I’m conflicted about how to rate this restaurant since I order from them often twice weekly and LOVE their food when it isn’t comically, abysmally screwed up. I get their mozzarella sticks way more often than I will ever admit to my doctor… they’re beer-battered and delicious, not the lame, breaded, out-of-a-freezer-bag kind… but I may have to end my love affair because they arrived soggy and soaked in exploded marinara sauce probably 9 out of the last 10 times I ordered them. I overlooked this and kept ordering, but the very last time was pretty ridiculous and inedible, so I called and asked to have a new order delivered, sans sauce. The woman on the phone was very apologetic and accommodating, so all would have been fine except that my replacement order arrived in the exact same condition. What was laughable was that they had not only NOT omitted the marinara, as requested, but they had included one container inside the box with the sticks AND one container in the bag outside of it. The woman I spoke with must know about the lack of attention to requests in the kitchen, because I called back and said«Yeah, I just got that replacement order of mozzarella sticks…» and she burst in with«Seriously?! Ugh! I’m SO sorry.» So, a place that has amazing, well-made, truly crave-able food(my husband gets something different each time and always says it’s fantastic) gets three stars because their kitchen needs to get on its game with packaging delivery orders. I don’t fault the delivery guys, they have to dodge traffic and try to get my food to me while it’s still hot, in all kinds of weather. I get why the marinara always arrives exploded. So somebody needs to buy some freaking tape and seal those suckers. I’ve probably wasted around $ 100 on soggy sticks at this point. I could’ve had, like, two heart attacks by now. #goals

Last call bowl is amazing. Order an extra pita and make sure you have free schedule for digestion. The grilled shrimp used to be more flavorful, went down hill over the years but still good.

The Staff are a disgrace to the food industry. Very disrespectful if its your first time their they will rush you to order and if theirs any mistakes done to your order they are quick to blame the customer and will not take ownership to help fix your order. The Food is Mediocre. You can get the same chicken from any corner cart in astoria. First time and last time here.

Love this place!!! The bowls are GREAT! Ppl remember if you order food to be delivered it won’t taste the same. It’s still good but not as great as in the restaurant so stop being lazy and go enjoy the food.

Get the Greek Bowl. Any way you do it, it’s great. Be ready for a super-filling meal, but you won’t regret it. I haven’t tried much else yet, but it’s become a spot I come back to, which is saying something for me. Wait times for pickup and delivery have always been quick, and service inside is swift as well.

This place is a joke! I’m surprised they’re still open. We gave it so many chances but we’re done with it. Undercooked pork souvlaki, burned burgers and gyro, cold french fries were our delivery experiences! I feel a little silly for keep giving them a chance over and over… Done!

*Delivery Only* As member of Unilocal community, I feel obligated to warn my fellow Unilocalers against this poor quality restaurant. Grilled Haloumi. The cheese didn’t taste fresh. I like haloumi and this was the worst haloumi I’ve had. Falafel Platter. Both pita bread and lemon potatoes were soggy. The falafel didn’t taste good at all. Bifteki Sandwich. The sandwich was falling apart. Greek style meatballs«bifteki» were unmemorable. I only remember to be very unimpressed. The food was terrible, but 2 stars given to Crave for reasonably timely delivery(30 min), getting the order correct, and at least I didn’t get sick from the food.

Love the Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup! It is my go to food when I’m feeling under the weather. I have ordered delivery from here several times and they are extremely fast, I normally get my food within 20 minutes, well before the Seamless estimate. Crave offers good quality for comparatively good prices.

Over the years this place has changed staff SO many times, it’s hard to have the same experience over the past year. Years ago, this place was the absolute best in Astoria. The falafel platter, the burgers, lemon potatoes, chicken souvlaki, the Greek bowls– all were amazing and awesome. But things started declining over the last 2 years. Surly staff, orders incomplete– and sometimes Seamless orders missing all together. They had it together. They were killing it. But they started a slippery slope, and just kept sliding. I’m hoping that they get some quality staff back there to actually serve their food, because it really needs to get back to their heyday.

I have loved Crave in the past. Lemon potatoes omg delish! But the last 2 times I ordered from them I had negative experiences. A couple weeks back I ordered some extras and I didn’t receive them. Didn’t make an issue of it bc it was $ 1.50 of extra tzatziki so I figured whatever. Last night was another level though. My turkey burger was burned I couldn’t eat it and the lemon potatoes weren’t even cooked all the way through and had little to no lemon flavor. I ended up just eating a pita and tzatziki. Waste of $ 18! I did call and they said they’d credit my account for my next order but I won’t hold my breath that I’ll ever see that discount. Buyer beware. Quality varies from order to order.

