It would get 5 stars if they could stop burning the pizza crust. Salads are great!

This is my family’s favorite pizza spot. It’s so nice to dine outside & let the little ones play in the sandbox. Super laid back. Delicious food! Good dessert options.

If you’re from the northeast and looking for decent pizza, go here. It’s simple, quick and tasty. This is the only spot in Athens that doesn’t undercook a pizza pie. Great staff and great desserts too. Love, a verified paesano.

Love it! Probably my favorite Athens resteraunt and boy is that a competitive title. Great specialty pizzas everyday and tons of pizza options. I wouldn’t really stray from the pizza. Nothing on the menu is bad but the pasta and paninis are just good while the pizza is fantastic. The plate if cured meats, pesto, bread, cheese, and mixed olives is a great appetizer and absolutely to die for. Keep the leftovers to make some bomb-ass sandwiches later. The pizza seems authentically Italian and is a personal pizza with very very thin crust that is burned just right. Tons of The cheesecake is also very nice. I love coming here after Creature Comforts and recently discovered that nets you 10% off your meal. Oh and I haven’t even mentioned the atmosphere yet. Sitting outside is positively choice. On a sunny day tons of families will bring their kids to play in the huge sandbox outside and that just adds so much to the general mirth of the outdoor seating area. During the winter I really appreciate being able to still sit outside due to a big tent and some heaters.

Love eating outside here, it’s a great location and they have a sand pit for kids to play in. The pizza is good, they’re personal so it’s not a lot and they’re pretty thin with not a ton of toppings.

We wanted to sit outside on a beautiful day and enjoy some great food in Athens. This place was just the ticket and we enjoyed a wonderful baked goatcheese salas with grilled chicken and and ciabatta roll. The goat cheese salad although good, was an extremely small portion with about 2oz of grilled chicken– it was the large portion too? Both very yummy, just wished we had time to enjoy one of their many delicious desserts on display.

We just happened to stumble across this awesome place after a gymnastics meet at the classic center. Wandered in with a bunch of little girls and their parents. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Not to mention the food was perfect ! I just wish there was one closer to my home in Johns Creek.

Great pizza, and a nice patio area to relax and have a nice meal in. Try the cheesecake, some of the best in town!

The salads are all pretty tasty and a decent size as a half or whole. The pizzas are great, mark sure you order them well done. We also like the garlic knots and sliders. Good happy hour with $ 1 off drafts and I think $ 2 PBRs. The sandbox is great for our toddler who has a blast in it. Counter ordering with delivery to table but you have to go back to the front for refills. Last time, I finally just grabbed a pitcher of water. Super nice folks.

I had a pizza with sliced pears, mozzarella, sauce and substitution of goat cheese for the gorgonzola. It was delicious. I’m from New Jersey and I like to think I know pizza. This isn’t your straight up greasy slice from Brunos down the corner… This was a nice artisian pizza with good flavors. My guests had a more standard fare and enjoyed it as well. The cappuccinos were good and we had a nice tome. Not fancy but I would recommend it… Even in NJ

I had a great experience here! Have been twice, both on Friday nights on game weekends; the line was long, but quite manageable. The pizza is pretty good! Great prices and each is truly a pizza for one. Not the BEST pizza I’ve ever had, but good! I like that they have an interesting selection of toppings rather than just your standard marinara sauce and pepperoni. My favorite part of Ted’s is the atmosphere. They have a really fantastic patio with TONS of seating. They also have a great dessert selection and a really decent beer selection. I like that it’s seat yourself, so you don’t feel pressure to get up and leave if you’d like to stay and have a few drinks.

Sliders, pizza, calzones are awesome. Pasta dishes taste like something you get from a fast food Italian place. Decent beer selection. Decent happy hour. Quick service.

Great patio! Quantity of food is small but it’s really the perfect amount for me. They have a great selection of made-from-scratch cupcakes, cakes, and pies. I went in recently and got the slider sampler. The caprese was my favorite, but the chicken and meatball ones were also very tasty. The service is extremely quick!

