We are from Texas and in Atlanta on a business trip and we have not had the best service of hospitality being from Texas a southern state where the saying of southern hospitality comes easily for us, but this restaurant was amazing, the staff the drinks and food was very some of the best hospitality iv seen outside of Texas! Way to go … they say everything is bigger in Texas but there appetizer nachos were pretty big and good! My drink was made the best iv had in 5 years! Definitely will be back if I’m ever over here again… Thank you Chloe and Laranzo(maybe misspelled)

We walked in on a Wednesday night at around 6:30pm. At that point, there were probably 3 patrons for every 2 servers. It was NOT busy(non game night) and between hostesses, wait staff, bar staff and so forth I probably saw 20 or more people ready to make our night memorable. After we were seated, it was probably 7 minutes until anyone stopped to ask if we would like something to drink. My wife and I both got beers, along with water, and we got our kids some milk and water. From there it was easily 15 minutes before we had our drinks and had placed our order. While waiting for our food, we actually watched our waitress and fellow co-workers enjoy a meal, seated at a table and everything. I was astonished. At first I thought, «Oh, she must be on break and handed our table over to someone else.» After a 15 – 20 minutes a waiter comes up, smiles, and says, «Are you ready?»(We had no menus of course at this time.) My wife and I gave him a confused look and said, «We already placed our order???» He smiled again and said, «I know, I know – just making sure.» Within 3 minutes our food came. Yippee – our waitress was done with break and now it was time for us to eat! #HeartEmoji :) I got a «Hudson burger» with fries. I have no idea what establishes it as a «Hudson» burger, but I can only imagine«Hudson» means: bland, unoriginal, dry, and boring. This was by far one of the worst bar cheeseburgers I have ever had. Nothing unique about it and when you toss in the $ 10+ price, it was a joke. There are cheeseburgers from Wendy’s that are more memorable than this piece of meat. My wife’s commentary on her salad, «I mean, it was average.» Once again, nothing to write home about. Both of our kids dishes came out wrong. We had ordered grilled cheese with fruit and a hot dog with broccoli. We were delivered: grilled chicken sliders with fruit and a hot dog with french fries. Maybe it really was a screw-up from the kitchen, but based on her taking a break while waiting for our meal, I think it’s easy to see she was phoning this one in. I should also note that I’m 90% sure she brought me the wrong beer. The reason I don’t actually know is that I wanted to try a local beer and they were featuring beers from Monday Night Brewing(for which I had heard good things.) I’ve got 1000+ check-ins on Untappd, so I feel pretty confident I know what an IPA is… especially a good one. I ordered the Eye Patch IPA, but I don’t think that’s what I was served. If the food was bad, the service was worse. If you want a boring burger while watching the waitstaff take THEIR break – this is your place!

Food was good, and the server was very nice. Hostess, cleanliness of tables, and number of waitstaff was less that optimal to handle the big crown gathered inside and outside.

Coming from downtown Orlando’s bar scene, it was strange to find downtown Atlanta so dead on a Friday night. We ended up at Hudson Grille Downtown simply because it was the only place open for a late night snack. My boyfriend and I shared the Chili Cheese Tots. It was a heaping portion for just $ 7.95. The tots tasted great initially but got soggy way too quick. We picked around the edges but left the middle pretty much untouched. Service wasn’t that great either.

Not a great experience. We went to grab drinks and appetizers, and decided on the Caribbean shrimp. The wait wasn’t terrible, but when it came out it tasted like it had been sitting for at least an hour. It was chewy, room temperature, and stale. Even the lettuce garnish tasted stale. Our server was polite, but slightly unprofessional. When we mentioned that the shrimp was cold she said they were supposed to be cold. If they had actually been iced cold like a shrimp cocktail I probably would have believed her, but they were room temp… luckily we ended up ordering chicken tacos also. They were delicious, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Waited an hour for a decent burger. Asked the wait staff for a refill 10 minutes in and was told«it would come later,» which is when my food came out. That’s the only time they checked in, begrudgingly. I’ve never seen that before! The place was barely full in the late afternoon before a dinner rush. Won’t be coming back.

Horrible. Didn’t even eat since no one cared to acknowledge us in the almost empty restaurant. Trash on floor and rude hostess didn’t even look at us when we walked in, but said«Bye Ladies» when we left 2 minutes later! Not is everything ok? Just bye! Glad we left and went to Teds down the street. Much better!!!

The food was pretty good… but the service moves at a glacial speed. The servers are not attentive or friendly. It took 10 minutes for our server to greet us and take our drink order. The Lemon Pepper wings and the Megatron burger were pretty good. Too bad the server didn’t give us utensils to eat with. If you’re looking for a decent place to order food on the go… this would be your place. Otherwise, I wouldn’t stay here to eat. Two thumbs for the food ONLY!

Extremely friendly service. Came here on suggestion of our hotel front desk. Sports bar atmosphere. I had fresh lemonade and the salmon entrée. No complaints. Nothing overly special, but a good basic sports bar.

