The turkey sub all the way is so good. Also they hand slice the sausage. A thin slice with sausage is perfect late night after the bars. This place and the Georgia Theatre were my go too four nights a week when I was in college.

I’m so glad I don’t live in Athens, because if I did, I weigh 700 lbs and be half drunk all the time thanks to the delicious pizza and cheap beer at little Italy. Not only is this place cheap as hell, it’s the best pizza south of Brooklyn.

At first I thought that this was just the place you go to get some dough to soak up the booze. Okay, it may be that — BUT: the slices here are legit. The crust is perfectly chewy, slightly charred and oh-​so-​delicious. Nice folks there too

I lived in ny for 6 months. I looked for that great by the slice pizza since 1989 and never found it till now. It’s AMAZING! Thank you for being authentic!

This was the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life. I gave two stars because the service was good.

Cashier for some reason decided that he would not sell single slices anymore even when the chef said he could make them. Terrible customer service and the pizza tastes like they haven’t clean the oven in years. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

The worst part about not living in Athens anymore is not being near Little Italy. The pizza slices are really big and quite tasty. The subs are incredible and also massive. I can never eat one by myself. The subs are about $ 7 and easily feed two people. This place is very divey on the inside and the staff is not known for their friendliness, but I would wholeheartedly recommend this place both for lunch and for late night eats. Trust me on the subs.

I wouldn’t know how the food was because they only got half my order right. You got one job, order taker. Very disappointing experience.

Good food great price neat little hole in the wall pizza joint. Very large cold subs and hot subs. The pizza is good and you can get it by the slice. A slice is the size of two or three regular slices.

My meatball sub was delicious. It was on fresh, crusty Italian bread, served hot. It had a wonderful sauce and was loaded with mozzarella. This ain’t health did, but it is definitely tasty. My wife liked her custom made Pizza by the slice. They do not skimp on the toppings here.

Best pizza in Athens by far. From the thin crust to the employees attitudes, this is the closest thing to a real NYC pizzeria in town. Don’t come here expecting warm and fuzzy service. Make up your mind, put in your order and move along. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Just picked up 4 pies (1am) for my crew doing some face lift work at my restaurant. Great food, great service. Happy employees took great care of me. Best pizza in Athens Ga.

Num num num! I love this place. Always open — staff is great (they won’t kiss your ass though) — it’s cheap — and the food is the best! Plus it’s actually open late so you can always go. I go quite regularly. Love this place. Try it!

Incredible pizza. Huge slices and they taste wonderful. It’s super busy but worth the wait. Also, they cater very well to the drunk crowd.

Greasy, relatively cheap. Not the friendliest of employees. You get a lot for what you pay.

First night in Athens and this was the place to be for a late night bite.
Being in a college town, this place was packed at 1 in the morning. I asked the server what he recommended, but he didn’t have much to say. I ended up ordering a slice of the meatball pizza. I got the slice and realized that it was super greasy with not enough cheese. The way they had meatball on the pizza was mashed up meat placed on the pizza, not really what I had in mind. My colleagues ordered pepperoni pizza and the pepperoni didn’t seem to be tossed on unevenly and raw. Another colleague had the calzone which was really good but! It took awhile to make and the marinara sauce was watered down.
I would say my overall experience there was so so. It’s funny, but my work ordered pizza from here soon after and I thought it was probably the best piece of pie I had since being in Athens! When I realized that it was from little Italy I just assumed that the delivered pizza was better than my experience in the resturant.
