Gucci

The customer service is horrible. The associates watch you like a hawk as soon as you enter the store. Never greeted with a smile or anything except from security.
If you attempt to make a purchase using your father’s credit card, they will deny the sale. Embarrassing, right? Yes, this happened to me. Which I’m an authorized user on the account. Gucci denied me from even contacting the credit card user for them to verify that I am indeed an authorized user. I’ve never had a situation like this to occur before at any other store within Phipps, Lenox, or Perimeter, the three primary malls that I shop.

I came here intending to buy my husband a messenger bag for work. We were promptly greeted by two staff members ready to help us. The woman pointed us to the bags on display and even brought some from the back for us to view. I showed her a picture of a men’s Gucci bag I found online that I really liked, but she informed me that bag was 4 years old and there would be no way to order it. Unfortunately, the store is limited to only the merchandise currently shown on
. We left empty handed, but we appreciated the care and attention during our visit.

Phipps Plaza Gucci. Dwon was awesome! Purchased a new purse for the new year and he was very helpful and patient as I tried to narrow down my decision. Love Gucci!
It was close to closing hours and I didn’t feel rushed at all. He offered suggestions and he polished and gift wrapped my new purse to make it extra special. It was worth spending thousands of dollars with a smile :)

So, for those of you that don’t know… Gucci has a sale twice a year. But shhhhh dont tell anyone. I saw some bad ass heels online that I was dying to get but I wanted to try them on first so my sis and I decided to breeze through Phipps while we were out shopping for my wedding. You already know when you walk into any designer store, they treat you like VIP, if they dont, they certainly should and sometimes they even offer libations while you shop. It’s a set up if you ask me — they know good and damn well that when you’re tipsy, you make all kinds of decisions. «Oh yeah, I’ll buy that bag for $ 1,000…and let me take these…»
Anyway, I usually peruse the website to see what I want and of course since I need my purchase asap, I have to see what they have in the store. So we were greated as soon as we walked in the store. You know i walked straight to the shoes to see if they had a (ahem) size 42 in the style that i wanted. Of course they didnt. What happened to all of the size 10’s that used to be available for the big foot girls? MAN! (Well…now that i think about it, that’s who’s buying them lol thanks to Derek J.) So yeah, they’re all out the manager (dammit, I forgot her name. Shame on me for taking a week to write this) informs us. I was so hurt. I went back online and all of the sizes were gone within 30 minutes! What is this? An Outkast concert? The manager pulls us to the side and asked where we were from and suggested that I connect with one of the salesperson’s there. I informed her that Yirad helped me last time (he was a great help!) and she said he had just stepped out for lunch. We were in the store for at least 45 minutes having girltalk, giving each other high fives. I really enjoyed talking to her and will definitely return when I want to make another purchase (prob in December).

Service here is a JOKE… My mother happens to like gucci so we’d shop here since there is no other gucci store locations near us.
Service here always had been hit or miss in the past but our last visit CONFIRMED that their poor service or I should say some of their «ignorant staffs» will stop me from returning to gucci from now on. I do not need to try to spend my money here while I’m getting «mocked» by their employees… I can not stop wonder if their ignorance comes from the poor education or just naturally from their ethnicity.
Gucci really need to step up and try to train their staffs to behave civilized to their customers and maybe they should start paying more money to their new hires so they can have some decent people working at their store to offer their customers better service to go with their designer prices.
There are just too many GOOD things out there. ha!

Searched high and low for a particular cologne and finally found it here at the Gucci store. The staff is superb as well.

AWFUL service! My fiancé went to buy me a purse and he got there at 7:40 pm since the place closed at 8 pm according to the website. When he got there they told him that they closed at 7 and the Internet was wrong. My fiancé was pretty annoyed and they told him he can come back the next day and then laughed to each other and said «yeah, he probably will not come back.» For a company like GUCCI I am quite astonished since they should be catering to their customers and not mocking them. Never went back. TERRIBLE!

Amazing staff that goes above and beyond to help customers.

