is a bit of a rough combination according to a friend we were sitting with. They also have quite the variety of fancy sodas, if you’re feeling classy try the grapefruit Sanpellegrino, it’s delicious and adds a true compliment to the Pesto Wrapture!

In a city where you are spending a fortune on every meal, it’s a breath of fresh air to find a place like the big wrap. Great prices for a lot of good! The wraps are about 7.50 but can really feed two people! I had the to Thai for wrap. So good! Even better with Siracha sauce :) my husband had the Hail Caesar and ate the entire thing. Highly recommend! Just remember, cash or check only!

If you give this place less than 5 stars, maybe you need to go hug a puppy. Or if you’re allergic, a tree. Or why not both! It took a bit of navigation to find The Wrap(google maps fails me sometimes). And I didn’t want to be THAT girl, tourist with a map, scratching my head, asking for directions. But, eureka! We had found it. I asked the guy behind the counter who might come off as a bit intimidating which he recommended — the Thai or the Babs-es-que. He said, «Oh man, those are both my favorite!» Being that I have a small(small) obsession with mashed potatoes, I got the Babs. I chose it with steak. OHHHHHELLOFLAVOR! TASTEBUDSSOHAPPYTHEYDOADANCE! The only reason why I HATE this place is because it’s not in NY. Sad face. Cash only, and the wraps are about $ 7 a pop. Wash it down with a clementine Izze and you got yourself an amazing little lunch.

Only affordable, quality, lunch place in town. Cash only is a pain, but whatever.
