It’s a bit difficult to get in here because there’s no landing at the top of the stairs. You have to open the door and step down a stair, so it doesn’t hit you in the face. That being said, it’s worth the difficulty. It’s not fast, necessarily, but it’s fast enough. I was able to get in, order, stare at the menu and plan future orders, and get out in about 10 minutes. For a fresh sandwich made in an actual panini press while a few people were in line in front of me, that’s good. Definitely a few steps above the chain sub shops in the area.

Great service! This is the perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat in between classes. They grill the croissants perfectly and give you your choice of veggies to fill your sandwich with… I’ve never had a bad experience and it’s cheaper than subway! Feels healthier too.

When you first see the location it kind of reminds you of something out of a Harry Potter movie because its down a really narrow street and you go up a few steps through a creaky old door. Its kind of cool actually… all you need are some elves and trolls. But anyway, I can only speak for breakfast because that’s all I’ve ever ate here, but I will say I eat here at least 2 – 4 times a week. They have the BESTBLUEBERRYMUFFINS! And I seriously mean that, they only bake so many every morning, but once you come in so many mornings back to back requesting the same thing they’ll eventually start baking it for you, and they’re made from scratch with fresh fruit. They have cranberry, pumpkin, and other flavors but my favorite is blueberry so I never pay attention to the other flavors. I’ve also gotten the Breakfast BLT here on toast and they grill it for you. Its awsome.

OOOOHHHH I LOVE the cuban sandwich!!! Nice place to go after class! But a little too pricy even with the GSU discount… that’s why I only go when I’m extremely hungry and have money to spend :)

I went inside because I saw that they gave GSU student discounts, but the discount turned out to only be 50 cents off. I got the turkey rueben, and it was alright nothing spectacular. Overall, I thought the place was really over-priced for what they offered. I would have rather gone to Rueben’s Deli around the corner and got the $ 5 sandwich special.

Mmmmm get the Health Nut! This little sandwich is SOOOOO good! I get it all the time. And with a student discount it’s only $ 5. Same price as the fake tasting sandwiches at Subway next door and soooo much better. The service is always great — the owner and employees are so friendly. They have yummy bagels, tea, and coffee too. I can’t praise this place highly enough. Not a lot of indoor seating though.

Good, reliable sandwich and coffee shop downtown. Nice owner and employees. Little known secret: the carrott zucchini muffin is AMAZING!

I wandered up Hunky Dory’s narrow, creaking stairway today in search of a quick sandwich. Classical music tinkled through the small space, relaxing me while my stomach growled. I ordered a surprisingly delicious grilled chicken club with tomato, onion, Havarti cheese, «house sauce» and guacamole. Well, it better have been surprisingly delicious since the sandwich by itself cost $ 7.
