Alex Package Store

A small packy near Oglethorpe, they make good use of their space. I thought they had a pretty nice selection of spirits, but I’m a weirdo and I could spend an hour looking at booze.

Ok… I am not one to usually write negative reviews but in this case I had too. I bought a bottle of liquor at this store and when I realized it was the wrong type I went in to return it. Normally I would have just exchanged it for another but they I did not have what I wanted. so I asked the clerk behind the counter if they could return the bottle of liquor and he told me they could not refund my money. They said it was a state regulation that they could not return money. After checking with a few other liquor stores I found out this to be untrue. This store is only out for themselves they do not provide good customer service and it is the second bad experience that I have had in the store and as many as two months. I have also discovered that the stores prices are about 10% higher than some of the stores right down the street I appreciate the convenience but due to bad customer service and higher prices I will not be returning. buyer beware!

Not as snazzy as Green’s or Tower but it’s convenient to Brookhaven and has good prices and friendly staff. For what it is, it suits me just fine. I wouldn’t go there for fine wine… but if you are looking for some beer before the game comes on, it’s just right.

Not as good as any other place you might hop into. Every year go in once and am reminded of that fact. Green’s and Tower are not that far away and try not to forget something.
