Stopped in on a road trip. Place was empty so normally that would put me off but after realizing it was almost like chipotle and seeing half the people in the subway area also eating burritos, I felt more confident. Affordable build your own burrito. Mine came out a little dry but that was probably my fault. Friendly service too!

I wish we had one of these close to home. I had the bare burrito and it was great. I could eat low carb but still feel like I hate a meal. At home we go to Chipotle and without the rice and beans there they give you such small amount of everything else I am still hungry. At Beach Burrito I had the small bare burrito and was stuffed.

I enjoy Beach Burrito when I am traveling through Astoria on my way to or from recreational property we own on the Long Beach peninsula. As the previous reviewer noted, it is similar to a Subway, but burrito style. It is even connect to a Subway indoors in the same location, as noted before too. They have a nice selection of tortilla varieties, as well as beans, etc. While not the absolute best burritos I have ever eaten, they are good and about a Subway equivalent burrito style and quality(as opposed to a Quiznos equivalent, you get the idea). If traveling through Astoria, stop by and give them a try.

My husband and I love coming here whenever we find ourselves in Astoria. Its style is that of a Chipotle, Taco Del Mar, or a burrito version of a Subway or Quiznos even. Its the type of place that makes the food in front of you. It is actually connected or is inside of a Subway restauarant itself. My husband always gets the burrito, and I the nachos. I really like this place because you get far more than what you actually pay. The prices are great here! I would have to say though, that after our last visit, I took extra observation of the food that sat in front of me, because I had writing a review for this place in mind. I noticed on this visit that the nacho cheese(lord knows I love the cheese) is sub-par to say the least I think. It has a cheap glistening sheen to it that screams cheaper version(low quality) of the real stuff. Taco Bells nacho cheese is far better than this place. The ground meat, is somewhat questionable; but then again, don’t we question all meat at restauarants? And the chips they have for their nachos, I believe I have seen in a bag at the dollar tree. Nothing special about them. I don’t know about other mexican food lovers, but there is something about a home made chip that screams love and care. I enjoy knowing that they were made on site, rather than thrown underneath a food cooker for warmth, to trick the customer into thinking they are something special and spectacular. They really aren’t. This place is great if you want to get your gut filled, and not eat for a while after that. If the people at Beach Burrito is reading this, a couple words of advice: Change your nacho sauce in for the real deal, instead of its uncle fester version; we aren’t studip. We can tell the difference. Make your ground beef look like it came from a cow instead of the insides of a dogs colon. Oh, and add more artificial avocado flavor to your ‘guacamole’ sauce, so that we aren’t reminded every time we take a bite that its not actually made from avocados. Thank you very much. Other than that, keep up the good work!