If you are looking for place to smell sewage and get chased around by cockroaches look no further. This place has it all. I personally enjoyed the game of «kill the roach» at the dinner table. It almost made me forget about the long wait times and cold food. If this isn’t your idea of a fun place to burn some cash on a truly unforgettable experience then I’m not even sure I understand you. :)

I’ve been to this location on several occasion and decided to stop in after the Hawk’s gave the city a much needed W. Needless to say they were pretty busy but the hostess was friendly and seated us within a minute of us walking through the door. If you’re looking for a sports bar, this is definitely the place to be as there are at least 578 televisions so you’ll see at least one game that you want to watch. Our waitress, Kiara, was amazing. Let me get this shoutout in before I continue. She was handling at least 10 tables with little help but she kept her cool and really did a great job. She told us about all the drink specials, gave a run down of the menu, and was even though service was a little slow at times, I couldn’t fault her because she was doing her best. Anyway, we started off with some spinach dip and chips which apparently was really good because I found myself eating most of it. A little spicy, full of spinach and goodness. Since I indulged in the spinach dip, I settled on a small house salad with mixed greens, walnuts, cranberries, tomatoes, and honey mustard dressing. That was the best salad I’ve had since last week. The portion size was just right and it was only $ 5. My boyfriend had that buffalo chicken sandwich and even though I did not partake, it looked delish! The chicken was huge and it came with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cheese… I mean it just looked so good. I was good with my salad though. Football season, basketball season, baseball season. Doesn’t matter what season. If you’re a sports fan, you can definitely come to any of Hudson Grille’s locations(they’re just about everywhere these days) and have a good ol time.

I had a much better experience this time! Our waiter was very nice, very knowledgeable about the menu and genuinely cared about our experience. I got a chance to meet the manager which was great! Anytime someone tries to right a wrong it’s a good thing. We ordered a few $ 5 pinnacle vodka cocktails and some appetizers. The sliders were amaaazing. They were moist and tender, the caramelized onions were a nice touch. I added pepper jack cheese as well. I also ordered the chili cheese tots. Yeah, it’s enough for 4 people. HUGE mistake on my part but it was Oh so yummy. I no where near finished it. Unfortunately for me, I couldn’t take it with me to the game. :-(bummer. The Georgia Peach martini was tasty, the Vogue not so much. I’ll stick with GA peach next time. By next time I mean, I’ll for sure be back!

As a first time customer, they made me feel very welcomed. It took a while to get greeted by a server, but they made up for it with a quick delivery of appetizers and entrees. To that end, I really liked how the manager on duty worked with the servers to expedite orders. She wasn’t standing on the side. She was really working! I’m not a big fan of small talk when I’m hungry, but the manager was great with engaging the customers, making us all feel like we were guests in her house. You have to pay to park which sucks, but the food tasted good. It was fresh and it was plenty. I’ll be back again for round 2.

This was my first time at this particular location. The food was consistent and tastes the same as the other locations. Staff were attentive. One thing that I did not like about this particular location is the parking… there is none. You can park across the street at one of the paid lots though.

Hudson Grille is located right across from Philips Arena and is a great pre-game/pre-show spot to grab a drink and snacks before heading over for some entertainment at Philips. I typically stop in and grab a seat at the bar. I’ve found that service is generally better when you are sitting at the bar instead of at the tables. Plus there’s usually not a wait for a bar seat even if the place is packed. You also get $ 2 shots at the bar. The food here is your typical bar food and comes out pretty quickly. This is also a good place to catch a game on the television. There are tons and tons of tvs. The staff is great about changing the channel to what you want to watch.

Big restaurant turnoff for me: dirty tables… oh, and sticky floors and no one attempting to clean them or apologize for them being dirty so long. I was surrounded by five un-bussed tables. Secondary turnoffs are slow and disinterested servers… so you may be wondering why I decided to eat at Hudson Grille? Because I was staying at a neighboring hotel and they told me I would love the food. So after a 12 minute wait for a waitress, I asked management if they had a gluten-free menu or GF options, I was told«No…maybe our salads.» My response«I thought you served hamburgers. Is it possible to get a burger without a bun?» Response, «Sure.» That was the extent of that conversation. I felt like a quick check with the chef or «let me help you figure out an appropriate selection» would be a kind gesture since I still didn’t have a glass of water nor a waitress. The manager didn’t even bother to ask if I wanted to place a drink order. At minute 16, I grabbed my purse to leave when out of nowhere pops a perky waitress who takes my order. It seemed promising. She noticed I didn’t have silverware and actually reached over to a dirty table and handed me an unopened roll of silverware. In disbelief, I said, «Please give me silverware from a clean table.» She looked embarrassed and nervous and quickly disappeared. Sadly, the food was just okay. The burger was overcooked and the cucumber salad was too soft. I like crunchy cucumbers. The two stars I gave are for the price, the food presentation, and burger toppings. The mango salsa and jicama slaw were better than the beef patty. Unfortunately the experience was bad enough for me to decide to never go again. I can’t believe I wasted precious moments of my time and calories with substandard service and food. Needless to say, I let the hotel know to rethink recommending HG. The photos I posted do them major justice.

Busy night around 5pm — we stopped in for a few snacks before the concert. Ultimate nachos, pretty decent, nacho cheese tasted okay. Fries were decent. Cucumber salad: vinegar, tomato and onion chopped. It was too soggy. Service was good, our sever frequently came over to check in on us.

This is probably the most inconvenient Hudson Grille I’ve ever been to… just saying. The service is slow regardless of whether you requesting drinks, food, or your check. They have good specials though, or they did on Tuesday. Pinnacle martinis were $ 5, and the appetizers are BOGO. I just got my usual greek chicken, but my new drink from here is this cucumber martini. I thought it might be weird, but I tried it anyways and WOW. It’s really really refreshing! Not too bad for well vodka LOL
