I’ve eaten here many times in the past. The food is always good, and the service is fast. It’s a great place to grab a quick meal or a beer after work. We just ate there, and they’ve changed pizza crust. The new crust is inconsistent. On one pizza there are places that are light and airy, and others that are a lump of firm dough. There’s no excuse for a bad pizza in a college town. I can’t recommend the pizza, but the buffalo chicken sub is great, and the salads are very good.

WG’s has to be one of my favorite sandwich shops. I would frequently visit the location on high street in Columbus and would be consistently impressed. This location on Ohio Universities campus in Athens brings back a lot of great memories of being on a college campus. The dining room is fairly large with amenities such as a bar and a pool table. Very cool. The food was just as good as I remembered. I had the Reuben grinder and my son had the grilled cheese grinder. The bread was fresh and toasted just right. So glad we stopped on our way back to Charlotte NC from Ohio. For those in Athens that have never been — shame on you! A must stop for anyone in the area.

What restaurant in this day and age(and in a college town nonetheless) has no way to see their menu online? I found a menu online but when I called to order I was told that what was online was a «corporate menu» and that they didn’t have the things I wanted. I asked where I could find their menu and was told that I had to come in, that the menu wasn’t available online anywhere. This makes no sense. They lost my business tonight and for as long as it is until I just happen to be nearby to pick up a paper menu. Oh and when they’ve delivered to our office the subs are frequently soggy as if they made them way ahead and they sat for a long time before being sent.