This place gets extra points. Once for having amazing food, and another for having amazing scenery. And I’m not talking about the décor. I’m talking about the patrons. It’s like watching models have a late dinner. - What’s amazing about this town is that if you’re hungry at 1AM, a place like this is open for your needs. It’s also amazing because the pizza was AWESOME. We killed a couple of personal pizzas in no time flat, then sat back to watch the other customers come and go. - Awesome, awesome place…

I have to give these guys some love. Portions seemed a little small for the price point, but the food was delicious. Service was fast. And it’s clear staff is really into their guests. Every thing they did, they did with a smile. I was readily seated at 5:30pm on a Wednesday. They let me hang out until my co-conspirators arrived, and then kept our glasses full as our conversation developed. In fact, they were really good at clearing off the table so we could all get some work done. We also ordered a stack of pizzas to go. It seemed to take less than a few minutes for that stack of pizza to arrive to the table. Hot and ready to go. I’ll happily return to Ted’s when I’m next in Athens. Holler if you’re coming with.

GREAT pizza. This place is so cool. From what I can tell, it’s a converted auto shop turned pizzeria. Great atmosphere, even for a Sunday night. The staff was cool and nice too. I had the bacon and egg pizza which is basically a bacon pizza with a sunny side egg on top. Incredible; nothing like anything I’ve ever had and would definitely order again. Also had the fried goat cheese app with bread. Really good too. Will be back!

«The dog, Jesus Christ, I’m not that evil. Cut the old man’s head off. You guys hungry? I’m starving. Let’s go get some pizza.» — Kick-Ass 2(2013) Wandering downtown, dying for food on a Friday night and every place had a crazy long wait and across the street we see TMB. We decided to walk in and give it a shot. The line was long, but seemed to be moving. The deal is your order at the counter and then grab a seat — the seats seemed to be clearing as soon as someone would order, so it felt like there would be seats open by the time we placed our order. So the placed smelled divine, we picked a good place. There were plenty of pizzas on the menu to choose from, but the build your own options of toppings looked too good not to pick that option. Also, there were garlic knots on the menu. Sold! I opted for a white pizza with prosciutto and arugula. We found a table and waited for our food to arrive. The garlic knots showed up quickly with a side each of marinara and oil. They were small, but packed with yeasty flavor. They could have used more garlic to really be called garlic knots — but they were still yummy. 6 to a half order was enough for 2 people to share, but if you were also sharing a pizza, they are not enough. When the pizza came out, oddly it had a couple of green flecks on it and I think the look on my face was enough to tell the server that something was not right. She asked if it was arugula and when I said it was, she asked if I would like more. Ummm more? I’d like any at all. She took it away and brought it back packed to the gills with arugula on top! I dove in and it was delicious. Not quite to the level of Neapolitan style pizza I can find in Atlanta, but still pretty good. I devoured the entire pie — and I don’t regret it one bit. It’s great to know this place is downtown and a great quick option before a show at the Georgia Theatre in the future. I would definitely return.

We saw this restaurant as we were walking through Athens. We decided to give it a try and I am very glad we did! When you enter you smell the fragrance of Northern style hoagies. My husband had the Italian and he loved it. I had the artichoke salad which was very good as well. The décor is very industrial and the whole place is light and bright.

I love sunny side up eggs on my pizza. So this place was bound to jump on my list of places to try. Instead of the bacon & egg though we tried the Hawaiian, and I ordered a house salad and the soup of the day, a butternut squash soup topped with crème fraîche w/croutons. All of it came out perfect. The butternut isn’t overly pureed, and nicely seasoned. This place also has a kickin’ patio. The insides okay, but the patio is pretty chill. They have a sandbox with toys for kids to play in too which I found as a neat touch. Add in a nice cool breeze, and we’re set. I will mention pizzas on menu are more personal size, but they have larger sizes. Crust is mostly thin crust. Anyways, I’ll be back for you, bacon & egg pizza. Mostly for the egg, but I’ll be back.
