I’ve been to Harry’s a few times since it is near my office. It’s a little hard to quantify this place, because they have a diverse menu. However, I’ve tried a lot of the pizza and salads, and can safely say that there are better places out there. The best food to order is the pizza. It has a very thin crust, but it is not crunchy. I like how it tastes! It’s warm and the crust is tasty with a good seasoning. I have not tried the heavier toppings so I can’t comment there. My girlfriend ordered a salad, and this is where Harry’s starts to fail. The salad was inedible. The Greek salad had mushrooms, which was a little strange to me. It also had the most disgusting chicken topping I have ever tasted. The mushrooms surely came from a can… but I have no idea where the chicken could have come from. The salad was so gross that we sent it back and got some more pizza instead. The staff was nice about it and seemed confused that the salad was bad, but they didn’t put up a fight when we returned it. Overall, this is the best that could be expected and we both ended up happy with our meals. The cookies are also good, for what it’s worth. The interior of Harry’s is a little small, but there is an upstairs area where people can sit. There were several people upstairs eating, but they kept putting up a chain to keep more people from going upstairs when the downstairs cleared out a little. However, it also prevented us from going up and down easily to get more drinks or the cookie. It’s a minor thing but it was just annoying. The décor isn’t anything special, but you’re not going to Harry’s expecting anything awesome in that respect. Overall, this place is fine for lunch. I wouldn’t recommend it for much more, and the salads are abysmal, but if you stick with pizza, you’ll be satisfied at a cheap price!

Ive been trying to check out all of the neighborhood pizza joints so I visited Harry’s on a dreary, rainy afternoon on my day off. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza, a slice of cheese pizza with ground beef and onions, and a turkey and cheese sub. When they put toppings on the slices of pizza, I dont think they warm it up or put cheese on top of it. The ground beef was dry and unseasoned and the onions were cold and raw. I had to take the toppings off in order to somewhat enjoy it. The cheese and pizza sauce were very salty. The turkey and chese sub was your standard turkey sub with mayo, tomato, lettuce, and cheese. There was nothing special about it. With that said, I will never return.

Pizza rocks. Subs are great. Prices are good. Nothing fancy about the joint. Just good food for the bux.

Long story short… Tastes so good that I ate a full calzone and ½ a pizza and it almost gave me an ulcer(doctor diagnosed)… My fault for not knowing when to stop, but that tells you a lot on how good it was… Calzone was the Meat Lovers — tasty meat goodness Pizza was the Margherita — light and balanced, not over powering basil, fresh tomatoes and cheese. The crust is just the right amount of chewy and garlic. Back again after three months and still just as good! Btw, their pretzel appetizers are awesome too!

I didn’t care for the pizza. We got a medium which I guess for some reason is hard to make it taste like a ny style pizza. The crust was so thick. The sauce tasted kinda cheap. Good quick service. Reasonable prices.

Seeing Harry’s stamped with 3.5 stars is like a scissor kick straight to my heart. It’s a travesty. Maybe it’s slightly divey in a family friendly sense and not a gourmet, brick oven, perfect-crunch, «I can’t pronounce the name of that pizza» place, but it’s still consistently damn good. And cheap beers. 3.5? Get outta here with that.

Came for lunch… got the 1-topping, Greek salad and drink special. It was about $ 8. Food came out very quickly. Greek dressing was yummy! Pepperoni slice but a tad bit salty even after I soaked up the extra grease. The cheese was good, not too stretchy but flavorful. Crust was both chewy and crunchy. Friendly staff. I will return for lunch.

I ordered a small pizza for takeout. I was told it will be ready in 10 minutes. Arrived and paid for pizza and waited and waited. Inquired about the delay and told it would just be another couple minutes. Total time 29 minutes from the phone call. It was not crowded

They have great draft beer prices and their pizza is incredible! I recommend the meatball and spinach pizza or chicken pesto pizza. Their subs and wings are always good too. Overall a great neighborhood Italian pizza place with friendly owners and staff. Thursday trivia nights are always a lot of fun and the place fills up quickly!

Went there after seeing the pics on Unilocal. We got a slice each with wings. The wings were great. Nice crispness to them. I ordered all flats and got a mixture. The gentleman simply replaced the drums and apologized for the mistake. The pizza was thin and cheesy just how I like it. The crust was disappointing. It may have been undercooked or over rolled allowing the sauce to come through. I would go again if I’m in the area for the wings.

We ordered lunch for our office after several recommendations. Harry’s delivery was on time, friendly and the food was amazing. I had the best veggie pizza and the subs were all so delicious. It’s hands down a great lunch spot for yourself or a great option for catering for your function or office. I can’t wait to visit the restaurant and take the experience in fully.

