We had a great experience with Josh and some of his staff who came out to teach a self-defense class to women experiencing homelessness and some volunteers. The instructors were very professional, friendly and made the class as entertaining as it was effective. As first-timers, we learned a few simple moves, rather than a bunch of fancy moves that we might otherwise forget. Though I have been shy about attending a martial arts class, I have met many people who train at AKJ and they rave about the dojo and Sensei Moree. The approachability of the self-defense class, however, has piqued my interest in signing up for a regular class. Lastly, it speaks volumes about the dojo that four of them would come out to volunteer in the community on short notice. Thank you for this opportunity!

Although I do not train regularly at Atlanta Kyusho and Jujitsu, I have had the pleasure to attend a few seminars there. I would love to train regularly with Sensei Moree but live in Roswell so doing the drive regularly would be difficult. I come from a different background in martial arts(Yoshukai), so most of the things I was exposed to during the seminars were new to me. Sensei Moree and the other students were extremely helpful and patient with me. They made me feel very welcome, which is not always the case when visiting different styles of martial arts schools. He is a great teacher and explains techniques very well. AKJ incorporates different styles/disciplines in the training– which I think is excellent. If you are considering starting training in martial arts, I highly recommend AKJ. I am confident in saying you won’t regret the decision. Osu!
