If I could do 0 stars I would. Save your money. The worst food I ever ever tasted!!!

Where else can you go for a Pastrami Cheese Burger and a Root Beer Shake? They were great. I liked that they had outdoor tables to eat on.

This will be the last time I visit this restaurant. Poor service and dwindling selection of food products makes me wonder if this restaurant is on its way out. Food had always been mediocre at best anyways. I wonder what will be at this location next?

I just can’t give it even two stars. The drive thru has old menu signs, an old speaker box with tape or something on it, and no one is ever there. And they do take forever, no other customers, and still got our order wrong! I makes me feel like it is not kept up like other Weinershnitzels I’ve been to. It is a combo with Tastee-​Freeze, but there isn’t even a sign up saying that and they are next to the freeway. Sheesh! My partner likes their angus dogs so we go 2 times a month and I still haven’t eaten anything that’s up to par. The patty melt was awlful, I actually threw it away. Cheeseburger boring, pastrami gross, I’ve decided to just quit wasting my money. Remodel this place and get up a modern freeway sign and you’ll have some business folks!!!

Way OVERPRICED! I definitely do not mind paying for quality, but this is crazy! When I drove up to the drive through I was shocked at how pricey they were, but ordered anyway. I ordered a regular hot fudge sundae and two small shakes for the kids. The sundae was priced at $ 2.69 and the shakes were around $ 3 each. I was expecting to pay somewhere in the vicinity of just over $ 9.00 with tax, which in my opinion was already overpriced. When we got to the cashier, the bill was $ 12.24. When I asked the cashier how it got so expensive, she replied «tax». I asked, «$ 3.00» in tax? She gave me a blank stare, then turned to her colleague behind her. The person behind her came to the window and said, «All of our prices have increased and we have not yet changed the board».
Really? I am sorry. that is so tacky! In a business where customer service is so competitive, I wonder why they are in the process of cutting their own throat.
Next time I will absolutely drive the extra 5 miles round trip to McDonald’s and get the same product items for under $ 6.00.
On the positive note, although their milkshakes were nothing special, the fudge on their sundae was quite delicious!
I am selecting «moderate» on the pricing, because although they may be less expensive than Chili’s, they are expensive for their targeted market.

Way over priced, extremely slow service and the Icecream was good but the food not so much.

Staff is very friendly usually, the manager is rude and seems like he hates his life.

Great customer service. And awesome Sundays, malts and root beer floats! Very clean and organized place! Most favorite was the TVs!

Please revise the hot dog bun on the philly cheese. It ruined it. I like it better on the roll.

went to the drive-​thru at 12:30…two cars in front of me and only 2 cars in the parking lot. I ordered 4 Chicago Dogs and was in line for 15 minutes. When I FINALLY received my order, I asked if it normally takes that long to get 4 hot dogs and the Guy said, «we’re very busy». I told him, «You are NOT!». Hope they go out of business with that attitude, like all the other restaurants in Atascadero.

Driving by and saw the Tastee Freez sign… I knew I had to get off the freeway and grab a dipped cone!
This place is a combo Tastee Freez /​Wienerschnitzel.
The place is huge inside.
The dipped cone was good… just like I remember.
But the place is dirty and the owner/​manager that was working was super unfriendly.
He shouldn’t be working in retail!
Free WIFI was a bonus.
I would not eat food here tho. It kinda grossed me out!

Great food and excellent customer service in this Burger/​Malt shop. The place is really clean and the staff is friendly. My choice to eat whenever I am in town.

Man, the owner is SUCH a jerk. Tried to sell me a two ring ice cream soft serve for 2 bucks in the drive through, when I said I didn’t want that as he brought it to the window, he said that was standard and he would not give me a refund. I did not want the ice cream and asked for the manager, which bummer, he was. He started cussing at me and told me to drive through or he would call the police to move me. I asked for the # to corporate and he gave me the wrong #. The poor kids that work there and have to deal with this guy. I hope he goes out of busisness, he has no idea about customer service and is plain rude. I was embarrased for my kids. We will never go there again…

Must try the Freezes — very thick (have to use a spoon) soft serve ice cream and a lot of crumbled Oreos or candy bars mixed throughout. Personally, I LOVE the Butter Finger (candy bar) Freeze. As far as burgers, the best is the Big Country Burger. The owner gives so much back to the community and especially the schools that I patronize this place whenever I need to have ice cream.

Awesum food… loved the Pastrami sandwich and the ice cream Rocks. Best quick eats this side of Vegas.
