Zero service, sat for ten minutes with nobody stopping by. The table next to me was sat and served immediately. What a joke

I don’t know why this place only has 3 stars! I go here with friends all the time and it is a little pricey for chicken but the sides are delicious and the sauces unique(barbecue and wasabi). I love to sit outside and people watch at Atlantic Station before a movie. I recommend this place for brunch!

My wife and I will not be eating here again. The service was average, but the food was terrible. We ordered wings, fries, and a chicken pita. The chicken on the pita was tough, and lacked flavor. The sauce on the pita was the only thing that could have potentially saved it. The fries were cold, soggy, and greasy. Having worked in food service for nearly 9 years, I know that they HAD to have been siting out of the oil for at least 10 minutes before being served to us. The wings were terrible as well. Imagine you ordered buffalo wings somewhere, couldn’t finish them all, and let a few sit on your plate. You know how they get a little darker in color, and the coater gets a mushy texture? Well now you know exactly how the wings are at this place. And to top it all off, they’re way over-priced for the portions you get.

Service at this overpriced chicken joint is pretty atrocious. I’m not sure why it isn’t an order at the counter kindof place, but it really should be. While I’m sure our server is a decent human being, she really needs to up her serving game. I ordered a Greek grilled chicken pita with a side of Brussels sprouts, but what I got was a $ 12 cold chicken salad clump on top a flat bread. I wouldn’t say it was undelicious, but definitely didn’t fill me with food emotions from my toes to my head. The Brussels sprouts were average, could have been cooked a minute longer and seasoned better. All of my dinning companions were equally disappointed in their overpriced chicken meals. I have no plans to return to this establishment for the rest of my lifetime. Do yourself a favor and just eat at Zaxby’s if you want chicken tenders.

Meh. That’s all I can say about this place. I’m weary of looking for somewhere decent to eat in Atlantic Station, just because of their typical clientele doesn’t ask for much in the way of being wowed. It’s mainly an area where people go if they just got paid and want to be seen, or something, i dunno. Anyways my wife and some friends and I were meeting to see a movie premier and we just wanted a place that was at the very least good. Shitty-Bitty(sorry I couldn’t resist) was not it. Took a while to get our order taken, the food was way over priced and under-sized. And it was very bland. I got the chicken and cheese waffle, which I was cautiously optimistic of because I like c&w and they labeled it as a «signature» and it was priced at 16 $ so I figured I had a decent chance. Nope. Tiny chicken fingers, bland not cheesy at all waffle made for a poor excuse at c&w. Wife got the chicken pita which was like a chicken salad slider. TL;DR: save your money and go to five guys or if you really want chicken get it from the movie theatre. 2stars because it’s not Taco Mac.

We had a movie première at AMC Atlantic Station and needed to grab a quick bite to eat so it was perfect that Chik-a-Biddy is literally right across the street from the theater. I thought the restaurant was very trendy looking on the inside. I loved the cute menus with sections like, «Big ol’ Biddies». How cute and clever? LOL Well let me say that while we enjoyed our meal, the service left something to be desired. I was dining with my wife, mom and sister and we mentioned when we sat down that we only had an hour to eat. We didn’t think that would be a problem since there were only two tables occupied at the time of our arrival and throughout our meal. Plus we ordered within five minutes of sitting down. Unfortunately, our waiter forgot a couple of the items we ordered. In fact, one of the items we repeated to him on two different occasions when he visited our table and he still forgot both times. Plus, everything took a really long time to come out: the food, the drinks, the check. The food I enjoyed though. I’m a big chicken and waffles fan and I pretty much order them whenever I find them on the menu. I ordered the signature combo which comes with a signature waffle(Bourbon pecan, Bacon, Cinnamon Roll, Red Velvet) and your choice of either two bone-in pieces of chicken or three chicken tenders. I chose the cinnamon roll waffle with two bone-in pieces of chicken. The waffle is HUGE so be prepared to be full! It had a different texture than any waffle I’d ever eaten, but it was delicious. Seriously, so good! But it was so big I could barely finish it. I wanted to take half my meal with me but since we were walking over to the theater I was unable to. I also enjoyed the chicken. I liked knowing that it’s farm fresh and it tasted really fresh and crispy. Overall, Chik-a-Biddy is a great concept and even more delicious food with reasonable prices but man the service cold use some work.

