Well it is time for an update. Garcia’s is doing great. Thanks for the big fat burritos, and I am just talking about the regular burrito, that for many would be a meal for two, especially when you add the chips and salsa. The large burrito must boggle the mind, and who knows what golden badge yo might get for eating the whole thing, or there is that old mantra ‘I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.’ Garcia’s is always friendly and very prompt. They are popular and orders can pile up, with a line and the phone, but the handle it all cheerfully and with ease. Give the menu a try. My favorite is the pollo verde. Oh yeah! I can taste it now.

Gross, chicken was marinated strangely like no Mexican food I’ve eve had, the meat was all dark meat and looked old; very fatty also. The salsa tasted like it was made with can tomato sauce. I’m originally from SF, CA home of the burrito and this doesn’t even come close. Will not be going back, we just moved here and will continue searching. Why are good burrito’s so hard to find on the Central Coast… oof. LOL, oh yeah 8.95 for a regular burrito and 10.00 for a large???

Really good food and customer service. Their Carne asada was very good quality with almost no grisle and the pollo verde was amazing. I ordered a half nachos and it was seriously huge. It filled up an entire stryrophome container. The people who work there are super nice and pleasant. And they have the thick, crunchy chips. Mmm!

Cheap, easy, delicious Mexican food. This is where you’ll find the best burritos on the central coast, hands down

The VERYBEST burritos in the area! My wife and I always look forward to stopping at Garcia’s when we travel to/through the Central Coast. My favorite is the Steak Fajita burrito, and my wife loves the veggie burrito. Both are so big that we easily have leftovers for a snack later. Just the BEST!

Liked their food, been about a dozen times BUT the cashier yesterday called me a p__a thinking I wouldn’t know what the word meant. Much better food @ Taco de Mexico just 2 miles away. So the cashier gal waited until I’d tipped her $ 2 and given my credit card before going to the 2 lady cooks and tells them to put the hot sauce in the fajitas ‘por la p__a“ BOth cooks smiled widely at me and I just stoopidly returned their smiles… what would YOUDO?

The food here is amazing. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite Mexican places. It is defiantly a to go kind of place, the side of the building even says Mexican fast food. My only note is make sure the servers understand what you want sometimes your order can literally be lost in translation. My favorite is the steak fajita burrito. The spices are amazing it makes my mouth water thinking about it. Definitely worth a try.

This is a very small family owned business. But I am not amazed on how busy they are. The food is made fresh to order and very good. The burrito I ordered was much bigger than I had expected. I also ordered the chicken taquitos not knowing how big my burrito was going to be. I’m from out of town and I was hungry. The food was so good I had to eat it all. I will definitely come here again when I am in town. This is a great place to eat.

This is a must-eat-at place every time I visit the central coast. I’ve been coming for years and it’s glorious. The meat is scrumptious: pollo Colorado, adobada, asada — ALLBOMB. The service is amazing(they remember everyone!), the prices are great, and it’s literally the best you can get. You’d be crazy not to frequent this spot. We need more places like this around.

Wow. And that’s wow in a very very bad way. This is the first time I wish there were negative stars. Tried them again about 10 years after a carnitas disaster back when they were under a different name. This place should be shut down for serving chunks of fat and calling it carnitas. Nothing was bearable. The«guacamole» was mostly sour cream, the«salsa» looks fake and is tasteless. But I really can’t get over the hard chunks of fat called carnitas. We threw away our 20 dollar dinner after a couple bites of the gross carnitas sope, gross carnitas nachos, and pathetic quesadillas.

Great nachos! :D I was craving nachos and found this place on Unilocal. Couldn’t be more happy with the massive portions and the delicious combination of stuff piled on. Plus, their horchata is so fresh and yummy. Next time I’ll be trying their burritos!

Re: the W You have yet to try what Garcias is all about. They have fresh chips and salsa. The burritos are amazing, not store bought. And the service is like as if they were neighbors. Fresh horchata too! If you didn’t like the food they would have fixed it for you. Its currently a family buisness that they seem to take great pride in. Try them again you’ll be surprised.

Garcias used to have fresh made food but lately, the lat few times I’ve been there the food seems like it’s been sitting there. The meat in the soft tacos was tough and the color was black, it almost looked burnt and the trimmings had no flavor. As if they were left out of the fridge. Idk what changed but their food is just not worth the money anymore and i will not be returning.

This place is more of a takeout place than a restaurant. I ordered the 3-item combo: taco, enchilada and chile reano. The meat is excellent, 4.5 stars. The food however is just okay. The hard taco was kind small. The enchilada was good, but nothing special. The chili reano was just okay, they added tomatoes which is a little different. The rice is very plain, I didn’t like it much. The beans are okay, they didn’t have that refried taste. If I come back next time. I’m just going to get an all-meat only burrito. Chips & salsa is extra, lower them star.