I go back and forth with my feelings here but really I can’t stay away. I like the pizza I love the sandwiches and the fries always hit the spot. Sure sometimes they don’t offer slices but I guess I’ll live. This is a great place for lunch or dinner. I don’t recommend coming to watch a big game because there are not that many tvs. If you are unsure what to get. I recommend the jerk chicken sub. The 2 slice deal is always good. Beer is cheap, seriously cheap!

I loved the NY style pizza here. The beers were also priced well. It definitely felt like a pizza parlor from a nondescript college town but I don’t mind that. The staff was friendly and food came out quickly. The wings and fries were not my favorite. I normally order them«hot» I did not care for the sauce they used. If you like wings I would recommend you stick with a wing place there are a ton of them. The fries are the crinkle cut ones but they were over cooked. Overall, I will return for the pizza and perhaps try a sub someday. If you order a pizza you will not be disappointed!

These hole-in-the-wall places are one of my most fave places to be right about now, and Harry’s Pizza & Subs was just one of those places that I almost passed up on … thank goodness I did not because we are pretty pumped about this discovery… Pizza is thin and NY style — LOVEIT! Big flimsy fold-able slices of yummy pizza. Fresh and hand tossed — I watched the guy make it :) We also had the hot wings, and it is a regular(vinegar-based?) sauce, bleu cheese, a couple of celery sticks, and your regular crinkly fries — not the best, but it is reminiscent of my old college days, and for that, I am thankful … and the price isnt all that bad either … they have the baker’s dozen= 13 wings for 10 bucks. Brooklyn Beer was THEBOMB. I love it — you gotta try it. It was only 3 bucks for the 16oz draft … YAY! and other beers are also priced very well … I mean, where in this area can you find 3 bucks for a glass of specialty beer? NOWHERE. Now, the ambiance, again, may remind you of hole in wall establishment in your college days. There is one humble flat screen near the register, and another smaller, older tv on the other corner. But, I definitely truly enjoyed our visit here. Beer are priced well. Pizza cooked right paired with ambiance that offers a feeling that I thought was long gone — college days :) And oh, they said they have no delivery fees? hmmm…

I’ve probably been coming to Harry’s twice a month for over a year now. it really is some of the best NY style Pizza I’ve had in Atlanta. Their toppings are all really good and taste fresh. If you want to go big, get the Meat Lovers. It’s everything. They do serve pizza by the slice, but if you order too late at night, they may be out of single slices. The calzones aren’t bad, but not great either. The few times I’ve had the calzone, I feel it could have used more filling. There was a lot of bites where it was just dough. The marinara sauce on the side isn’t anything special either; I’ve definitely had better. I’ve had the cheesesteak a couple of times and it’s actually fairly decent. It’s not so good that I’m craving it all the time, but I do get it every once in a while. Their wings are also really good. They aren’t too small or freakishly big. Each order of wings comes with fries and celery. The fries are the crinkly kind and not too bad. Really good deal for the price. The Butter and Parmesan Pretzels are sooo good. They are freshly made, brushed with butter, and sprinkled with cheese. I couldn’t recommend this enough. The garlic bread appetizer is a 12″ loaf and also really good. The draft beer is CHEAP! I’m talking $ 2 – 3 for a 16oz. Making it a great place to just hang out and watch some Football or enjoy their Thursday night Trivia. Though I really wish on Sunday’s they’d have the volume on for at least the Falcon’s game.

Came here the other night with friends for dinner. We ordered: Pepperoni & Mushroom Pizza: The pizza was pretty good! Toppings were on point, not too much or too little. Crust was crunchy, and yummy! Greek Salad: Standard pizza place salad, salad with pizza toppings! LOL! Nothing special, just Greek Salad. We got the large, and that was enough for the 4 of us. Cheese Bread: French bread, with some melted mozzarella. Standard, but who doesn’t like bread & cheese? The service was ok, slow. We ordered, and waited for 20 minutes, and pizza came out. I was hoping that the salad & cheese bread would come out first, but they were last! Pizza, then salad, and then ¼ of a pizza in, the cheese bread came out. I enjoyed the food, but the service was slow. Please see pics. Thank you, drive thru.

Not bad at all. The service here was a tad bit slower than expected but our group visit last night was a success. We ordered a mushroom and pepperoni pizza, their large Greek salad, and their garlic bread. The pizza’s crust was great. Thin and cooked well. The sauce and the ingredients were fresh and everyone at our table enjoyed each slice. Their Greek salad was standard but the dressing was solid and I liked that it came with red onions. Side note: Everything tastes better with red onions in my opinion. Their garlic bread was soft and the cheese was evenly melted on top. It’s a super casual restaurant with seating available both downstairs on the main level and upstairs as well. They have a fountain machine and unsweet/sweet teas available. Service was decent but don’t expect more because you’ll be disappointed. Parking is plentiful as they are in a small strip mall. I was told by friends that I was dining with that their pizza is definitely better in person than via delivery. Thanks again Tanya C. for treating us last night!
