Firestone Complete Auto Care

I had an appointment at 4pm for a tire patch. I left work early and arrived at 3:50 and was told that there was only one car in front of mine. After waiting for an hour and a half I asked them to check on my car. After checking the gentleman told me «oh they’re pulling it in now.» They let me sit here for 1.5 hrs. I could have been picked up and come back. Not a problem.
I understand if it is busy it will be a long time, even for a tire patch, but let me know, don’t just leave me sitting here wondering.

It did only take 15 mins to patch my tire once they got started. The manager (I think he was the manager) was nice and apologized, he even gave me a cupon for an oil change. I appreciated that.

If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. I purchased a set of tires and paid about $ 700. I also got the warranty that came with them. Two months later, one of the tires caught a flat. I brought my car in and asked if they could replace the tire and keep the one with the flat in the trunk. Without telling me, they put on a tire that was not the same brand as the other 3. They also did not inform me the tires I wanted were out of stock. Lastly, they didn’t put the old tire in the trunk. The tire they put on was a cheaper, off brand tire. Upon coming back, they gave me a lot of trouble regarding the situation and didn’t want to give me the original brand. Some of the employees are very unprofessional and I will NEVER come to this location again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Worse place ever!!! Came here to get my tire that had a nail in it replaced and was told it was going to be serviced in an hour. I was ok with that. I came back 2 hours later and they didn’t even get to my car yet!!! And when I returned I asked the person at the front desk if my car was ready and she forgot about me. I spoke with the guy I initially spoke to when I came the first time and he said he told me to come back at 5… NOOOO YOU DID NOT
If you can make it to this place, DONT COME!!!

Brought my car in for an alignment, was told that I needed a new wheel bearing, and was quoted $ 400 for the work. Got a second opinion from trusted mechanic back home. He was willing to do the work for $ 150 but drove it and tested it and said nothing was wrong. Suspicious!

If you plan on getting ripped-​off then have at it. I am a relatively easy-​going customer, so for me to provide this absolutely horrible review is pretty telling. This location not only incorrectly diagnosed my vehicle, but they incorrectly diagnosed my vehicle on three separate occasions. They also charged me almost $ 1,500 and refused to refund me. The brakes and rotors that they placed on my car were wrong, charged me to repair motor mounts which had absolutely nothing to do with the original issue regarding my brakes, and to top it off, told me that they apologized for not inspecting the vehicle after having a new mechanic working on my car. Oh and by the way, they refused to refund me even though my car is now in worse shape than when I originally took it in.
I have now gotten to the point where I have taken my vehicle to the dealership and they have in fact confirmed that all of the parts that were placed on my vehicle weren’t even for an Acura.
Thanks for completely ruining my experience, leaving me $ 1,500 out of my pocket, and wasting my time.

I came in to get my power steering pump replaced. They gave me a quote comparable to the one I got at AAA and asked me to make an appointment. I made an appointment for 7am the next morning and was promised that I would be first in the queue. They estimated labor would take 1.5 hours but were still not done when I checked back 5 hours later. They then called me to tell me they ordered the wrong part and I would have to leave my car overnight. While I was there, multiple people were also upset that their service times were much longer than expected. Fortunately for me, the part came in during the afternoon and I was able to pick up my car at the end of the day. Overall, the staff was patient dealing with complaints, but don’t expect to get your repairs done quickly here.

I came in for a simple oil check, and to replace one tire. They told me that the other three needed to replaced, and I was okay with that. Then, I needed new brakes and two new air filters. I was okay with that, too. After paying $ 598 and spending 3.5 hours here, I was done. Or so I thought. I drove off, and my «new brakes» we’re squeaking loud enough that a police officer asked me to stop. I called and CAME BACK just to find out the job wasn’t done properly. I’ve been a Firestone customer for YEARS, but I will not come back to this location. If I pay for service, it should be done completely. No customer should pay for all of the recommended service just to have to return 5 minutes later.

I went to this Firestone since it was close to my work. They did much better than the Firestone on S. Cobb Dr., Which I will never go to again. I arrived at 2:47 PM and was quoted one hour for an oil
took an hour and 36 minutes. that is a bit long to wait for an oil change but it is close to the time they quoted.

Called today to ask a wait time on an oil change and tire rotation, was told «I have a tech on the couch right now I’d be happy to put to work.» Arrived 20 minutes later, checked in. Started catching up on work emails from my phone, and more than an hour went by while my car stayed sitting in the parking lot. The explanation I received was that one of their techs was trying to finish up with another car before bringing mine in, accompanied by a relatively hollow apology.
I don’t appreciate the lie I received, and will never do business at this location again. NTB just got a new customer, at least they tell me on the phone it’ll be an hour and a half wait.
Honest goes a long way!

How can this business claim «complete auto care» if I can’t even have emissions done here. The hours are great for people who work «normal» work hours where as all of the other shops on the road close around 6.

