Filthy hotel. Room was kind of clean, meaning I’ve seen worse. I checked in at 2 am after drivng many hours the 2 days before. To my suprise I get 2, not 1 wake up call, but 2 wake up calls at 6 and 6:05. Neither of the 2 did I ask for. I tried to call the front desk but I guess you can’t on the room phone. So I turn on my phone that I had turned off so nobody would wake me up. Ironic, I know. Here’s how the call to the front desk went. «Yes, front desk.» «Hello, can you tell me why this phone keeps ringing?» «„Oh a prior guest must have had wake up calls and it was never turned off… Giggles loudly“ „Why are you laughing?“ „I didn’t laugh.“ Yes you did.» «Somebody down here made me laugh.» Me; «Well, did you laugh or not…». Hangs up. Useless.

First room we went to smelled awful so we got a new one. The bed is very hard and it’s hard to sleep with the noise

Rooms aren’t bad but rather small. Breakfast area is the pits even by Super 8 standards. Pet fee is $ 5. Except for TVs the place hasn’t been updated in many years.

Pet friendly — else we would have left. Breakfast bar is the pits… Filthy! Bed is hard and maid service this morning just threw up the covers and really didn’t even make the bed. No tub — just a shower. Coffee taste like water… go someplace else.

First thoughts? What a dump! Very bare bones Super 8. After checking in and getting settled by a fairly friendly front desk, I found the room to be clean… although outdated. I figure, it is what it is: A cheap hotel off the highway, close to gas stations and restaurants. If you’re planning an extended getaway definitely something better, but for one night it was doable for me.
