This place is great! We use it every week.
It gets a little crowded around 5pm and on weekends in the afternoon, so watch out for that. Also, the company runs drop-off all day, and sometimes they use more machines then is convenient for the rush hour. Still, there’s always at least two machines open when I need them.
For one load to wash and dry, I usually spend around 5 bucks. If it’s a really big load, maybe $ 8.
The people that work there are friendly and helpful. They also stay out of the way even though they are also running loads.
It’s a little cramped in there, but that’s New York for you.
The most important thing to me though, is that it’s a clean place with clean machines in a safe area with decent prices.

This is a nice, clean laundromat with decent prices. It is crowded with employees working on drop-off business. They advertise free wifi, but they do not actually let you use it because everyone, including the manager, claims they do not know the password. Hmmmm. I use this place every week because it is convenient.

This review is purely for self-service. I have come here three times and I can tell you that this third time is the last.
They have newly renovated and, quite frankly, you would never know it. The machines are constantly being used by the girls who work there for drop off service leaving NO empty machines for anyone who wants to do their own. Furthermore, they are very rude and very unhelpful.
There is always detergent and such left over from the previous person used the machine and they never clean thme out. When I asked them to clean out some left over fabric softener they looked at me like I was crazy.
There machines are very small and very expensive and are not able to pick up dry detergent in the compartment. I was looking forward to Jiffy Jeff’s reopening because it would be very convenient but it seems as though I will have to find somewhere else.
PS Who is in charge there? The only people I ever see there are the teenage girls who monolopoize the machines.

I’ve just started using Jiffy Jeff’s and all is good so far. They are definitely customer service oriented (very refreshing) and love that they pick up and deliver right from my door.

This place lost half of my wardrobe and refused to do anything about it. I live right around the corner and used them every week with nothing to complain about. When I picked up my laundry, I commented the bag felt extra light, and was told «that happens when they get washed». Okay, after a few Sunday brunch drinks I figured maybe it was just in my head. When I went in to tell them that literally half of my clothes were missing, I was given the name of the manager, who I have repeatedly called and received no call backs. All I want is for them to recognize their mistake and do something to correct it. Free service for a while, some sort of reimbursement, anything. If this happened I would be happy to continue as their customer. Id rather not take it to small claims court, but that was probably $ 450 worth of clothes, which I cant afford to replace. Come on Jiffy Jeffs, do the right thing.

The customer service here is great. However, the dryers are not. I waited a long time for a dryer because one customer decided to throw all of her clothes in several dryers, hogging most of them up. When one was finally available, it took over an hour to dry my clothes. It never takes that long for me as I have fairly delicate materials. Other people complained that they felt no heat coming from the dryers as well. I got frustrated waiting so I took my damp clothes out of the dryer and went home. I ended up laying my clothes on my bed to dry for the next day or two because I couldn’t take it anymore!

Jiffy Jeff’s appears to have survived their transition in staff, and come back strong. Still the best place to do your cleaning on the avenue, and now with an increasingly friendly staff. Recent updates to the dryers and a continued commitment to cleanliness make for a good experience.

This is a great laundry with free pick-up and delivery or if you choose to stay there is a very nice shaded backyard and with free wifi and a freindly
staff, what more can you ask for

People that work there are very friendly and everything comes back clean and neat.
Best part: the way they fold my underware into this tight little ball — makes packing a pleasure
