Pretty cool little spot!!! Music 1 – 10? Is like a 7 the only bad thing is that AC is not as powerful as it should be and thats a no-no in nightclubs, lounges or Bars!!! Beautiful crowd and people is super chill

punk ass bouncers at this place had a severe power trip… I walked in there late this past weekend with shorts on … not realizing their dress code. Nobody stopped me at the door. I was confronted when I got in that I couldnt be there in shorts. I told them it wasnt a problem will change and come back. Came back five minutes later… walked in again with pants this time and was grabbed by the bouncer telling me to get the fuck out of his club. I tried to explain that I changed but he decided to take this as resisting and proceeded to shove my ass towards the exit. I didnt take so kindly to this so I pushed back. Before I knew it I had three of these punks throwing punches at me and throwing me to the ground. Woke up with a black eye and busted elbow. I am considering calling the cops and pressing charges. Quite frankly this was assault. Was wondering if anybody else had issues at this so called club.

It was small barely any air conditioning to hot. Then the bill came anything over 100 $ they put gratuity on. She just lopped the check book on bar and said I added my cut and walked away. Very rude your suppose to be tipped for good service. Music was to loud for such a small place.

This place is still good for cheap drinks and ok hookah.(Anywhere on Steinway 10x better) The castle theme is still very cute(I like cheesy things sometimes) and the DJ is not bad. Unfortunately this place is never poppin’. Doesn’t draw a big crowd not that I want it crowded like a club in the meatpacking district. I have to agree with previous Unilocalers, this place is consistently dead. On a brighter note if you are rollin’ with 10+ people just go there. It will look like you rented the place out for an occassion for you and your friends.

I came here at around 3 o clock one morning with some friends. We were in the area and just searching around for a party to hit up. My friends had come here the week before and said it was decent enough. A bitch to get in if not wearing shoes(for guys) but they were willing to try even though 2 of the 3 of the guys had on sneaks. It’s cute! It’s a castle. Their is a velvet rope and all that funky stuff out front with 2 guys at the door acting like the friggin princess is in side. Mind you. the only friggin princess in this spot was me! The inside is all castle-y but more like the dungeon area than anything else. The coat check is right as you walk in. A cute young woman was there. She was friendly and didn’t complain as we scrambled around in the dark to find money to pay her. She was sweet and waiting patiently. As we walked in I realized it was pretty empty. Not like dead. but def not as many people as I would have hoped for. Looked a little scarce in there and hella Hispanic, which wasn’t bad. but I like a mixed crowd. Too much of any one thing is no good. The bar tender was friendly and behaved as I wanted her to. Smiled, made suggestions, and waited patiently as we decided what we wanted. 2 shots of Patron is what we decided on. Decently priced and decently sized shots. The music was ok(but closer to bad). I don’t know what they were playing before 3. but there was TOO much reggaeton going on which I don’t care for too much. Of course I danced anyways. They eventually got into some top 40 and dance stuff so it wasn’t too bad. Anyways, it was pretty empty in here and still people managed to bump me. which I found to be pretty annoying. Probably won’t be coming back anytime soon. The sweet coat check girl and bar tender can’t

Hidden in a quiet surrounding area, yet blocks from the main avenues is this hookah/dance spot that serves up some just what you need. Went here on a Saturday evening and there was a live DJ that played a mix of house/hip-hop/spanish music. Great crowd, went with a birthday crew and Carlo and his staff was very accomodating, even after splashing cake all over each other. Great find — will come again when I’m in the area.

I absolutely love this place! I first went here when a friend of mine invited me out and I became a regular. The bar staff is extremely friendly and the bar itself is pretty well stocked up. I’ve only been two this place on two weekends(I usually go every Tuesday) and I can honestly say this place rivals the ambience that you’ll find in a well-established bar in the Village! The DJ pumps out good tunes all night and the place’s «sexy and neat» dress code assures that everyone is looking their best! The food here is also amazing, as is the hookah! There isn’t a time when I go that I’m not tempted to buy myself a $ 10 hookah, as it’s priced on Tuesdays! Overall a fun bar!

So as u see all the reviewers of V lounge except me– have only ONE review, and of course it’s for this place. So 3 people really took the time to join Unilocal JUST to review this spot… and in one sentence at that? That’s suss. I love fish, but not fishy reviews. Well…this place is such a disaster!!! A sad sad story. They’re lucky I’m even giving an extra star just because the girl at the coat check was a doll, and one of the cocktail waitresses, or whatever her title was, was pretty helpful. First off it’s a newer lounge right? Well then what’s good with the raggedy ass chairs. I posted a pic. It looks like someone’s been gnawing on that shit. Definitely not a fan. Next I’m still mad that I couldn’t get a full shot. I mean they only offer half shots. Yea I could do two half shots, but that’s wack. I’m not a chump. I’ll take mine in ONE glass, thanks. Now let me just say that in attempts to loose weight and with high hopes of successfully doing it in a fast manner, I hadn’t eaten A THING when I came here last week. That means I had an empty stomach, furthermore meaning that one well made drink + one shot of patron = schwasted. The Spanish bartenders didn’t understand English. Well I shouldn’t say both, just one… the one who I was trying to order a «margarita» from… smh. They kept translating back and forth and shit. What I thought was a great margarita turned out to be weak, watered down, sweet, almost virgin drink. The music: I have to say the DJ is ONPOINT, BUT the sound system itself is HORRIBLE. I’m no one to talk about sounds either trust me. I can barely hear. My mom says I yell when I talk because I obviously have hearing problems. This music was entirely, overbearing-ly loud, and with WAY too much voice and not nearly enough bass. I mean if something is TOO loud for me, AND its good music to boot then I can assume i=something is wrong! And it looks like a castle? Really!!! Try medieval times in New Jersey! Where’s the turkey legs? Want to see a castle? Go to England, or even Disney world! I don’t know this place just seems like a complete lie from the Unilocal reviews. Sometimes when I see four or four and a half or even five star places, that only have been reviewed by a few people, and those reviewers only have a few reviews I SOMETIMES think its an inside business thing… but than again who am I to speak! I was here on a Friday night, and I was THEEONLY person here on the Friday night. Yes my friend was with me, but that was it; just us and all the workers that roamed around and tried to make the atmosphere seem«poppin». Another thing that pissed me off was that as we left, the two cocktail waitresses were standing by the exit chatting. Now I’m always polite for the most part, especially to people I don’t know. I meet and greet, ask with kindness, and always end with the proper goodbye«thanks/have a great night» that sort of thing. One thing that bugs me(and it happens at work ALL the time) is when I say«good morning» and I don’t get a response. Shit drives me nuts! I only give ONE chance, and than you’ll really see my politeness. Well same goes for that evening as we were exiting V lounge I told the two girl to have a good night and get home safe(in regards to the«crazy» snow we were suppose to get last week). They looked at me, couldn’t be bothered with wasting any of their precious voices on me, and kept talking. I then screamed«RUDE» and left. That’s when I saw the coat check girl again and gave her another tip just for being such a pleasant worker at such a dump! She is the reason for the second star, as well as the DJ. You know how I roll in this case KIP — — –Keep It Movin!!!

My new favorite place! Came here to meet some friends on a sat and this place was pumping! Music was a nice mix of reagaeton, top 40, and Spanish. Drinks are reasonably priced, people are nice and guys aren’t touchy. The outside literally looks like a castle which is fun.
