This place sucks. Won’t come back to a place where they give you attitude. I was simply asking a question. Don’t forget, vortex is down the street.

They charge you a tip for doing what? Taking an order that the customer has to pick up themselves? With a self service drink machine and condiment bar? There are other waiters at different restaurants that work hard for their tips. Tables are dirty and wet. Leaking pipes. Attitude

I stopped here for a quick bite while out running errands. While the service was good and our food was ready fairly quickly, I wasn’t really impressed by the food. I had the sliders and the meat was pretty dry and bland. The fries were decent but I don’t expect anyone to actually mess up fries. That said, burger places are a dime a dozen in Atlanta so I’ll bypass this one in the future.

We came here because we were starving for juicy burger. We went in to check out there menu which seem confusing at first but after while you see its set up certain way. It was super busy the day we went but the line did go fast. I order a grill chicken sandwich which was so nice and juicy, you are welcome to add whatever you want on your burger. My sandwich very big so it took a while to eat. I order onion ring which were huge and very crunchy. The place is nice casual joint but it’s a little pricy for certain items like fries, I understand if certain burger prices are different due to the way it’s made. I did really enjoyed my grill chicken sandwich which was juicy and big.

The cashier was nice and friendly. Beyond that, skip this place. Four of us were looking for someplace to eat before Cirque Du Soleil. $ 46 for 4 people. Food was below average. I wish I had taken the time to read the review before taking our mothers to eat here before the show. AVOID.

Disappointing experience! Burgers without flavor. Blue cheese on wellington overpowers burger. Flavors on greek burger don’t go together. Shakes SUCK.

Being it’s a BURGERSPOT I’m only rating them on there burger. Not the employees, price or the fries. The burger was pretty good but not the best burger or even the top 5 but a good burger. They did not disappoint. I just had the The Burger. It was juicy and flavorful. The bread should have been on the grill but not a big deal. Was is a bit pricey? Maybe but if I wanted a cheap burger I would go to Burger King. I didn’t get the fries because I didn’t come there for that.

3.5 stars. I ordered the box and my burger was delicious but the fries not so much. Nice location in Atlantic Station allowing to people watch. Free parking for the first 2 hours. Located near the #5 escalator. Service is cooked per order.

I’ll edit the review later for the taste but right now they get a one out of five for service. Asked for just a burger and a water cup, got charged for a drink I didn’t order. Asked for my money back and the cashier didn’t know how so the manager just told him to give me, the customer, a dollar from the tip jar. The drink was $ 2.25. Probably never eating here again no matter how good the food is.

It was ok not all that great for the price. My burger was a little too chared to be medium. The onion rings where a little soggy and I ended up just eating the batter. Probably would not eat it again… not bad but not great either

I’ve heard great things about this place. So needless to say I was extremely disappointed when I experienced less than greatness. Now the burger was actually OK. Nothing to write home about, but good. I got mine free with purchase of a drink and side, because I had a birthday coupon. What I really hated was the fact that one of the employees who seemed like she could be shift manager or something comparable. Not certain though. She was handling the cashier, who seemed to be new, and was so rough with him. She belittled him to the point of me feeling embarrassed for him. I’m not certain of the situation, but she could’ve pulled him aside. She just spoke to him so horribly. If not for that event, I would’ve rated 2 stars higher, but my taste buds were so rudely interrupted and distracted by that scenario. So… yeah.

Torn between 2* and 3* here. Overall, right at a 2.5*. Details — 2* because this place is expensive! Color me shocked when my bacon cheeseburger and fries totaled at $ 11 and change! Huh? Oooh, that’s because a side of fries is $ 2.49(what?) and whatever else for the bacon up charge. My bad– I ordered it without carefully reviewing the menu board/prices, but I do think there’s a little deceptive advertising based on posted«base» prices then what all else adds on top… Cooked to order would give me towards a 4* bent — BUT — this is a disadvantage when you’re in a tiny bit of a hurry AND the kitchen staff is not working at full pace. Note to mgt: when customers can see your staff listening to phones/i-whatevers and not promptly pushing through orders… not so cool. The burger was a good med rare(even though I had to get it to go and couldn’t enjoy sitting down as planned) and the fries are thin and crispy. But — $ 11+? For a regular size burger– a la chain terms v restaurant terms!- with cheese and bacon, and fries… not on the regular!

