About Jersey Mike’s(from their website): «Today, the authentic taste — served Mike’s Way® with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, oil, vinegar and spices — is available nationwide. Our secret? Everything about Jersey Mike’s is high quality. Our certified Angus Beef top rounds are trimmed and cooked right in the store. Our meats and cheeses are all top-quality premium brands. Our bread is fresh-baked each day on the premises. And of course, everything’s prepared right in front of you. It’s what makes Jersey Mike’s the most authentic tasting submarine sandwich available. And it’s a tradition of quality we’ll never outgrow.» I don’t eat many sandwiches now that I have cut back on carbs, but I received a birthday coupon for my birthday as part of their email club. I stopped in during the afternoon and there was no wait. You can cold subs, hot subs, wraps, salads. They also offer kid’s meal. Boy, do they love their provolone at Jersey Mike’s. Good — since I also love it. I ordered a roast beef sandwich. The bread tasted fresh and the sandwich, overall, was pretty good. Service was great; I chatted with the staff as I was deciding my order and they were preparing it. I have also gotten Jersey Mike’s at a catered event. I tried out various types of their sandwiches. All good. Note: A Mini is 5″ long, a Regular is 7″ and a Giant is 14−15″.

The food is always amazing, however they are too busy to smile, especially the male who was at the cash the day we were there. He acted so annoyed when I placed my order. I had a $ 50 order and I didn’t even get what I asked for. I couldn’t go back because we took our food on the road. I will go back, because they make incredible sandwiches and sauce. Hopefully they will be a little friendlier and I will be sure to double check my order before leaving next time.

I come here often. And always get the Italian regular sandwich with everything on it. The service is OK it could be a little more friendlier and cheaper but overall I like going there

Food is good. Service is good. What turned me off and will make me not go back is when paying they ask on your receipt to tip. I don’t like feeling like being pushed to tip at a fast food joint.

This is my go-to place for sandwiches around Druid Hills area. The staff is attentive, nice and quick in making sandwiches. The sandwiches are better than competitors such as Subway because the ingredients are fresher. I probably go there at least once a week and the experience is consistent every time– Great food, high customer service and clean store! I would highly recommend going to this restaurant if your looking for a quick sub with a great experience!

Jersey Mike’s is one of my ultimate favorite places for a fast lunch or dinner. The food is fresh and top notch! The Loehmanns Plaza location usually blasts music through crackling speakers that sound like they were bought at the Dollar store. For some reason they normally blast the TV as well creating a mix of noise that makes me want to lose my mind. Great food, nice people but please choose TV or radio… both is annoying. I will get my awesome sandwiches to go or start wearing ear plugs. I am updating this review because I have eaten there six or seven times since the last review and they have decided to choose either TV or Radio. The noise level has decreased and I can now eat inside the restaurant at lunch without feeling more stressed than I did at the office. Thanks for getting rid of the noise! I added a star. great sandwiches, service and no more noise.

Beats Subway in freshness! You don’t have as many bread and topping options, but the meat is freshly sliced when you order! The regular, despite not being a «foot long» is just as filling. This location is clean and service is prompt and friendly. I love their Italian. To be honest, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with any of their sandwiches as the ingredients are high quality. Just take a look at their meats and cheeses. The tomatoes are bright red, more so than any I saw at the Subway around the corner. So go for it, spend a little more but savor the quality!

Just wanted to acknowledge that I go for subs here now and again. Typical fast food sandwiches on par with Subway and Quiznos. The one on Druid Hills and Briar Cliff has nice customer service. Certainly better than what I usually expect at this sort of joint. Being a NJ escapee(born and raised 20+ years there), how ironic is that?!?

I stopped by Jersey Mike’s on my way out of town yesterday, and it was just so good. The JM’s near my home in NC is pretty lackluster by comparison(any chance of relocation to Raleigh!?) so I honestly went in without much of an expectation. The great thing about this Jersey Mike’s in particular is that it doesn’t feel like a chain, it is clearly run with attention and care in how the employees treated their customers. Despite being packed, everyone in line received the same courtesy and great service, AND my lunch was awesome. I could also tell that it was a neighborhood hot spot for families and students, so I must not be the only one impressed. GREAT bread(really, really good bread. Really.) Also, I’d like to know where they got their tomatoes from because even the Whole Foods only seems to offer grainy, not-so-good ones. Next time I’m in Atlanta, I’ll drop in and bring my friends for sure.