I should have read the reviews of this location before taking my car in.
I have already called corporate about these issues, but I thought I would give the short end of the long story here too.
I dropped my car off because twice my brakes locked at a stop light (where I have to shut off my car and then turn it back on to unlock them), AND my E-​brake was not working at all.
I took my car in and left it for the day, they asked to have it overnight and for a second day of testing — no big deal! I called the next evening to see about picking it up and was told they could not find a problem, but that my E-​brake was fixed and there would be no charge.
I picked up my car and was told I had to pay $ 9.99, even after I told the cashier that there shouldn’t be any charge — I paid it, because I figured $ 10 for a fixed E-​brake was worth it!
I got in my car, put it in drive, and as I rolled I pulled the E-​brake —— NOTHING!
Frustrated, I walked in and told them the problem. A manager came out and said he would grab the mechanic that worked on it.
Brian (the mechanic) came out and said he couldn’t find anything wrong with my brakes and to take it to the dealership. When I asked him why I was told the E-​brake wasn’t fixed, he said the person on the phone didn’t know what they were talking about.
He said «something must be loose».
If something was loose… Why didn’t you tighten it?! You had my car for 2 days!
I left, and drove three blocks… And my «check engine» light came on.
Definitely NOT something you want to happen right after you leave a mechanic.
I think the biggest problem is a lack of communication with their team members.

So I am pretty car-​inept. I hate to admit this, but I pretty much know how to operate my vehicle and that’s about it. When my tire pressure light came on, I brought it to this Firestone hoping that it was just a minor flat repair.
Personally, I didn’t have any glaring issues with service. For the most part he was pretty patient with me, even when I refused to believe that really I just needed to put air in the tires. In fact, the representative allowed me to bypass the line and sent me straight to the mechanic. Apparently, no flat, the tires just needed air.
I was in and out within ten minutes and the entire service was comped. Granted, there wasn’t much that needed to be done on the vehicle.

Good work & price, but disorganized. Be careful to provide your exact vehicle make/​model/​trim; another customer was quite delayed because Firestone was requesting brakes for a wrong trim that would’t fit!
Arrived at 10:00 on slow Wednesday & time estimate was 2 hours to install 4 tires & check alignment. At check out after 3 hours alignment had not been checked. Alignment checked out good & did not need to be completed. Also, at time of checkout I was notified that a TPMS needed to be replaced, at which would require an additional 45 minutes. Work was not complete until 4:40, more than 6 ½ hours!

Bad service attitude. I asked the represent or which kind of oil did they changed for my car. And he said, «of course the cheaper one, the other advanced one would be above 70bucks». I also asked him that whether can they do the maintaining service for my car. He started to speak out price list of each service items and feel like I can’t afford it. After that I tried to ask him one more question, he just pretend to picking up the phone and let me show myself way out. if he think because I’m a yellow skin little Asian girl and doesn’t deserve to have a good service experience. I would say that Firestone would never see any Asian customers from now on!

I am not sure why people rate this location low. We being both of our cars here and have found them to be friendly. They never push to do any service. When I talk to them I feel we are well informed of our options. Today I got a flat tire and had to be towed here. I called ahead and they checked inventory for my tire, told me honestly what my wait would be and have kept me informed all along in the process. Abdul was great.

Say what u want about the service here but hot damn cheapest tires around. I even went 2 sizes bigger on my tires for $ 400.00 and got all 4 new ones. I was blown away by the tire prices. I came during Memorial Day weekend and the wait wasn’t so bad just 1 hour and 40 minutes, but they were packed. I couldn’t complain it was on a whim but I am one happy customer just because the price was soooooooooo sweet!
And the service was crew were extremely nice, well mannered and attentive.

Basic oil change took over an hour (62 minutes). Then was told I need a re-​alignment. Last time, I needed new brake pads and rotors. New rotors was something the dealer told me upon second opinion that you shouldn’t need done.
Seems like it’s always something extra here — like your stereotypical car service place that will nickel and dime you because you’re not a car expert.

When I was a student in ATL, firestone tried to do me sooooooooo dirty. LOL
I came there with one flat, which I expected would be a bubblegum fix. After waiting around for a couple of hours, for what I thought would be a repair, the representative says the mechanic noticed three flat tires (that rather than repaired… need to be replaced) and a forth donut… also tried to sell me an alignment.
OH REALLY?
Now if it wasn’t for this aggressive state trooper, old sugar daddy dude wanting to be «my friend,» I most certainly would have left to go to the nearest auto body a couple blocks away. Instead, I left with $ 800 in new tires. If I am lying, I am flying. Firestone did me dirty, they knew good and well what they did to my car.

Re: Howell Mill Road location.
Been there 3 ½ times for service. EVERY time the service took at LEAST 3 hours longer than the time they quoted. They don’t follow up on doing things they promise to do. Appointments mean NOTHING at this location at all. This last time I ‘attempted’ to use them, I was proactive. Made an appointment, they promised to order the parts they would need for my vehicle. Day of appointment, I’m there on time for the apptmnt that was supposed to take «1 hr in & out». 2 hrs later they tell me they didn’t order parts & don’t even have the oil for my vehicle. Never going back here again even though it’s closest location to me.

Had to get two new tires for a car. Service was okay. They got done a lot faster than I expected. They can chill with the you need this, that, and the other and it’s gonna cost you $ 23,000. I think it’s against the law for mechanics to not try to wring every freakin penny out of a player.
Anyway, the workers were nice. I would consider them again.