This was a spontaneous lunch with my sister because we had to catch a movie. The menu was appealing and she being a vegetarian saw the veggie burger so we decided to eat here. I got the wellington which had blue cheese, mushrooms and some other stuff. and it was pretty ok, not fantastic. I was rather unimpressed because a lot of people who came in after us got their food before us, and after we waited 20 minutes, I walked up to the bar to see what looked like the manager just chilling on his phone while they were semi-busy, and my food was coincidentally coming out, so I guess they sensed my impatience at that point. But I wasn’t impressed here.

This place is disgusting and run by a bunch of ghetto people with major attitudes. Maybe try hiring people who give a damn and will actually lift a finger to clean once in a while. The broom hasn’t been brought out in what looks like days and the tables are all disgusting. The storage system they use for meat is questionable at best and just begging to give people food poisoning. There are 4 to 5 other restaurants in Atlantic station to go to that are better than this place. To top it all off, they locked the doors at 840 so we were locked in!!! Some people who ventured in before the doors were locked were told sorry we’re no longer taking orders. This is truly the worst restaurant I’ve been to in Atlanta. BTW did I forget to mention…40 minutes for a burger at a fast food restaurant is INSANE! How in the world is this place still in business??? Shut it down and give another competent business owner a chance.

I visited this place prior to going to the movies at Atlantic Station. I had the box set with bacon, fried egg and american cheese with a side of asparagus fries. It was good. The place was very basic and we did wait a bit for the food to come out. It is a good place to get in and out quickly before a movie or in between stops for shopping at Atlantic Station.

I stopped in for lunch a couple months ago and while there wasn’t anything inherently awful, the place screams mediocre. It’s your typical quasi-fast food situation, but there’s a definite lacking in quality and the service is miles from stellar — more perfunctory than anything. The food took longer than I would have hoped considering I didn’t want my burger well done and there wasn’t a crowd in front of me. I think 30 minutes is a bit much to wait at a place like that. When it did come, I felt the expectations being dashed and the disappointment rising. All I wanted was a good burger. It wasn’t the worst I’ve had by far, but it didn’t taste fresh and there was absolutely no seasoning beyond what I added except for a salty filler in the meat. It came with a mountain of fries which can be described as above average, but terribly greasy. I found myself eager to finish and leave. I wanted to like this place, but I didn’t and while I’m always up for giving something another try, I can say honestly that I won’t return any time soon.

We checked out the menu on the board and decided to split a beef burger and also try the veggie burger. I also wanted to checkout the hot dog so we decided to split that and I ordered fries and Melanie ordered onion rings. We ordered and got our drinks. They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine(which I love), and I got a Diet Coke Lime. Bad decision, it was horrible. I ended up with a Sprite Zero Cherry and it hit the spot. Our food soon arrived and I cut both burgers in half with a knife. The fries were unimpressive and obviously dropped right out of the freezer bag and into the fryer. The same token, for $ 4 we got 5 onion rings of varying sizes from the size of your fist down to the size of a silver dollar. The beef burger wasn’t bad but there was nothing that screamed«best burger in Atlanta» to me. Hey, it’s a $ 6 burger and you get exactly what you pay for. The veggie burger just tasted like a mouthful of rice. It was dry and devoid of any flavor. The hot dog was the redeemer here. Big, beefy and tasted like the grill. If you go to BGR The Burger Joint, get the hot dog. BGR The Burger Joint isn’t bad, it’s average but who wants to eat average food? We want spectacular, right? The search continues. If you’re at Atlantic Station and looking for your typical burger, you might like BGR The Burger Joint. As for us, we’ll keep looking for something better. Guten appetit.