If you’ve never been to JM, this is *the* one to try. The produce is the best around — I really wish I knew where they get it so I could buy mine there too. Subs are stacked high and like all Jersey Mike’s, the meats are sliced right onto your sandwich as its made in front of you. They have cleaned up the store recently and every time I go in, it’s tidy and neat. Best thing about this place: After about my 6th visit the staff recognize me and always offer a warm welcome when I walk in. I love that this place now has the«small town» feel for me. I haven’t figured out how to get on the JM wi-fi yet but there is another network there that I use that’s free with a great signal so sometimes I go in the afternoon and get a lot done. Also — every seat has a view of a TV so it’s a great place to go if it’s just one for lunch as well. Bottom line: Go for the fresh delicious food — enjoy the environment. Recommendation: Club 8 or 9 — «Mike’s Way»

First off, I’ll talk about the food. The subs are all made to order and are much fresher than going to Subway. Jersey Mike’s cuts all of the meats at the same time you order instead of getting prepacked slices like a lot of the other chain sub shops. The quality of the food is definitely better at Jersey Mike’s than any other shop in town. Secondly, this Briarcliff location seems to have gone through some positive changes over the past 3 – 6 months. I went in there summer of 2010 and although the food was good, the service and cleanliness were lacking. However, I’ve gone three times now in the past two months and both the service and cleanliness were much improved. The staff was friendly and attentive and I have absolutely no complaints. I inquired as to the differences and the staff informed me that they recently underwent an ownership/management change. So if you’re looking for a great sandwich at a good location off of Briarcliff and N. Druid Hills, I definitely recommend Jersey Mike’s. If you had tried in the past and weren’t impressed, I suggest you give it another try now that they are under new ownership/management.

I see this location gets a lot of low scores. I was pleased with my in and out during my lunch time. They were super faster than most Jersey Mike chains I’ve been too and they had a lunch time crowd. They were not mean at all. They were very quiet and was there to do what they supposed to do. Make a sandwich. And mine was excellent! They didn’t even judge me when I asked for the(best sub ever) The Super Sub done Mikes Way and I asked for extra oil and vinegar and extra salt and pepper. My sandwhich was the envy of my co workers. Ummmmm. Sorry I just couldn’t share this time.

A/C not working and seriously strong sewer gas issue. Stepped into the restroom to wash my hands and the smell was overpowering — definitely sewer gas. I had to leave. Health dept needs to swing by and contact the building’s owner. Sad.

HORRIBLE! The service at this place inspired me to join, Unilocal just so I could warn others! I know that I’m going to be the odd man out, with a negative review but this was the most insulting, disappointing experience. My boyfriend and I were going to meet in the city after a long day of work for me and a nice day off for him. We decided on Jersey Mike’s of Briarcliff due to the Unilocal reviews and really wanting subs. When we walked in the girl working behind the counter looked up to acknowledge us and that was… well pretty much it. I explained that we were first timers and were excited to try the subs and she didn’t even smile. We decided on the Philly cheesesteaks and to use the after 4 combo special to save money and get a drink and a cookie. While she seemed to grudgingly ask what bread we wanted another employee rang us up. The entire time we were having the transaction he kept WATCHING the TV. Which just so happened to have a story about woman who had her face ripped off by a chimpanzee. …enjoy your food folks! Before we knew it our subs were wrapped up and on the tray. I was rung up but no one had asked what we wanted on the subs or if we didn’t want specific toppings. I tried to shrug it off, but when I saw other customers walking in and getting smiles and better service, I lost it. I asked for a refund and the first time the male employee who rang me up for the original transaction CHARGEDMEAGAININSTEADOFGIVING A REFUND! NOW I have to wait for $ 32.10 to go BACK onto my card instead of the original $ 16 and some odd cents. When I explained that we had a poor experience he seemed to shrug it off and THENCHARGEMEAGAINBEFORE A REFUND. DONOTGOHERE. ITWASTERRIBLE. We left and had an excellent, friendly cozy meal at Panera just up the way in the same shopping center. I highly recommend the new macaroni and Frontera chicken panini special with a Gingerbread Latte. While it ended up being more expensive over all Panera at least gave us a smile. AND it definitely didn’t cost $ 32.10. Please please please do not go to Jersey Mike’s on Briarcliff. If you are looking for good service and a congenial staff DONOT frequent this business.

While I will admit Jersey Mike’s is tastier than Subway’s and Blimpie, it does not burst with as much flavor as Quiznos, Jason’s Deli, or the New Yorker Delicatessen(on Pharr Road). Good but not fabulous sandwiches.

Hands down, this places could topple any Blimpie or Subway; the quality of the food is simply in another league. The staff are very attentive, and quite nice; and they keep the line MOVING. If I am in the mood for a sandwich, I know that if I go to Jersey Mikes, it is going to be fresh, delicious, and filling. Everything I have ever had from this place has been really, really delicious.

Huge subs that easily kick the face off of Subway or Blimpie in the ways of taste simply by the fact that they aren’t fronted by an ex-fatty named Jared. They put real layers of big meat on your fat fat sandwich and willingly dose it with oil and vinegar and other splotches of goodness that make their sandwiches a cut above the others. I did not intend to make the half-pun of ‘cut above’ in a review on a sandwich shop. I usually don’t go to Jersey Mike’s because I try not to blow my belly out each time I eat. I guess if I made their products last for several meals rather than one, then it’d be smarter thinkin’. Though a NY-style deli made into a small chain is a nice thing to see after eating Subway a bit too much. I should really start eating in more.

Subs made to order. They are good not great but the staff is really nice, and deal with indecisive«orderers» like myself. When i just want a sandwich quick that will satisfy I sometimes go here. However a tad more expensive than subway.
