Walmart Supercenter

Great selection in just about everything here and very clean. Had to stop by at 3:00am after our flight didn’t have our luggage so we had to buy clothes.

It’s a Walmart, right? What is there to review?
Well, this Walmart has one very important and unique characteristic: they have a very large section of UGA gear near the cash registers for half the price of what you might find in the on-​campus bookstore. Yes, I’m aware there’s probably a joke in there somewhere about Georgia fans shopping at Walmart, but I think it’s just smart to save a few bucks when I need a new Georgia t-​shirt, bumper sticker, or license plate cover. They also have plenty of non-​traditional UGA merchandise, such as the most comfortable «power G» pajama pants ever and Vineyard Vines knock-​off headbands.
The rest of it is a typical Walmart –crowded, dirty, excellent people watching, etc. But it’s easily accessible location off of 316 when leaving Athens and the excellent selection of UGA gear are what you should go for.

You know Walmart I’m sure. This particular Walmart I happen to go to rather often. It’s a nice store. Generally very clean and bright. The staff seem helpful. Well stocked. Ample parking. I’ll be back again.