YUM!!! Seriously amazing! This place is located in Atlantic Station right by the movies. Parking is free for the first two hours. The service was great and the food was even better. Went with a friend and everything sounded good… so obviously ate everything! Had the Bourbon Pecan waffle, the Thai Chili and Marinated Piri Piri wings, and the Chili Cheese Fries… everything was DELICIOUS. Definitely going back soon!

Unfortunately I have to dock a star for my most recent visit to Chick-a-Biddy. We again sat at the bar, but the service and food was not what we expected based on our last visit. We ordered a beer, which the bartender forgot about. The side items didn’t seem as fresh. brussels were soggy and brown. I still enjoyed the chicken sandwich, but the tenders and and sides had me leaving feeling less excited about the place than our last visit.

Despite Chick-a-Biddy’s convenient location in Atlantic Station I would steer away from this restaurant. Our food was over priced, dry, and cold. The server was not the friendliest, and the overall experience we had there was just bad. If you are in the area, go somewhere else.

Appaling. Fish taco was plain flavorless fish, lettuce and mayo. Fried chicken was chicken and flavorless batter. The only thing I liked was avocado dip(avocado and lime– I mean you can’t go wrong there really) Moreover, they are understaffed on chefs.

Very BURNT, DRY, and COLD waffles. My girlfriend and I go out to eat every meal and couldn’t believe the awful experience we had at Chick-a-Biddy. We went over our lunch hour today and figured the food would be good and the service, quick. Our experience was completely the opposite. Upon arrival, we paid an hour for the parking meter out front, since there wasn’t a crowd. When we entered this«country-like» restaurant, they were playing LOUD rap music with the bass BOOMING. We ordered the chili cheese fries and asked for a side of ranch. The chili cheese fries were getting cold while we waited for the ranch that never came. Also, the cheese sauce they use on the fries has a very gritty texture to it. We thought they were just having a bad day with the appetizer and we were still looking forward to a good entrée. …45min later the entrée’s arrived(so much for getting back to work at a reasonable time). The chicken sandwich was decent but the meat was thinner and dryer than a single patty on a McDonald’s cheeseburger. I liked the toppings, and they helped mask the dryness of the chicken. The best part of the meal was the Brussels sprouts. My girlfriends chicken and waffles entrée was so obviously BURNT, DRY, and COLD, that I couldn’t believe they served it. It was the driest waffle I’ve ever had in my life, drinking water at the same time helped it go down. I have NEVER seen a restaurant serve food that blatantly over-cooked. She knew we didn’t have time to wait another 45min for a replacement, and proceeded with trying the«special sauce». It was VERYSOUR and she thought it was expired. We couldn’t believe the experience worsened, and brought the sauce to the waitresses attention. She went to the back and tried it, then returned to admit that they forgot to add an ingredient. I assume it was sugar OR it really was soured cream cheese. Do yourself a favor and skip this place; Otherwise you’ll waste your money, A LOT of time waiting for food, and you’ll get a parking ticket if you don’t put at least 1.5hrs on the meeter. I still can’t get over the sour sauce and how incredibly burnt and cold the waffle was. I will remember the experience and share it with my friends, because it was almost comical going through the events that occurred. Never again.

Day: Saturday Brunch! [10:30a-3:00p] Parking: First two hours are free in the Atlantic Station parking deck. Try to park close to the movie theater since it’s across the street. Wait time: Pretty lengthy wait time to be seated but since it was two of us we just grabbed seats at the bar. Food & such: The chicken and waffles [Apprx $ 12] was pretty good. We ended up getting a bottle of house champagne and made mimosas. Not sure if that will be added to the brunch menu or not but that’s all that is missing.