After a shopping trip at Atlantic Station for a Friday lunch break, my coworkers and I decided to grab a quick bite at a place we’ve all never tried before – The Burger Joint. When we arrived, there were barely any patrons in the restaurant so we thought we were lucky to beat the lunch crowd and quick be in and out. Boy, were we wrong. The ordering process was fairly efficient. There’s a large menu posted on the wall, but when you walk to the counter, you see a sign for their Box Set special, available Monday — Friday. For less than $ 10, you get a burger, regular fries or side salad, and a soda. What a bargain! I ordered, grabbed my soda, and sat patiently waiting for my food. My coworkers and I started noticing the line growing longer and longer, and perhaps they were short staffed or not efficient, but our orders took at least 20 minutes before being called. Our orders took so long that one of my coworkers had to eventually request her meal to go as she would be late for a meeting. When my food was finally called, I really enjoyed it. The burger was hot, fresh, tasty and delicious and the fries were also very, very tasty! Aside from the wait, my only other qualm about this place is the sauce and drink station, awkwardly positioned in the area people pick up their food. The area is cramped and hard to maneuver, and I had to wait for two people to finish grabbing everything they needed before I could sneak my way in to grab a straw as there is no way all of us would fit in there. Other than that, the food was good and the staff is friendly. Not sure that I would return here for lunch, but I’d definitely go back at some point.

Pretty much BGR is a typical burger place found in Atlantic Station that you can grab a quick burger from… There’s nothing exceptional or different about them than most burger places… When we walked in the first thing I noticed was the smell of the frying oil… it almost makes you think they were using old oil, and I was worried about ordering something fried, but the fried foods were the things that came out decent. I ended up ordering the veggie burger and onion rings and my friend ordered their strange turkey burger and fries. I was upset I didn’t look at the pictures online because I would’ve seen that they serve ginormous onion rings, which I’m not overly fond of. They gave us buzzers so we could pick our food up from the counter. They also have the awful coke freestyle machine(I detest those machines) so you can choose whatever soda you want. When my buzzer went off and I got up to go get my food… I scrapped my chair on the floor… and Oh my freaking crap… never scrap your chair on the floor… the noise is terrible. Anyway I get my food and notice a sauce on my burger… I asked what was it, and the guy behind the counter says bbq sauce, I’m like really. And he says it was on the menu… and I know I’m looking confused, because he asks was I okay with the bbq sauce and I tell him yeah it’s fine. But just to make sure I wasn’t crazy I went to check the giant menu board again and nowhere under the veggie burger description do I see bbq sauce coming on the burger… So I was glad I wasn’t crazy and also glad the bbq didn’t taste bad so I forgave their odd slip up. After my friend gets her food… and stacks my onion rings… because at first they were laid out on my tray like crop circles, we dig in… I stare at my friend’s turkey burger… it was unusually pale and weird looking, but we chalked that up to the cheese and mushrooms mixed in with the meat… She said the taste was okay, but that is one of the most unappealing looking burgers I’ve ever seen. So everything tasted okay(including my veggie burger with the crispy charred edges), but we were a bit unhappy that our burgers were only lukewarm compared to our super hot fried foods. I think someone messed up on the timing of the orders because I’d prefer a much hotter burger to fries any day. And their practice of stabbing the tickets to the burger is a turn off… how many hands has touched that ticket and where has it been placed that you stab it to the top of my bun that’s going in my mouth. So if we ever go back here(and that’s kinda doubtful) since I know they do this… I’ll ask that they not stab my ticket to the top of my food… placing it on the side works just as well. So overall… it was just an okay experience. We only came here to try something different in Atlantic Station, and we didn’t have much time before our movie. And like I said, we may or may not come back… It probably was new staff and that’s why there were some kinks to our visit, but either way… It wasn’t great, but it was awful either… so I’ll just remain in the middle on this joint.
