Taqueira La Parilla

I really like the restaurant! The food tastes excellent and you get a really good amount of food here with a fairly affordable price.

5 stars for their ceviche de tostada and fish taco.
Those are the only two items I order on the menu every time i come here, and I come here at least once every other week.
Ceviche is excellent. Acidity is on point, and it tastes very fresh. They use both fish and shrimp in their ceviche. Their ceviche is better than many of the Mexican restaurants on Buford hwy.
Their fish taco is, if not the best, one of the best I had so far. Better than the ones I ate at korean-​mexican fusion restaurants in Atlanta. They don’t use panko but their batter is so crispy!
Service here is great too. I haven’t had any problems so far.
I’ve ordered a few other things on the menu when I was trying this place out in the beginning but nothing stood out to me. I come only for the ceviche and fish taco.

I really liked the environment here. It has a fantastic bar and an extensive menu. A few large flat screen tv’s by the bar, but not too many. The food was pretty good and well priced. I dont think the Mexican food is special, but it’s definitely on par with any other Mexican restaurant in the area/​athens.