Our group of nearly ten chose Chick-a-Biddy for dinner primarily due to its proximity to the movie theater across the street, but also because it’s chicken and everyone likes chicken(clearly there were no vegetarians in our bunch!). I ordered the chicken tenders basket for $ 13.50. This contained five tenders with your option of dipping sauce(I picked BBQ over wasabi honey), and two sides from the extensive side menu. Prior to ordering, I had settled on the braised Brussels sprouts but was crushed to learn that Chick-a-Biddy was out of them. They were also out of the spicy collard greens which luckily was not my second side choice. I went with the mashed potatoes and the spinach & quinoa tabouli salad. Most of the folks at my table went with the creamy mac n’ cheese. The sides were more stellar than the tenders, I thought. The chicken tenders were all right, nothing thrilling. The meat verged on being slightly dry. The BBQ sauce was good though, not too sweet or spicy. The mashed potatoes were more like smashed potatoes. If you like skin, you’ll dig these potatoes. They were not super creamy, but they were at the right level of flavor, and a little melted cheddar on the top added extra pizzazz. The spinach & quinoa salad was awesome as well, with lots of fresh spinach leaves. Maybe could have used a bit more quinoa but no complaints really. Chick-a-Biddy isn’t full of wow, but it’s okay. This was the general consensus among our table of nine. I wouldn’t make a special trip just for this place, but if I were in the area and friends wanted to go, I wouldn’t be violently opposed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Carrie Neal W for lunch here on a nice day. I’ve been to the Bantam & Biddy location near Ansley Mall before, so I figured Chick-a-Biddy would be a faster-casual version. Truth be told, they’re about the same except that Chick-a-Biddy’s menu is smaller. I had the cheddar waffle with chicken tenders. I really like their wasabi honey, so that requesting that is an additional 50 cents. The waffle wasn’t as cheesy as I thought it would be, but it’s a thick, fluffy waffle. Chicken tenders may seem a little small at first but it might be that I’m used to gargantuan, hormone-injected chicken tenders from other restaurants. These were good and there’s peace of mind that I made a «healthy» choice, even if it was chicken and waffles. Service was ok, I think they were still trying to pull things together when I asked for a table coming in at 11:30. Outdoor seating is nice on a cool day and it’s covered too. I’d probably come back for another chicken and waffle combination if I’m craving it.

There’s this girl I know, first from Unilocal and now in person. We can both get our snark on but we are truly sweet people. Promise. I know this because said girl, Carolina M(btw, it’s pronounced Caro-leen-a, not Caro-lie-na, just sayin’ with the name stuff and all) and I finally got our food on at Chick-a-Biddy. I really like the Bantam & Biddy at Lenox(ooh, those grits!) and def like this Doty outpost. There’s a nice patio — this time of year, definitely sit outside when there’s a breeze!- and it’s a cool casual place in general(I love the old school diner-esque vibes of the inside booths). Frankly, looking at the menu online, and what I’d order and prices — I thought — «well, sadly, $ 14 for a salad(with a protein) at a restaurant isn’t out of the ball park these days… but it better be good!» If I can get the big one with chicken at Panera for $ 11 with a drink… or at Publix for $ 6.99…or the really good one I make at home for… But, dining out — I would say their Southern Cobb Salad is worth it. All the good stuff, and the grilled chx comes on a skewer! For some reason, I smiled at that. Mixed greens(love– no crappy iceberg or some kind of faux mix — this was legit) and all the good stuff from egg, bacon, cheese… y’all know. Big and filling. If you like this type of salad, I endorse theirs. Carolina got the chx and waffles and enjoyed– a comfort food type dish, but I don’t think she liked it just because she is getting over a cold! The waffle looked perfectly crispy/not — if that makes sense — and the fried chx looked very good. I can’t verify — I didn’t ask her for a bite because it was our first lunch date and all. On the whole– I wish the menu was bigger and with more choices. The lunch special isn’t a bad deal($ 9.95 for ¼ chx, side, drink or chx sandwich with side, or 3 side option plate), and I’d love to try their mac-n-cheese(based on the grits at B&B) but there really aren’t healthy side choices. Other than the salad options, and maybe doing an a la carte kinda thing, it’s not a place to go if you are health-conscious and also savvy about ordering. Service is decent — semi– slow, but that’s what I expect anywhere at Atlantic Station. Bottom line– I like chicken, I like the place and being a regular visitor to AS… A-OK.

