Everything they sell seems to be totally unhealthy and horrible (very sugary candy, of course) — which is okay for adults who want to stop in — but the way they go out of their way to make this seems like a place for kids, including their tacky/​cheap-​looking decorations and all of their events for kids, etc., is just mindblowing! This is the problematic part — it’s almost as if they WANT to make our kids unhealthy!
2 stars because they seem like nice (but very ill-​informed) people!

I have bought a wide variety of candy here a few days ago. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize it had expired almost a year ago until after I ate it. Gross lesson learned.

Clock is ticking before this place shuts down! Tick, tock, tick… and I mean like shut down to never exist again. Some outdated and old candies. Not sure what the owner of this place was thinking opening a candy store next to the school. Did he really think parents nowadays let kids eat all that junk.

Wowza. Very cool place. Not only do they have all the latest candy but old retro candy I remember from my childhood. And if they don’t have something you like they’ll actually try to find it for you… Not to mention the patio parties we saw going on in the back. Looked like tons of fun. I’m definitely gonna try their candy buffet services for my next party.

Highly disappointed by The Candy Bar! Don’t waste your time and money at this establishment. I am giving a one star rating only because the owner was very friendly. Not only do I agree with the last review on the caliber of candy selection, but the candy here is OLD and EXPIRED! A package of Swedish fish which had an expiration date of December 2013 was still out for purchase this month. The various candies we chose from the jars were rock hard and barely edible. There’s no telling how long that candy has been sitting around. Lastly, it was completely overpriced. Unfortunately, we found out the hard way, but will certainly not be visiting The Candy Bar again.
