Nothing worse than a rude drive through employee cutting up with a manager who is just as bad as the employee. I’ll spare them my awful review.

Krystal is one of those places you pass anywhere and kinda sorta don’t really notice. It’s like the shy cousin of the fast food world. And I’ve passed a bajillion in my lifetime and never noticed that the cousin serves breakfast. Turns out, there are a lot of items on the breakfast menu and the food is quite good. It’s not West Egg or such but I found the made-to-order breakfast tasty, and quite the bargain at $ 4.99 for what you get — choice of three eggs cooked any way, toast or biscuit, sausage and/or bacon(no upcharge it you want a piece of each) and grits or kryspers(or whatever they call hash browns, and they are in fact kryspy). I was particularly happy that not only do they use real eggs but they are made just for you, and my scrambled ones were good. If you don’t want a full bfast, there are all kinds of options like breakfast chicks, or sausage and egg chicks etc. And they have icees! The knock off kind but still delicious on a summer morning. Yum.

I had a coupon for a free cheesy Krystal with purchase. I went in and ordered and they left the free burger off the tray. The Crystals were good but the fruits were old and not appetizing. Then one of the employees came into the dining room to eat loudly. Sounds like something stuck in her teeth as she sucking and sucking trying to free what ever it was. Disgusting. Then she gets on the phone to talk to someone with her mouth full of her burger. So not appetizing. Note to self — leave the Midtown Krystal off the list.

HORRIBLE!!! Customer service has declined to the level of deplorable! Asked to dine in but was given breakfast to go! Food came out cold; complained about it to manager and he copped an attitude! Never again!!!

Krystal finally came back to Dallas a few years ago and then POOF! it went away again. Had to get my fix. Love the breakfast cups, burgers and chicken sandwiches. Please come back, Krystal!

Krystal’s is a Southern staple and much like White Castle easy on the wallet for meal or snack. This one does not disappoint in the swiftness of the drive thru despite being merely a skeleton staff inside. Posted on the window next to the drive thru was their health score, 100 A. Impressive and by peeking through the windows appears fairly earned as everything is in order, neat, clean, and shiny. Food arrived hot and fresh after a brief wait. As ever Krystal does disappoint with tiny delicious burgers on freshly steamed buns! Just don’t let your eyes exceed your stomach they don’t earn the nickname ‘gut-bombs’ for no reason. Totally worth a short ride for simple and good food if your in the area or out late.

«In fact, just thinking about those tender little White Castle burgers with those little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in your mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one…» — Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle(2004) There is no WC in Atlanta, in fact the closest is in Nashville. So for us, if you want a little square burger, we go to Krystal. Please note, there is no S at the end of their name. Sometimes you just crave those little burgers. This is one of two locations somewhat convenient to me and they do a decent job being quick to serve and doling out a decent product. There is rarely a line in the drive thru(in 15 years I don’t think I have ever walked into this location), but if there is they are quick to dispense of it. The ladies in the window are always so friendly and wish you a blessed day as they hand you your bag of squareness. This location never seems to salt the fries though; not sure what that is about.

Not always reliable, but not so inconsistent that it’s kept me away. Westside Krystal has two distinct advantages over the nearby fast food competition: 1. They’ve got free Wi-Fi(they were the first to offer it). 2. They’re open 24⁄7. You also can’t beat 4 Krystal burgers for $ 2.84. That equates to 71 cents per Krystal. Are they for real? For the uninitiated, a «Krystal» is a tiny, square burger with a measly meat patty, chopped onion, mustard, and a pickle inside a fluffy, steamed bun. You can down one of these suckers in 2 – 3 bites. Because of their small size, you’ll probably need to eat several to satisfy your hunger. That’s why Krystal offers a «Sackful» of 12 and a «Steamer Pack» of 24. Catching a whiff of those steamed buns is not necessarily a pleasant thing. Sometimes, it can be downright repulsive. The buns also have a propensity for getting soggier faster. Each Krystal is served in its own white carton. When I visit, I usually order some of those or some«pups,» which are miniature hot dogs. The Chili Cheese Pup is my favorite as it comes loaded with greasy chili and melted shredded cheese. Like the Krystals, you’ll probably end up ordering at least a few. The pups are served in Styrofoam containers and are incredibly messy to eat. The fries here are pretty ordinary unless you spruce them up with chili, cheese, and ranch dressing. On their own however, they’re not the best. I still prefer McDonald’s fries when it comes to judging fast food fries all by themselves. I’ve never had a problem with the service here, both dine-in and drive-thru. Inside and out, this isn’t the cleanest or nicest looking Krystal. It can be a bit sketchy. Depending on what time of day(or night) you visit, you can run into some very interesting characters here.