I ate here with my boss a couple months ago and while I can’t say anything was lacking, I wouldn’t go out of my way to rave about it either. It definitely met expectations. If I could, I would probably give it 3.5 stars instead of just 3, but it wasn’t 4-star either. I had a fried chicken sandwich with a side of Brussels sprouts. The sandwich was juicy and the flavoring was good, but the spices were dull and there wasn’t anything that stood out about it. Even the pickles weren’t above average. If I were at Chick-Fil-A instead of Chick-a-biddy, I would have been impressed, but this wasn’t priced like Chick-Fil-A. It wasn’t overpriced for a sit-down restaurant at Atlantic Station, but for what I got, I didn’t see it as a good value. The service wasn’t bad, but wasn’t memorable by any regard either — literally — I can’t remember the service. I’ve been told that they have certain items that are worth going for, but I’m not a fan of restaurants which force your choices to a narrower range than what’s on the menu. Why have the other things on the menu then? I realize that not everything can be the proverbial ‘best thing on the menu,’ but they should be good enough to bring me back. Alas, I digress. I think I might return to Chick-a-biddy one of these days, but I haven’t yet. If I had to put a period on this review, I would simply say: ‘needs spunk.’

Pretty loud so not a place to relax but great for chicken tenders. A little retro style décor with a full bar and friendly staff. Our group ordered three chicken tender baskets with varying sides. The hand cut French fries were perfect. I had the spicy collard greens too. They were good but not very spicy and the wasabi dipping sauce for the tenders was sweet, being more like honey with a hint wasabi. My friends tried the mac ‘n cheese and thought is was nice and creamy and had good flavor. The Brussel sprouts came grilled and also very good. The baskets with two sides is a hearty portion and easily can be shared by two. We did have one issue… One of our baskets came with a long black hair. Our server was very apologetic and corrected the problem promptly.

I’ve been there 3 times, all before going to see a movie, and I’ve left happy(enough) each time. Had to try their signature dish, chicken and waffles. I opted for some chicken fingers, and they were decent but not good, maybe a hair too salty. The waffle itself was better, good but not great. It tasted lighter/fluffier compared to, say a Waffle House waffle. My main problem is the price. My combo was $ 16. If it was a few bucks less, I think it would be just right for the quality you get. However, one dish that is good bang for your buck is their wings. I got the 6 for $ 6 one night because I wasn’t feeling too hungry. I asked for Thai Chili flavor, and it was really good. Heat was just right, not scorching. For the Ambiance checkboxes on this site, I think Casual and Touristy are the perfect way to describe Chick-a-Biddy. I mean, no one’s coming to Atlantic Station just for the food. We go there to shop or see movies(or workout), and the food has to be just good enough to keep you from driving somewhere else. The interior has good natural lighting, walls painted with white and assortment of yellows. Service has been good each time, whether I had a booth or sat at the bar. I was well taken care of, and the staff was friendly. I feel like it’s the definition of a 3-star place. If it was my only option in the shopping center, I’d be OK with that. I could certainly do a lot worse. But I would also hope that I could do better, especially if I’m paying twice as much as fast food options that I’m passing up.

Nice space and a nice place to have lunch before a movie. It wasn’t busy at all when I was there a cold Monday. Piri-piri wings are very tasty but not spicy, something I guess I expect with piri-piri in the name. That variety of chile is medium hot. The wings were also a little undercooked. To my liking, more of the fat should have been rendered. I do like the piri-piri treatment even without spiciness, so maybe I’ll try the ½ chicken option on the menu. The fried chicken calls to me, though. Mac & cheese — creamy style. Not bad but it isn’t something to rave about. Spicy collard greens — also good, but also not spicy. Maybe they could be drained a little more? As is, it was almost like collard green soup. Tasty collard green soup. With all three, I have something negative to write, but that doesn’t tell the story. Overall I like Chick-a-Biddy’s food, at least the few items I tried. I’ll be back, maybe for my next movie! Very friendly, attentive service.
