2.5 rounded down. The name sounded like something I would like, fresh quality food. I figured it would be affordable but their food is overpriced IMO. I ordered the bison burger($ 10.90) and got this sad, thin, burnt piece of meat. Carcinogens??? I opted for the apples instead of chips for the side. It wasn’t terrible but I prefer non-burnt food. My friend got a salad with shrimp(forget the salad name). It was just a typical salad, nothing special. The service was pretty friendly except this one older lady. I was sitting while waiting and she just took the utensils from the table for another table without saying a word. Felt she was non-verbally telling me to get out or something. The place itself is pretty well maintained with lots of seating, but for the price, portion, and quality. wouldn’t recommend this place.

Love the wild mushroom soup and salmon. The price is a bit higher than this kinds of quick food places

I came here with a co-worker for lunch. You order at the counter and find your own seating. I got ½ of a tuna melt Panini and some soup. I think food here is just mediocre. It’s not terribly expensive, and has a lot of options from entrees to sandwiches. What I do think is cool is their selection of drinks — lots of creative flavored tea, etc. I missed out on this on my first visit here. I think I’d only come back here if a colleague or friend wanted to have lunch in this area.

I’ve visited Emory Point’s Fresh To Order on and off over the years. On each of my visits, they’ve been consistently OK. Right when you enter, you’re greeted enthusiastically(almost uncomfortably so) by a server who hands you a menu. They always ask if it’s your first visit there, but don’t really offer extra suggestions or help if it is. The set-up is designed for fast and efficient ordering. The counters where you place your order and pay at are located very close to the entrance. It pressures guests to hurry up and decide on their orders, especially as the busy and time-pressed CDC workers and Emory students start to build up a line behind. They offer a variety of drinks, from your normal fountain drinks selections to their specially flavored lemonades and iced(sweet) teas. I tried the mojito lemonade and it’s very tasty, albeit a super duper sweet. Once you’ve ordered and paid, you receive a number to place at your table. The food comes out impressively quickly. On my last visit, I got the Grilled Salmon Panini with potato chips($ 10). The panini was rather small for its price and they skimped on my chips. :(I couldn’t help but eye my friend’s plate of chips from across the table — she had gotten at least 50% more than I had. Ah well. C’est la vie. Grilled Salmon Panini — I had expected the salmon to be in, at most, 2 – 3 beautifully large chunks rather than a chopped up «salmon salad-esque» form. The avocado and tarragon aioli provided a very rich, creamy texture to the sandwich. While the small bits of corn provided a nice contrasting sweetness, I think a hit of acid would have been a great way to cut through the richness. When I go out to eat, I usually can’t get through my whole meal. At Fresh To Order, I not only finish everything, but am still a touch unsatisfied. It’s a good place to go if you’re nearby and pressed for time. They’re great at getting you in and out speedily(at one awkward moment, a server tried to clear our plates while we were still reaching for our sides of chips and apple slices). Our whole meal took less than 45 minutes. However, the food is simply OK and the portions are on the small side.

I ordered a spinach salad and a mushroom soup and I liked both. The salad had a few leaves that were not so fresh and the small pastry that comes with the plate was dry — not fresh. But overall it’s good and I will come back.

As a self-proclaimed frugal Jewish college girl(yes I’m playing to the stereotype), Fresh to Order is my go to near campus eating spot for when the cafeteria sounds so unappealing I almost file a restraining order against myself. Note, I maximized my unlimited meal plan, but even the most money conscious students have to give into the monotonous food selection and look elsewhere for nutrition. When times like these fall of me, I look no further than Fresh to Order(and often try to convince a friend to go and split a meal because what kind of Jew would I be if I didn’t). I have yet to have anything off the menu that didn’t tickle my taste buds. While the restaurant can seem a bit pricey for the average college student, the portions are large enough to make a second meal out of an entrée. And trust me, you want to make a second meal out of it. Generally when I go, I order the spinach salad because I haven’t had berries in what feels like years. The roll that comes along with the leaves is not only outright delicious, but it also makes a great dessert to finish off a meal satisfying enough that I can go back to the dorm happy and the cafeteria meal plan not totally repulsed.

Some of the menu items are better than others. During my first visit I had the steak with blue cheese panini. The steak was overcooked and lacked seasoning. My second visit I had the chicken and bacon panini. The chicken lacked seasoning. Now my third visit was so much better. I had the almond crusted chicken skewers. They were seasoned really well and the meat was tender. The fruit Chutney it was served with was tasty. I also enjoyed the side of mashed sweet potatoes sprinkled with cinnamon and walnuts. I love their homemade flavored teas and lemonade. Sweet tea with mint, lemonade with anise, and mango tea were just a few of my favs. The servers are so helpful, friendly and very polite. Great lunch spot.

My Co worker talked me into getting lunch from there and I’m so happy I did. We both got the salmon panini. It was AMAZING! Super flavorful and cooked to perfection. It was definitely worth the $ 10. The cashier was fast and friendly. This may just have became my new favorite lunch to go place.