Ordered delivery to hotel to give it a shot. The food was very good, delivery was fast and food was hot. I had the burger, was a hand formed tasty patty cooked properly and veggie toppings were fresh and was a good size burger, messy but in a yummy way. I also ordered the pork bowl with rice, pork was tender fresh and flavorful, veggies fresh and portion was good size. I order delivery often and will definitely order from here again!

Been here a few times. My fav is their Fish & Chips. Best I’ve had in a while. My kids love the«bowls» — Queens Bowl, Pizza Bowl. Haven’t had a bad meal yet. Place is small and cramped unfortunately but the food makes it worth it.

This is my favorite spot for late night food. I’ve come here multiple times and I just can’t get enough of the Greek bowl. the burger is also really good here.

Personally, I wasn’t expecting such a great food experience, but I was proven completely wrong. My first greek food experience was amazing and I’m glad I did choose to order greek food rather than just the burgers. We had the Greek Salad and the Last Call bowl. I was a bit on the fence about it, but it was totally awesome. Cheesy? You bet. Tasty? Oh, yeah. Worth the money? Totally. If you’re a health nut, unlike me, you should probably stay away from the bowls though.

Use the Scoutmob deal for 50% off! My friend and I got two Greek bowls(hers with felafel and rice, mine with lamb gyro and mixed greens) and an appetizer of charcoal calamari for $ 12 each. I also got to try the tirokafteri spread — spicy aftertaste!

Went there the other day to give it another shot, I’m one of those that still remember when the place was really good. After a few mins and nobody had bothered giving us menus or even acknowledging us we just left.

The Greek bowl is to die for. I’ve never gotten anything else because it’s just that good. It’s open late too so if you ever want something really satisfying late at night this is the place to go. Also. I wouldn’t get the Greek bowl if you’re worried about caloric intake. Specially if you get it with the fries like I do

Food was very mediocre, had the pork soulaki, meat was undercooked and had no flavor. Service was quick and the pita bread was fresh but just wish the meat was better cooked

I’ve only ordered take out from here. It’s OKAY. It isn’t my first option, but it isn’t bad. I got lemon potatoes, grape leaves, and a Greek salad. It was good, but not very authentic.

I used to be a regular but the quality in the food deliveries has been lacking and the response has been a bit comical. The most recent was when they delivered sandwiches drenched in the cup of soup that was part of the order. My friends and I attempted to eat it but was it was inedible. When I called them, they were nice enough to replace it; 10 mins later they insisted that I hand over the drenched sandwiches in exchange for a new order as if my friends were trying to get over on them. Sorry but there are other options in Astoria that are hassle free, especially over sandwiches that were prob sub par anyway. Pains me to give a crappy review, even moreso to pay for food that we fed to the dog who didn’t want it either.

The service kinda sucked, but the food sure didn’t disappoint! I ordered the Greek Bowl with chicken doner over rice — it was plentiful and super tasty: the chicken was well-seasoned, the pita bread was warm and fluffy, and the vegetables in the bowl were ripe and crisp, the feta was nice and salty too. For dessert I ordered the Fried Cheesecake with Strawberry Sauce, which was a great finish to the meal. Overall, I really liked Crave and look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu.

Crave has some really good Greek food with very affordable prices. They have dining Al Fresco or if you prefer seating inside. There are no windows in the summer, letting coolness and fresh air in. The place has masculine dark wood floors and dark small tiles on the counter. Outside there is a palm plant that adds a nice green touch and contrast to the darker tones of this restaurant. The waiters wear navy t-shirts with Crave on the front. The waiter we had was extremely nice and went above and beyond his job. I had the house salad with grilled chicken for dinner and it was really good and still under $ 9.00. Chunks of white meat chicken as grilled on a stick and the balsamic dressing was delicious. They used cherry tomatoes and the spring mix with carrots was light and refreshing. I also got pita bread. This was exactly what I needed a light but satisfying meal. My friend had the chicken souvlaki platter for $ 9.95. The platter has 2 sticks of grilled chicken on a stick and she choose lemon potatoes, which were cooked to perfection, soft with a buttery texture and with a hint of lemon. It came with pita bread and a tzatziki sauce and the waiter brought out an extra one which I used to dip the pita bread. You can choose from other sides for the platter such as chips, rice, sauteed vegetables, string beans, steamed broccoli or mixed greens salad. Astoria has so many restaurants and many restaurants with clean bathrooms and Crave is no exception. I was super impressed by the food, bathroom and wait service that I gave our waiter a really good tip. He had refilled our water, even opened the bathroom door for my friend. Wow! I really crave Crave.
