Classic Design Services was recommended to hang the artwork in our firm by our interior designer (who, granted, hadn’t used them in a few years). After setting up an appointment on a Saturday morning, and receiving an email confirmation, no one showed up. I attempted to call/​email several times with no response. After 1 ½ hours waiting, I emailed them and told them not to bother to show up.

Primary contact in Atlanta was extraordinarily rude and offensive. After planning two moves with her (furnishings from one house going to two locations) she abruptly cancelled one of the moves and left us in the lurch! Although we didn’t realize it at the time, we are so grateful she did so!
The furnishings they did end up moving came out damaged! It appears that my furniture got wet as a bronze table came out with black spots and my white couch came out with brown stains in the corner. I’ve reported it but haven’t heard anything from them.
We ended up hiring other movers for the move she bailed from and the move was spotless.
I’ll never hire them again.

I didn’t even use them, but they seem incapable of returning a phone call to return a phone call to set up an appointment. I have almost 5000 square feet of house and part of it would have to be stored with them while I transition to a new home. They just lost a big job.

Incapable of following even the simplest instructions. They’ve damaged my clients walls, delivered damaged furniture, shown up at client homes without calling first, etc.
It may have been a good delivery company at one time… but it has gone downhill. Of the 10 deliveries they have done for my clients…9 have been screwed up in some way. You do NOT want to trust any expensive pieces to these people. It’s sad they get so much business in Atlanta… they definitely do not deserve it.
I will rent a U-​haul and deliver furniture myself before I ever use Classic again.

Full Story: I ordered a sleeper sofa and loveseat online from Coleman Furniture, who Classic Design does Atlanta area deliveries for. I live in an older apartment and there is a really tight turn in the entryway. On the first delivery attempt the two guys tried getting the sleeper sofa in but couldn’t make the turn. The guys tried several different times but couldn’t get it to fit. A couple days later they sent out another team with three guys, still no luck getting it to fit after over an hour of trying. Both crews were really friendly and hardworking guys. It would’ve been really easy for them to quit and say «sorry, doesn’t fit» but they tried and tried again. They even put me in touch with someone who would disassemble the sofa. Ultimately, it was going to be better for me to sell the sofa and Classic Design stored the set for me for a month while I had it listed on Craigslist. When I finally sold it they had it ready for me the next day and helped load it in the buyer’s truck. Whenever I move they’ll be getting my business.
