Wouldn’t normally write a review for a chain but I thought I should share my ice cream cake ordering experience. I actually hit up the Baskin Robbins on 30th Ave first to order a custom cake but they told me to come back the next day at 2(on a Tuesday) so the manager could take my order. As a 9−5r I definitely wasn’t going to be around in the early afternoon on any day of the week so I knew I’d have to try another store. I headed to Steinway and was greeted by a sweet older gentlemen who took my order. I showed him a picture of an emoji I wanted on the cake, he said he could do it. Woohoo! He had me email/text the photo to him and a few days later I came and picked up my awesome cake. It was what I wanted and tasted delicious. Nothing better than an ice cream cake! I ordered white cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream. Side note: I have a nut allergy and when I told them about it they were very understanding and made sure the cake was nut free. Big relief for me :)

I’m not really a huge frozen yogurt person — only from like 16 Handles, Tasti-D-Lite(THEYHAVE A S’MOREFLAVOR!!) or Vanilla Café in Astoria — but actual ice cream?! SIGNMEUP! Baskin Robbins is not Haagen Dazs or Ben & Jerry’s — but they’ve still got some awesome flavors like industry standards: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Cookies N’ Cream, Rocky Road, Chocolate Mint, Strawberry and some more fun ones like Snicker’s Chunks, Caramel/Toffee Swirl — etc. I unfortunately have not had the pleasure of getting ice cream yet at this particular location — but I did come here last Tuesday for an iced coffee which was actually really freakin’ fantastic and possessed a distinct vanilla/chocolate cookie flavor although I didn’t ask for a flavored iced coffee. It was really refreshing and I would definitely hop into any Baskin Robins now for iced coffee — who would’ve thought right?! The woman who made and rang up my coffee was also really sweet and gave me a sample(plastic shot glass really, lol) of their chocolate milkshake — I’m more of a vanilla cookie dough or cookies n’ cream kinda gal, but it was delicious and with a good thickness and consistency. Too thick milkshakes DONOT bring this girl to the yard. I’ll be back Baskin Robbins, I’ll be back*. ________________________________________________________ *NOT said like Terminator, I swear :).

I have been coming to this location for years, honestly as long as I can remember. I’ve ALMOST always gotten my parents and sister birthday cakes from this specific location because not only is their service good and convenient but their cakes are amazing. They always get them done exactly how I want them and it’s never a problem. Lately, I have been getting(my favorite) 2 scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream. No one does it better, I just can’t compare. I will most likely be surprising my boyfriend with a cake from here for his birthday in April. Can’t wait.

Me and my little one have visited this spot for an ice cold one, cone that is, for many years. They are always impeccably clean, Julia Childs would have eaten off their floors, especially after a glass of wine. The same young lady has worked here for years and always has a smile. Their selection of flavors, mocha chocolate, cherries jubilee(real cherries) and a good pistacchio with various other flavors, always leaves you with new choices to make. They have soft serve, yogo, sundaes and a good twenty toppings to boot. Baskin Robbins is open all year round, I still stop in for ice cream in the winter. They have a few tables and if you’re fortunate enough to get one, you’ll enjoy sitting in a well kept ice creamery. They even have a «fireplace» by the back table that blows warm air. Oooo like aaaahhh… Visit and leave a tip, she really deserves it! Check out their ice cream cakes made right on the premises!

I saw one of the male ice cream servers drop an ice cream scoop in the floor. He picked it up and then looked around to see if anyone noticed. When he decided that no one saw him he then put it in the tray of scoops to be used for serving ice cream. YUK!!!

After hearing that 1 scoop for $.31 cent day, I remind myself to go here on that day to check it out if it is real or not. There were a Baskin Robbins down the street so I walked by after work and saw the sign up myself but it didn’t start until 5pm. i want home to eat and then walked back at 4:45 just in case there is a hugh line. I was extremely happy when there were no lines so we waited until 5 o’clock and order myself 3 scoop(snicker, cookie & cream, almond pastichio) which only cost me $ 93 cent). ii was so happy that I want home and told everyone i know back in California but i guess there were long lines back home and it wasn’t worth waiting for it. I was a happy camper after I was finish and debating if i should try and come back at home LOL Yes I am a pig lol

It’s Ice Cream time at my house(AKA Saturday at 4:30pm) I want to bask in Ice Cream, so we head into Baskin Robbins. Baskin Robbins has more flavors of ice cream then Lindsay Lohan has arrest warrants, and that’s a lot! They have regular flavors, flavors with cookies in them, flavors with fruit in them, flavors with other flavors in them, and even low fat/no sugar flavors if you feel like it(who feels like that!?) and tons of toppings too. Sundaes, shakes, cakes, cups, waffle cones, and pretty much anything you want to put that ice cream into is available. The staff here is always friendly and pretty eager to fill you up on free sample tastings, which I don’t have a problem with. And the price is always good: and that’s all good! Yum…Ice Cream Time!
