BAITANDSWITCH/FALSE LABELINGSCAM. This store deceptively mislabels prices(particularly on wine), as other Unilocalers have noted. Pay particular attention to the«recommendation/sale» racks by the register, especially if you are purchasing multiple bottles/bulk. Store employees will tell you that if you buy another bottle, you can get an X% off discount, and then gesture to the racks nearest the register. There will typically be 2 – 3 different kinds of wine on the racks, two that sell for under $ 20, and one that is incredibly expensive(upwards of $ 70 per bottle). The expensive selection will have an under $ 20 price tag sitting directly next to it — which will actually be a price tag for a different product, purposely set there by store employees(more on this in a second). This happened to me over the weekend while buying a half dozen bottles of wine. I was reading over my receipt as I walked outside the store(because it seemed a little higher than it should have been), and noticed that one of the bottles that was labeled $ 15.99 actually appeared as $ 85.00 on my receipt. I walked right back in(was waiting for an Über, so hadn’t even left the sidewalk out front) and asked them why I was charged $ 85 for a $ 16 bottle of wine, and the store clerk quickly grabbed the incorrect pricing label, pointed out that in the tiny store-code letters below it was actually for a different bottle of wine and must’ve been«misplaced» there — and pocketed the plastic label. They refused to give me a refund, exchange, or credit of any type, citing«state law» — but that maybe I could return later in the week to take it up with the owner. I’ll take it up with the Georgia Consumer Protection Unit and Alcohol Licensing Board instead.

I picked up some Everclear to get for a friend. Illegal in Cali so never had it before. I also grabbed some Temptation Kentucky Whiskey. I was impressed with the whiskey. It had the batch number and bottle on the label. Wasn’t too spicy, aged just right. Can’t say the staff is overly friendly or helpful, or at least not for me. Will return if I’m in the area.

Be very careful!!! I bought 2 bottles of Murphy-Goode Sauvignon Blanc because of the great value for a really good bottle of North Coast California wine. It runs anywhere from $ 9.99-$ 11.99 a bottle, usually on the lower end. It’s a good value for an every day drinking bottle of white. I’ve paid as little as $ 7.99 a bottle. They charged $ 19.99 a bottle! I tried to tell her that it had to be incorrect and she acted like I was an idiot. Stupid me paid anyway because I had food with me and was in a rush to have lunch and visit with my daughter who is home recuperating from surgery. I went to my Publix later that afternoon and the wine rep was there and he said I was ripped off. We love fine wines, have a large cellar in our home and don’t mind paying $$ for any wine. I just don’t like to be ripped off!!!

Red’s is definitely one of the nicer wine and liquor stores in the area. The store is very clean, organized and easy to move around. You do not feel crowded when looking for something because the isles are to close, as you will find in some of the other liquor stores in the area. The staff has always been helpful and are pretty knowledgeable on wines.

Despite shopping regularly at Kroger in the same shopping center, I hadn’t been to Red’s until last night. I was impressed by the selection of both wine and spirits as well as the prices. The staff were relaxed and polite. I will definitely be adding this to my stops for weekend errands, or anytime in decide I need a little something special after dinner in Buckhead.

This is my favorite wine shop in Brookhaven! I always get great advice from the wine manager Nishi. The service and selection has always been right on par, I always get a speedy checkout, the store is clean and organized, and everyone is super friendly. Every Saturday I shop at Kroger, get my nails done, and then swing by to see what new exciting things they have to suggest. You guys keep up the good work, you have a customer for life! –kristi

One of the best places in town to find unique wine and bourbon. The staff is well educated on the products and always willing to help you. Sure, the store is small but it’s well organized and neat and it beats having to walk through Alex’s parking lot.

Red’s 2 Spirits had only a very small inventory on a Tuesday evening. When I commented to the owner/manager she wanted to use football season as an excuse. She indicated a truck was coming Thursday. I also told her the store’s prices were higher than Greens. She told me to go shop at Green’s and to leave the store, even though I made a purchase. The owner/manager is young and does not know how to relate to customers. I would not recommend shopping here for any alcohol.

This liquor store is my favorite. The guys in there are always friendly and offer alternatives if you want to try something different than your usual. This place is small, but I prefer that so Im not overwhelmed by selection. I highly recommend Tito’s as it did not give me a hangover. Something that one of the guys there suggested. If they dont have the mixers you want, just walk next door to kroger.

My go-to wine shop in the area. There is one female that helps run it(I don’t know her name but she’s the only girl I’ve ever seen behind the counter there) who has AMAZING taste in wine. Just buy whatever she tells you to and you won’t be disappointed. While Tower has a wider selection, I find it to be overwhelming. This place is great because it has a pretty broad selection while still maintaining a very high average quality of wine.