I am a label whore, there, I said it, and every other shallow person shopping in here will share my opinion. Nothing beats the excitement of walking in with a smile and walking out with that over size brown box, barely able to breath. I giggle in a high pitch tone, still glowing from my purchase, and I walk through the parking lot looking around, clutching my bag like I have the winning lottery ticket!
I have since gone back for multiple wallets, make up bags, 2 bangles, countless purses and I am currently dreaming about the vintage horse bit horn ring. Who can find these vintage, rare items? D’Won-my magician. He can make any bad day in to a good day with a flick of the wrist and a key to the glass case holding the newest Gucci accessory!
D’Won is the BEST personal shopper in Gucci. He has been good to me and he’ll be good to you too, just not too good, I don’t like to share!
I can walk in wearing name brand clothes or ripped jeans and flip flops and I am always treated the same.

I like the Gucci stuff OK but I have never been a regular shopper at this store. Now I know why… the service is the some of the worst service I have experienced, from start to… well, it hasn’t ended because I’m still waiting for my merchandise.
I went into the store for a particular pair of sandals. The salesperson really didn’t want to be bothered. Did I mention, I was dressed poorly and in flip flops. Hmmm. They didn’t have my size. OK but no offer to find my size so I asked if he could. Reply «yes.» Me «So can you look for it now on your computer or how does this work?» Finally he went into the back and looked on the computer and said he could have it sent in 2 days from another store. Perfect.
I didn’t feel confident that was happening so the next day I called and spoke to the SM. She said my salesperson wasn’t feeling well that day (my problem?) and she’d check. Didn’t sound as if he ordered it (but he could have) as she said again, we will get it from another store and be here in 2 days.
Two days later I went into the store; they were moderately busy but not swamped and I waited & waited, along with another couple. We joked about the poor service as salespeople kept walking by and no one spoke to us. Finally I get one; shoes not in yet… Day 3, shoes not in yet; sending store didn’t send via 2 day. I hope this ends well cause the start has been poor, sloppy and lacking in service of any kind.

I am not a fan of Gucci as a brand but this store hit all marks in the customer service category. They were very helpful and didn’t judge me even though I walked in there with a shirt made of plastic bags and shorts with holes in them. They treated me like I was a true shopper (which I was) I think as soon as I pulled out my wallet they started to offer me more service to entice me to buy more of their merchandise. I think this place is doing a good job at keeping the customers happy at all cost.

Come to find out… I AM a label whore. I mean why else would someone like me be in a store like this on a rainy Tuesday talking about: Do yall sell umbrellas?
Ha Ha… yes, they do… and for WAAAAAYYYYY more than anyone should ever pay for an umbrella.
I mostly come here to satisfy my sunglass and luggage fetish and not even the luggage so much, now that the economy has grounded most of my travel plans before I can even get them completly formed in my mind.
I have a «personal shopper» here, yes… how that happened is one day I saw Janet Jackson… yes…THE JANET JACKSON, SISTER OF MICHAEL AND THE REST OF THE JACKSON CLAN… with a certain Gucci belt on… I went into the store, all prepared to purchase the belt when Duwan told me in no uncertain terms would he allow me to spend $ 300 on a belt I could hardly fit around my waist and that Janet has a 18 – 20 inch waist… and that… well…I dont… he and I became fast friends.
Thus, I have a personal shopper at Gucci even though I probably purchase something from here once every 4 – 5 years at the most. Haha.
I love when people that work on commission forgo their commission to say… OH NO… that looks terrible on you! When ever I stop in to browse, he always excited to see me, and treats me like I come in and drop thousands of dollars weekly. He is the most UN-​POMPOUS employee they have in the entire store. The rest of the staff, with the exeception of the security guard act as if they are too busy to be bothered with you most of the time. Even if you are the only person in the store.
Today as I wondered the store, I also saw a Gucci two piece bikini that makes me wonder if I was ever a size two… and how come it seems like women that are size two’s have the best swimsuits to choose from.
