Great Service, great prices! I had the chicken gyro pita. Comes with red onions and french fries inside, and your choice of sauce– the bomb! Everything taste so fresh, the fries are sooo good! Great menu options– salads, gyros, souvlakis, hamburgers. Many patrons sitting inside. I used to go to the old location in Bayside until they closed, but I might make the trip to Astoria more often for this location.

Pita pan is greek/middle eastern food and is great for a quick bite. The place has decent space and a good amount of seats. Everytime I go I end up getting either the pork, chicken, or lamb gyro. Pork and chicken are delicious. Had the lamb gyro last time didn’t like the meat not that it was bad it’s just I’m not a lamb person. Either way I ate it all lol! I like how when you place your order and sit they bring your food directly to you. Just makes the staff much more affable. Overall, good place to grab a quick bite. Definitely coming back.

Generally pretty reliable for quick yet decent falafel, souvlaki and gyros but tonight I got a Greek salad and, seriously, it had no olives. I’m pretty sure a Greek salad without olives is not actually a Greek salad, but regardless, the sign advertising the Greek salad said clearly it contained«kalamata olives.» So if anyone from PitaPan actually monitors this, guys, you are seriously doing it wrong. Especially in Astoria where your Greek salad competition is so fierce and literally on every corner.

Good cheap meal, beef and pork gyros are the best, the chicken gyro is too dry. Good fresh cut fries that they give you with a pink spicy sauce on the side. Quick and affordable.

2 delicious beef sandwiches and 2 chicken sandwiches(boyfriend’s order) delivered quickly to me at midnight for about 12 bucks. Had to add a load of my own hot sauce to it because it was quite dry, but once I did that, it really hit the spot.

I came here to leave a better review, but when I scroll through existing reviews and see that this guy Matt thinks any negative review is a fake, I’ll drop it to two stars Also I’ll stop going to eat here, if Matt is a manager or owner, I’d rather spend my money elsewhere

Pita Pan is clean, cheap, and open late. Convenient and fast, but you get what you pay for. The chicken gyros taste good but are too salty, and the fries are always soggy. Burgers are decent but are never cooked to order– expect extra well done.

Been a customer for years. Today there were raw pieces of chicken served. So since Matt decided to think that the person who almost got salmonella, was a «fake» review… what does that tell future clientele? That you don’t care to address the issue? That you don’t care what you serve? That you don’t care who gets salmonella? That you don’t have any professionalism? That even if someone is right you still don’t care what happens? Why would anyone post a fake review about salmonella? Please Google raw chicken and see what dangerous things can happen when consumed. What if it was your family member? Also, maybe you should get a new job since you have zero people skills. No one is fake just concerned for health when going to grab a bite.

Place still sucks, staff is still rude and Matt K of Pita Pan called me a loser price of shit because I told him the food was soggy. Also Matt K. Was in there and I did tell you the food was terrible your response was«So, what do you want me to do about it got made and told me to get the fuck out of your store» I think you really have your head in the sand. It’s not just your customer service but the quality of your food. Just look at the way you respond to the reviews. Like it’s not our fault you need to work of your craft. Maybe you should go back to school and learn about the service industry. The mildest Unilocal reviews you have were constructive criticism however you explode with anger instead of taking a step back in fixing it. Good luck, with documented continued a use of your customers you will be out of business in no time.

Loyal customer, I usually come eat here every time I’m in Astoria. Unfortunately today my chicken gyro pita had a huge chunk of UNCOOKEDCHICKEN. Won’t be back. u can’t really play around with UNCOOKEDCHICKEN thank god I saw it. or actually felt a rubber crunch as I chewed. Thanks pita pan! *reply to MATT I was just there at 2:30 pm maybe u should speak to management and deal with the issue in the kitchen. Not on Unilocal … Very unprofessional. And just because I have a few reviews doesn’t imply this is a fake accnt. I’d gladly swing by and address the issue in person. As a business owner serving raw chicken apologize for ur error instead of handling this unprofessionally. Maybe if I report it to dept of health n u can deal with it with a violation.

Pita Pan is Middle Eastern/Greek fast food. You shouldn’t expect more then that. It’s greasy goodness. I recommend the falafel sandwiches– they put fries in it! And they have those Hershey’s pies we all hate to love.

With so many great middle eastern restaurants in Steinway, I do find it hard to believe that Pita Pan has been here as long as I’ve been in the neighborhood. There’s nothing particularly special about their food and they’re definitely more expensive and less tasty as the halal joints literally down the street. The only redeeming qualities about Pita Pan is the fact that it is clean inside and you’re at least eating food that’s better than McDonalds. For me however, I prefer my shawarma with the pickles and garlic paste that adds a nice flavorful kick.

Pita Pan has a special place in my heart. I’ve been coming here since they first opened on the corner and although it isn’t as good n