This place is just meh. Not bad, but nothing to write home about either. Got the grilled salmon panini. It’s decent. The size was probably just about right for lunch(though I had to share it with a toddler. ha!). A little pricey at $ 10 for the amount of food. Yeah… just not very inspiring meal. I’d come back if a CDC or Emory friend wanted to meet there for lunch. But I wouldn’t come on my own.

Second time trying out Fresh to Order. This time at the actual location with a coworker. I found the menu a bit confusing, but the cashier helped me out. I wanted to get the half sandwich/half salad, but the sandwich I wanted wasn’t an option for that deal. Therefore, I decided on the chicken caesar sandwich and the market salad. I was suprised by the size of my order– it was quite filling. Especially with the mini croissant that comes with the meal. I actually only ate half the sandwich at lunch and saved the rest of it for a midafternoon snack. Everything was very tasty. Oh and apparently there is a military discount. I didn’t even ask. Since I was in uniform, they just automatically applied it. I would love to visit again. :-) This review averages the score of this visit and the score from my previous review. Standalone, I would have given this visit 5 stars.

I really like this place but it’s too expensive. Not a fan of how the? manager? With the Mohawk type hair treats the employees and was rather rude to me upon arrival.

I’m a little late to arrive at the f2o party. I can see why my friends like this place. The food is fresh. It’s put together from tasty, fresh ingredients and presented very nicely, not to mention quickly. Good stuff. This was not your average sandwich. I had the Smoky Southwest Chicken(Spicy Fire-Grilled Chicken, Two Cheeses, Crisp Tortillas, Lettuce, Southwest Ranch Dressing) on ciabatta. Delicious. The sandwich was so good, it was like dessert. I chose fresh cut apples slices for my side. The apple was a Granny Smith. Nice and tart. But as I said, the sandwich was so good, I wanted to finish it after my apples. My friend had the Waldorf Chicken Salad sandwich. At least, I think she did. I really didn’t care what she had because my sandwich was really good. F2O is a little pricey, but I would happily meet my friend there again. Holler if you’re coming with!

Stopped here because I was working across the street and was able to walk over to Emory point for lunch. F2O caught my eye because I saw the server bringing a panini out to the balcony as I was walking by. I’m soooo glad I stopped in. Of course monkey see monkey do so I had to give that panini a try. I debated for a while between the salmon panini and the chicken BLT. Eventually I settled for the Grilled chicken BLT complete with Fire Grilled Chicken, Apple-Wood Smoked Bacon, Avocado Aioli, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Sprouts. I was skeptical about the Avocado Aioli so I got that on the side, but was pleasantly surprised with how tasty it turned out to be. The prices were about average for this type of place and the service was superb.

There is nothing better than a salad made by someone else and so I decided to give Fresh to Order a try. Sitting in the convenient parking lot I placed my order for a half Club Salad and Chicken Tortilla Soup. Staff was very friendly when I arrived 15 minutes later at the suggested pick up time.(I’d like to suggest, however, that they figure out a way to text the customer when the order is ready so that food is not only fresh to order but fresh to eat.) I peeked in the bag on my way home and was disappointed to see a croissant where my whole wheat flatbread should have been.(On that note, I’d rethink the croissant as an accompaniment to a salad… how about a nice other bread? But I suppose F2O should concentrate on getting their current choices correct at this point.) My ½ salad was generously sized but unfortunately it was put together with slightly soggy ingredients. And honestly when I reviewed the menu this morning because I couldn’t remember the name of the salad I ordered, I realized it mentioned featuring chicken. I don’t recall tasting any chicken at all and wonder if it was in the Chicken Tortilla Soup which was sadly floating in the bottom of the plastic bag my order came in(the lid wasn’t on properly) What was left was chickeny but bland and might have been hot an hour prior to my ordering it… The soggy bag of tortilla strips were a wash, literally. The salad container was nice and sturdy and I’ve saved it for the next better kind of salad… one I’ve made myself.

I had an hour for lunch and had a desire for salad, so I popped into Fresh to Order. The place was a zoo which said something about its popularity. The ordering lines moved quickly though, and my cashier was pretty polite and friendly. I couldn’t decide on which salad to get but ended up with the Southwest choice which had«Mixed Greens, Tomatoes, Cheese, Roasted Corn, Golden Raisins, Cranberries, Tortilla Crisps, Southwest Ranch.» I added some fire-grilled chicken breast for around 3 bucks more for a little meat element. People getting their grub to-go just squish up against a wall near the kitchen. I waited for ages to get my stuff and watched with envy as people who ordered right before me and well after me received their lunches and left. Eventually, the man who seemed to be in charge of distribution asked me what I had, and I told him, and my salad emerged soon after. I found it hard to enjoy my salad since I had to walk back to where I was and rapidly shovel it into my mouth before my hour was up. From what I could remember, the portion was generous as it should be for $ 10. Not sure how southwestern cranberries and golden raisins are, but I’ll go with it. I did like the tortilla crisps as they added a crunchy element, and the chicken was fine but it’s in strips, not small chunks. I would suggest some onions but maybe that’s because I’m an onion fiend. Thank god there was no cilantro. Guess this franchise is doing booming business since I just saw that a Fresh to Order is opening up in the cursed space across from Leon’s.

