This is by far the worst McDonalds on the planet… my order is wrong every time or they are out of something like cheese for example… how do you run out of cheese?! I realize it’s fast food but there should be standards and this place is lacking in all areas

We usually grab something occasionally through the Drive thru. This Sunday we decided on a budget breakfast inside. The staff was friendly and respectful to us and toward each other. I had a special request it was met. The inside was clean.

Went in at 11:30 and am happy to report the employees were attentive and polite, food was ready quickly and we’ll prepared and my order was correct. This trip was a huge improvement and while it wasn’t incredibly busy there was a steady flow of customers. Good to see progress here.

It’s mcdonalds. You get what you pay for. Couple of miles of of route 2 if you’re going because you saw the highway sign.

Let me begin with: When the food is made correctly, it’s Delicious! With that out of the way, it seems to me that our local Mc D’s is currently doing some major changes. Much needed changes. The late night staff tries to get out of doing their work. The late night menu goes until 4 am. But according to the staff, it is not. The Cashier started arguing with me telling me that I had no clue about the policies at this particular MD’s. They shut down the grills by at least 3:30 and refused to serve me what I ordered. The cashier first said: «We don’t serve that food after 12 pm», then I informed her that I had called ahead of time days before to check the rules and times of the menus. She told me I was incorrect. Then she stated«The cook already turned down the grill, and it takes too long to get it up to proper temperature» I then told her«I am here at 3:30 in the morning, do I look like I’m in a rush? I will wait for the grill to be turned up». She then stated«The cook already cleaned the grill off and does not want to have to re-wash the grill». I then told her, «HAVEHIMCLEANIT, ITTAKESTHREESECONDS!» She then told me: «We can not prepare the food you are requesting, because we already put it away». I disputed that. She then told me that I could not have french fries because they already turned down the oil, and they put the french fries baskets away and they only have hash brown baskets. She then stated that I was incorrect with all of my information and that she is tired of explaining it to me and that she was going to go get the manager to set me straight. By this time, 3:50, she comes out of his office and angrily told me «You can only order these three sandwiches, and if you want fries. you have to eat hash browns» Then as she was taking my order, she was angrily scolding me telling me that people like me make her angry and she’s tired of putting up with customers like me and that if i want to eat, then I should come earlier. She made sure we knew we were not wanted, and all I could do is think«please don’t spit in my food, I’ve seen that movie ‘Waiting’.» 3 out of 5 times I go to MD’s here in Athol, my food order is incorrect. And when it is, and you complain(like the glazed onions on the Bacon Club house) about something missing, they say«we ran out of it»(meaning they don’t want to prep any more), oh my favorite Sandwich is the bacon club house. Yet for some reason, the cooks don’t understand that BACON is supposed to be on the sandwich. The last time I went, I had 1 half piece of bacon and no glazed onions. I am glad they have people coming in and overhauling the store. It’s about time. I think the Staff needs to be trained better in, not only, Customer Service politeness, but how to make the food properly, how to pay attention to the slips when it’s a special order, and to train the window people in what is on the food(like asking for no tomatoes on the bacon club house, the person said«they don’t come with tomatoes». Then, I had tomatoes on it! Frustrating. I hope the new managers get their staff in line, or fire the people who don’t know what they’re doing. The bad employees are bringing down the MD’s.

While traveling down Route 2 we were a little hungry so we decided to stop in at this McDonald‘s. When we got off the highway the signs were a bit deceiving and it was farther away than we had hoped. After we finally did make it to this location, we were happy with our choice because we received good service and good food . The restaurant itself is large and it was nice that they had a double drive up. This location also had a playground which you don’t see often. The staff here was polite as well as quick and the food was delicious. Overall it was a decent place to stop and we are happy that we chose this location rather than the one a bit further up Route 2. Again, it would have been better if it was closer to the highway.