Not going to lie, I was really disappointed in my last three visits here. The staff members were not that nice and they were pretty slow with the food. 2⁄3 times they really had attitudes as well. I do appreciate they are open 24⁄7 and have free wifi — but I had to ask three times for the wifi to be turned on because it wasn’t turned on and the manager was not listening to me. It would be great to see more action and speed here at this location.

Who doesn’t crave a sackful or two of Krystals after a night of partying??? No one I know, for sure! We hit this target after a long night of partying and reliving the 80’s at the Poison/Motley Crue concert Sunday night. Hot stank leather, sweat and rock and roll makes me hungry! We hit this drivethru at just the right moment(no one in front of us), grabbed our sackfuls and chili cheese fries from a rather friendly employee and hit the road. Sweet, right!!! As we left, I noticed the 80 health score hanging on the window, and now I’m wondering if the stomach pain I had the next day was a hangover or the Krystals… Not that it would keep me away from my beloved sackful on the next night out.

It’s raining now in Midtown, and the power is out from Piedmont to West Peachtree South of 10th street. Various places around the area that still have power have crowded bars and reservation-only dining. I, however, am in the cozy confines of this Krystal, having just finished my meal and enjoying the free Wi-Fi. In addition to being open 24 hours a day, having the aforementioned free Wi-Fi, and tasty quick eats, this Krystal also boasts a manager who, when I forgot to order a hot apple turnover, threw one in for free. Four solid stars!

Gotta have a Krystals. My stomach was growling something awful and I had to get something in my quickly, because I woke and felt like the vodka shots were still sitting on my stomach. This Krystals drive thru is prompt and my order is always correct. I take my Krystals with cheese and no onions. Check I like my Coke with little ice Check.‘ Fast service and these little burgers will help keep your liquor in check.

My knight in shining armor. Always there when I need them(and fortunately not as often as you’d think). Leaving Swinging Richard’s late at night usually requires a few things. Other than a designated driver, the next most important thing is something to eat. Enter Krystal. Within moments I’m able to satisfy my late night cravings. Usually 2 Krystal Chiks with no pickle, add mustard, 1 regular Krystal, and then something exotic like those new deep fried cake balls with powered sugar. I’m sure there’s a better name for them, but I don’t remember. The homeless can get kind of annoying, especially once you make eye contact. Just tell them you don’t have a job. They seem to understand and become empathetic to your situation. I think you could also call that a mind fuck, but I digress… #Yelp365 — 48⁄365

I grew up on white castles. I moved to Georgia and they have Krystals. I tried to eat it and I didn’t like it. It is nothing like white castle. I have to go to the super markets like Kroger and Publix and buy it out of the freezer section. A true white castle lover could never eat a nasty tasting Krystal burger.

What can I say, I’m a Krystal Junkie. This is the Krystal of my dreams, 1 mile from my house, fast service, crispy fries, and fountain drinks that are right on the taste. Was in and out in less than 2 minutes. This krystal rocks and is convenient to most late night happenings. My highest recommendation(for fast food)!

Krystal burgers are small, about 2 inches square. They have a sliver of a burger patty, some mustard, a pickle and optionally, cheese. In these ways, yes, its similar to a White Castle Burger. BUTTHEYARENOTTHESAME, ITISBLASPHEMOUSTOMAKESUCH A CLAIM. Krystal could never hope to replicate the bliss one gets when eating a White Castle. I dream of White Castle at night. White Castle buns are less doughy and they have a very tasty Dusseldorf mustard(the likes of which I have YET to find in any store down south) while Krystal Burgers have doughy rolls and use plain yellow mustard. I don’t want to dump on Krystal too much, or make this whole review about White Castle… I really do like Krystal, and here’s three quick reasons why: 1. They have a great overall menu. I love their chili cheese pups(mini chili dogs) and corn pups(mini corn dogs) 2. Especially nice is the fact that you can substitute tasty sides like the chicken bites for their bland fries in combo meals. 3. Almost all Krystal locations are open and serve burgers 24 hours a day. Great for those late-night hunger attacks, or burgers for breakfast. Mmmm.

Looking for White Castle’s in Georgia? Well there is no such thing as White Castle in Georgia. However, there is hope; Krystal is the closest thing to White Castle. Open 24 Hours, Krstyal is best known for its bite sized hamburgers and cheeseburgers. If you pass one at midnight, there will most likely be a line in the drive thru. Beyond the burgers Krsytal offers chick sized sandwiches, breakfast, regular sized burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs and desserts. Unlike other fast food joints, Krystal restaurants also offer free WiFi. Go figure. Who would have thought you could browse the net and eat a burger and fries at the same time? For the Krystal location nearest you visit .
