Our waitress was a riot! Lol so fun and helpful with order suggestions. The food was yummy buuuuuut I got home fries and I specifically remember her saying it had peppers and onion in it but it had nothing it was just potatoes cut in a weird way with no seasoning. My friend used salt and pepper and ketchup. I didn’t mind mine the plain way but I was expecting them to have some umph to it.
I got the California omlet which was great, I think I’d go with mozzarella or American cheese over the cheddar like she suggested how it normally is (they didn’t have provolone) it didn’t go 100% with the turkey. Idk what it was.
My friend got the garden omelette which she enjoyed as well. They had amazing choices in dessert but in was too stuffed. And of course I have to mention how great they were with filling my water! Both our waters actually, so on point. Even when we had our jackets on and were about to leave they were filling it. I was like no no I’m good we’re leaving lol

I love this place for their soups their fish soup which they only make only Friday’s is super delicious and the turkey just super super delicious and finally the egg lemon soup… my mouth is watering .you have to go try this soups this winter and you can forget about catching a cold or flue ! I am definitely a fan !!! Keep up the good work bravo!!!

Perfect quick meal after a long drive in. Delivery was quick even with it being 2am and with our bigger sized order, and everything was super fresh and really good! Completely hit the spot!

This is the best diner in Astoria! I’m a little biased perhaps due to my friendship with the owners son. However, they deliver ²⁴⁄₇ and the food is great. Give it a shot if you haven’t been. Owned and operated by Greeks. A truly authentic Greek diner!

My mom loves this place. She goes there frequently but me? No. Every single time that I’ve gone, the food has been mediocre or my order has been wrong. The waiters never seem to know what they have on the menu and have to look at what I’m trying to order. Also, who charges $ 5.00 for a side of avocado! That’s ridiculous. The food isn’t that great and the last time I went, I pulled a hair out of my mouth from the steak I ordered. That’s disgusting!
The one time I had a good experience was when we went in the morning and the waiter had been the guy that frequently took my mom and grandmothers order. He must have been there a long time. He’s great and got our orders wonderfully and was attentive. That’s the only reason I’m giving this review 2 stars and not 1.
I wouldn’t recommend this place. Igloo across the street is in the same price range and much better. Along with Tasty’s right around the block. There are better options than here.

I will start with I am a huge breakfast/​brunch fan. Huge. So I ordered the frittata, it is the only thing I have ever had at Mike’s and after my experience I never want to see frittata again.
I opened the take out container and a flat skinny grey/​tan thing was looking me in the eye. What was it… damned if I know. I tasted it, it was chewy and I still don’t know what it was. I was sad, my frittata couldn’t have ended in the thrash any faster if I developed light speed capabilities. Maybe everything else is good? I won’t be ordering again to find out.

Never ordering there again, horrible ! Oder is never right, girl on the phone is rude too

Ordering from here is such a bad experience, will never again. It went straight to garbage the smell of the food and taste horrible.

Had a quick brunch here. Restaurant is right off the N and Q Astoria Blvd stop. Typical diner fare, nice atmosphere. I see majority of the complaints are coming from those who requested delivery so I guess i’d probably avoid going that route in the future but dine-​in service was quick… like food was served literally 5 minutes after ordering. I’d like to go back for a 2^nd visit to try their lunch/​dinner menu.

One star is too much credit. I placed my order 2.5 hours ago. And when the food finally gets here the drunk delivery guy falls off the bike and crushes my food for real

I love love love this place. Food is always delicious. Service is always friendly and great. Very crowded on weekend mornings but wait time is always short as there is plenty of seating. Even though I moved out of Astoria I still come back to this place. Stop by for breakfast or late night snack, you won’t regret.

One of the best diners in Astoria (so far that I’ve been to)! Mike’s is right off the last stop, Ditmars on the N/​Q train so its easy to get without having to walk so far after a long hard day in the city.
Their burgers are the best, massive and juicy. The Texan is my favorite. Breakfast is also a solid choice with huge portions. Its also a lot more affordable than Bel-​Air and the service is fast when you dine in. Of course there’s also Greek food as well. Its Astoria, after all!
Cashiers and servers are always nice too. If I didn’t live on 30^th ave I would go more often!

I’m going to start with very bad service food very was very cold I order there sampler platter it suppose to bring 6 wings chilli dip with chips and mini tacos … My order cask with only 2 wings 3 chips very cold and chili all over the plate a big mess it was so cold I couldn’t eat o don’t record this place waste of money

Me and my boyfriend always come here when we look at each other and ask «what do you want to eat» and the same time and neither one of us can decide we just somehow always end up here. we come about two-​three or maybe even four times a month. We eat breakfast at night or burgers in the morning. I love this place. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is just so comfortable. The burgers are great and I love the whole wheat pancakes !
I just hate when they forget to fill my cup with water :(but they still deserve 5 stars and this place looks even more beautiful after the remodeling!

So tasty! So good! Excellent service. We had brunch Sunday around 10am. Nice atmosphere, music not too intrusive, friendly service, attentive coffee refills. My favorite part is the selection. There’s, like, 5 kinds of french toast. And they’re serious, none of this listing something on the menu but not actually having it.
I liked the waitress’s attitude.
Me: Can I get… the wheat waffle with… strawberries?
Waitress: Why not?

Came here after Greece’s Independence Day Parade with a group of friends. We had a light dinner and a good time. The owner actually had our order from us and he was very attentive. We did not have to wait for a long time despite the fact that the place was packed because of the occasion that day. Everything seemed to be organized and the place looked very clean and cozy.
We had a variety of dishes and all of them were well cooked and served. We enjoyed our meal and had some coffee too. The owner and the waiters were very pleasant and made jokes in a fun way all the time to make the atmosphere even more pleasant. The prices were very reasonable and the portions of the plates were very big, without that being a bad factor for the quality. Overall very pleased and my recommendation to anyone that happens to be in the area and wants to have a greek, mediterranean or american food.

Many of the bad reviews for this place are from people who ordered over the phone or online. My experience is that this place is pretty good when you go there to dine, but absolutely atrocious if you have your food delivered. I recently had mashed potatoes that were rancid (and so obviously so that the cook had to have known), toast burned so badly that it is black next to toast that was barely toasted, totally unseasoned overcooked meat (when I had ordered medium rare), and other disasters burned, overcooked, undercooked, stale, rancid, etc.
I kept giving them chances because whenever I go there the waitstaff is awesome and the food is good. But when you order online or over the phone it is as if you are dealing with a different restaurant, one in which the cook and the other staff don’t actually see your face, so they don’t care what they send you. Perhaps they think that it is unlikely you will go to the trouble to complain or demand that they replace the food, and they are probably right.

Came here for brunch a few weeks ago, I have to admit they did a great job renovating and it was def needed ! Mikes diner looks great now, spacious and comfy with enough room between tables .
Service was perfect we had a really cool and attentive waitress, food was really good like always and prices are very reasonable !
I will always be a regular here since the food is consistently good with reasonable prices and good service.

I ordered a large lemon soup this afternoon for dinner, I wasn’t able to finish it so I decided to eat it as a late night snack. As I’m eating it something tells me to lift the container in which it came in… As I lift it I see a huge chunk of what appears to be chicken. As I take it out to eat it I soon discover that it is not chicken… Instead it is a huge shard of a ceramic tile/​plate… I don’t know where this came from but I will definitely not be ordering from this place again. Thank God I did not eat this.
Stay away from this place And their soups!!! I wanted to call and complain but I know they’d just brush me off. I can’t call 6 hours later and complain about finding some strange object in my soup! STAY AWAY!
