First of all i have to say that it was like a damn oven inside this place! Are they too cheap to turn on some air or what?! For what they charged me($ 20.24)for a cheese enchilada & a ground beef enchilada with rice and beans and a small sprite you would think they could at least turn the air up to match the temp outside! The salsa was like an oily red liquid that barely had any zing to it at all! The waitress ignored me when i asked her for a to go bag for my chips and container for my salsa so i asked the girl that was busing the tables and she got them for me then got her ass chewed for doing so and was told to let me know that they dont allow customers to take the chips and salsa to go because they are free! Thats somewhat comical to me. So really? What are they gonna do put them out for the next customer or bag them up for a to go order or throw them away? Whatever the deal was i dont think i will eat here again the food wasnt that great and the service sucked! Not to mention i just about had a damn heat stroke while trying to eat! NEXT!

Got take out last night. Food was good but a little pricey. I got the chimichonga a la carte and a side of beans. Great flavor in both. The side of beans was $ 3 and could have fed a while family. Would have liked a smaller option on the side of beans. The chimichonga was big enough to fill you up.

Just visited Marina’s again during our annual trip to Morro Bay and Paso Robles and it didn’t disappoint.(I’m surprised at all the poor reviews; but we always go at around 11am and are usually the only customers in the restaurant, so the service is always very good.) They have the freshest chips and really good salsa – not too oniony and not too hot(but not too mild either). I ordered my usual chicken chimichanga lunch special, and it was perfect.(In my previous review the special was $ 6.95; it’s now $ 9.95, I think. But still worth it!) My husband and I are Mexican food mavens, and we love this place! Rave, rave, rave.

Marinas is one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve ever eaten with and we go there at least twice a month. They serve the BEST chile verde I’ve ever eaten anywhere. The beer is COLD& the salsa is amazing. My husband loves their taco salad with chicken & I prefer a bowl of the chile verde. The enchiladas are delicious, including the ones with shrimp.

Oh man. The guac here is the best in town! Real, thick, guacamole. Good rice and beans, great priced combos, quiet, and good waiters/waitresses. They even have $ 2 pints(not sure of the days/hours) but I mean — what’s not to like about a $ 2 beer?! My boyfriend and I love this place! Their chips and salsa are so good — nice and spicy. This reminds me of the food my Nonni used to cook. Our new favorite Mexican food place! See you guys soon!

The service was terribly poor, never did get our waters! The child’s plate was incorrectly made twice(without rice and beans), the server brought our margarita carafe but no glasses. I will never go back.

Horrible… Maybe they were over busy but the food that we did get was terrible.. Asked 4x for water, never got it. Packaged guacamole without any added flavor… The worst.

I had never been to Marianna’s but had driven by several times. I got a coupon from a circular for fajitas for 2 so my daughter and I decided to give it a try. I am really glad we did. The waitstaff were friendly, the food was excellent! This is now my go-to Mexican restaurant! The chips and salsa were superb, I think they make their own chips. The fajitas were delicious and the portions were more like for 4 people rather than 2, allowing us to take some home for later. I was very happy with the service and food at Marianna’s and recommend it highly for those looking for great Mexican food!

We come here fairly regularly. The people are very friendly and the food is good. The atmosphere could definitely use a little work but I’m there for the food. Maybe it was worse several months ago, or even a year ago as some of these negative reviews were that old, but I would give it a try for yourself. Don’t be afraid of the unpacked parking lot; some locals do walk there.

Very yummy food, very nice service! The place is very nice and quaint inside and has great seating outside on a nice day or evening.

This place has so much potential, yet it continues to under utilize it’s strengths. Chili Rellenos are great and worth the drive, the cheese enchiladas are not so great and covered with fresh from the can red sauce. The $ 2 beer is a good offer.

Food quality is poor. I was ill after eating here. The service was terrible and unprofessional. The staff was busy eating behind the bar and not serving the customers. The only reason it deserves one star is $ 2 beer.

This was a big disappointment… Nothing homemade or original, I’m sure if you went into the kitchen you would find canned salsa and sauces. Fish tacos tasted fishy… must of been old fish. Beans flavorless. Chips were stale. Don’t waste your money!

This place is a bit over-priced for the quality of food provided. The bacon wrapped shrimp were good. The chiles rellenos were very good. Interesting margarita

Waitress moved quickly but had to wait for everything. 1. We both order a beer each and I ask for water. She dosn’t stay long enough at our table to ask if my husband would like water too. 2. Returns with 1 beer, gives it to my husband and 1 water to me. 3.Tossed my salad, without dressing, on our table so fast it spun like a top. Couldn’t catch her attention to remind her of my dressing. 4.Still waiting for 2nd beer 5. Food arrives which is mediocre. 6.Get the whole container of dressing, not a ramekin of it. As soon as I poured some out of it. She took it and put it away. Overall, I can’t return.

Party of four decided that we wanted Mexican. It was a beautiful evening so we also wanted to dine alfresco. We tried another place first(based on Unilocal reviews), but the outdoor seating was right next to the parked cars so we came here. Happy we did! Definitely a very casual atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and sweet. I liked that you can order margaritas by the ½ and whole liter! Chips and salsa were excellent(we had three baskets of the chips and three bowls of salsa!!). I had the shrimp diablo. Although it wasn’t as spicy as I’d anticipated, it was very good. The others had carne asada and fajitas and enjoyed them too. The bleu cheese dressing(which was very good) came out in tupperware!

We came in last night when the Mr. really wanted chili verde and Garcias was fresh out. He of course ordered the large chili verde burrito and I ordered the chimichanga dinner. There were a number of other patrons and only 1 server. She was running like long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Despite this she was friendly and mostly on top of things. I did ask for no lemon in my water and it arrived with a big fat wedge. I can be forgiving on that. The chips and salsa were pretty good. Our food arrive in a timely manner. Mine was quite good– the best chimichanga I’ve had since leaving Fresno. He said the chili verde was good, but a bit too spicy for him. I asked the waitress if he could get a small chicken burrito instead, since most of the other was uneaten. She was fairly gracious and apologized saying that some times the jalepenos they use are very spicy. The burrito that came out had a MUCH milder orangey red sauce and was much easier for him to eat. We will come back again!