This is our go to place as a family with little kids. The food is relatively healthy and fresh with a great kids menu. The tea flavors are delicious and I don’t even like tea! I love the salmon panini and their tuna burger! Let’s just say I haven’t been disappointed with anything I have tried here. The staff is friendly and helpful and has a very child friendly atmosphere. This location has a really nice outdoor patio too which is fun for people watching at Emory Point and enjoying the non summer Atlanta weather.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a ‘Fresh To Order’ and I’d forgotten just how much I enjoyed the food and just how appealing the menu is! This is probably one of the newer locations in Atlanta, but it’s up to par with its sister locations. The staff was friendly and efficient, the space is large, clean, and has a slightly trendy-casual atmosphere. Our entrees were delivered quickly and while customers order at the counter, the staff made a point to check in on us at several points during our meal. To start, we ordered the«Brown Sugar Roasted Pork Loin»(w/mashed sweet potatoes topped with apricot chutney; $ 5), which was the perfect serving size for a shareable app between two people. We both really enjoyed — the pork loin was tender and nicely cooked, my only qualm would be the that the combination of the brown sugar, the sweet potatoes, and the chutney made it much too sweet; the chutney would’ve more than sufficed. For my entrée, I had the«Grilled Salmon»(served with greens and rice; $ 11.60) — and again I enjoyed it — the salmon wasn’t overly cooked or too dry, which I find is often the case in fast/casual esque restaurants; it was topped with an orange sauce that provided a sort of sweet acidity(if that makes any sense) in contrast to the salmon. The rice and greens were fairly standard, I also took a bite(or several) of the bison burger(served on flat bread; $ 10.90) — I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this burger; It was good, really good. The bison patty was juicy and tender, flavorful — they definitely made it the star of the show! Definitely will be stopping in more often, they make eating healthy a breeze!

Hmm. Not quite sure how I feel about this place. One major plus is that they have generous portions, for decent prices… A half salad/half soup combination is plenty filling, for sure! And the market salad with fire grilled chicken(what the bf ordered) was tasty! Particularly the chicken, though there was no attempt to incorporate them into the salad at all. They really are just laid on the top of the salad as protein, post-dressing. But my asian salad was really not to my taste. I think I may have erred by ordering on impulse, seeing only the fresh avocado in the menu description and conveniently skimming over the other ingredients listed, like pickled ginger, tangerine/orange slices, which, paired with the citrusy sweet dressing, made for an entirely too-sugar-loaded eating experience. And don’t get me started on the odd assortment of nuts(whole almonds, cashews, some whole macadamia nuts, walnut chunks) that were in the salad as well; I felt like they just opened a Planters can and dumped it on my salad. Which isn’t bad, necessarily… just curious. For my soup I ordered the Wild Mushroom soup, which was tasty. I loved how savory it was, but it was so thick and creamy it reminded me of sausage gravy – yeah, the kind you would eat with biscuits! I would potentially come back, but definitely would not order the Asian salad again. And any salad I order, I am going to ask for the dressing on the side!

UPDATE: +1 star, because the owner messaged me, apologized, and offered to make things right. Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely give them another chance because of the way this was handled. Food was tasty and the place looked clean. Salads are huge, but I took 1 point off because they only gave me 1 salad dressing container in my to go order, so ½ of my salad was dry. Another point was taken off because the cashier didn’t know the register, menu, etc. He had to ask servers, cooks, etc. The guy should have been trained better before being left alone.

Not too shabby. F2O is a good place to go for a quick, fresh lunch. They have a variety of salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and soups. I think the best thing I’ve had there is the salmon sandwich. It has pieces of corn that make it extra tasty. Other sandwiches are also pretty solid. The salads are pretty fresh and well made. Just be careful with the dressing because they tend to put more dressing than salad. Last time I was there, a coworker of mine could barely eat her salad because the dressing was so heavy and sickly sweet. You can ask for it on the side. If you like bread, the croissant is a tasty side(complimentary with the salad). I’ve had the shrimp pizza here once, and I probably won’t get it again. The ingredients don’t mesh well and the shrimp isn’t all that fresh. Ordering is pretty simple. Sometimes they have computers outside that will take your order but sometimes they remove them. The orders are taken by the cashiers, and you are given a number to take to your table. A waiter comes and hands you your food. The weird part about this place is that they use these really long plates that don’t fit on the table well, and the servers seem like they’re all over the place. Maybe they could simplify their service a little.
