All I got was an oil change, so I can’t comment on how this place is for anything more complicated, but everything went very smoothly. I had set up an appointment, got there a couple of minutes late (which presented no trouble), told the guy at the counter what I needed, and that was that. Forty-​five minutes later, as promised, my car was ready. They didn’t try to upsell me unnecessarily, and when I gave them a half-​off coupon (printed off their website), they accepted it, no questions asked. It ended up being just over $ 18 for the whole process, and they gave me a nicely itemized receipt. Their waiting area is comfortable enough. I’m sure I’ll return to these guys for routine maintenance in the future, even though they’re a bit out of our way.

The guys at Lindbergh Automotive definitely get the gold seal of approval when it comes to customer service. I was instantly at ease upon speaking with Daniel in regards to my 2001 Honda Civic. It had over heated over a few days and the first shop I took it to did a diagnostic and found that I needed MANY expensive items repaired, some of which they no longer had the means to repair. (head gasket, radiator, water pump, thermostat, etc) So, using the print out from the initial auto shop, I listed my issues here on Unilocal and sought out some estimates. I received several replies, including one from JR, the owner of Lindbergh Auto. Although they were not the ‘lowest’ out of all the estimates, I knew I’d made the right decision in taking my car to Lindbergh Automotive. It was a gut feeling! When Daniel disagreed with the severity of damages on my car reported by the other auto shop, he earned my trust. Instead of taking advantage and doing unnecessary repairs, he communicated to me exactly what I needed done and the cost. Daniel continued to stay in contact with me through out this ordeal with any new situations that arose as he began working.
Even though we hit a small bump or two along the way and my car was ‘in shop’ for 5 days, in the end, a job quoted by the ‘previous shop’ to the tune of $ 1800.- $ 2100, quickly became basic cooling issues costing a little more than half that, AND they threw in a FREE hand car wash for my longer than expected wait! The real bonus is this: I now have a shop to return to in case of other car troubles in the future. Peace of mind is PRICELESS! Many thanks to Daniel, Byron, JR and the entire staff at Lindbergh Auto. You guys ROCK!

They were cool guys. Didn’t try to sell me every service they offered. I also saw them take care of an elderly woman the way I’d want my grandmother treated. I’m definitely a fan and customer for life.

I’m writing my first Unilocal review on this place because I truly believe they deserve 5 stars. Just came in for an oil change and used the Unilocal check-​in deal for an oil change and tire rotation for $ 19.99 (a steal) except I knew I didn’t need a tire rotation due to heavy wear on my tires. They subtracted the tire rotation portion of the deal so it was much cheaper! I definitely did not expect that. The regular oil change price without the deal is still a great deal compared to most places.
They let me know my car was unsafe to drive because inside one of my front tire had wear so bad that I needed to get it replaced today along with a tire alignment and let me see it for myself. And I know they weren’t trying to squeeze more business out of me because they didn’t have my tire in stock therefore couldn’t fix it for me in the shop.
I’ll definitely be coming here from now on. Great team, great service. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Excellent service. I have serviced my car here a few times and recently took it in for an oil change and service in prep for a 1,000 mile drive. Great people. They even have me a complimentary ride home! A much more pleasant experience than a dealership or chain. Highly recommend!

I dropped in yesterday, totally unannounced, for an emissions inspection. I was told that there would be a wait of about 30 minutes before looking at my car, but I was actually out of there before a half-​hour was up. I noticed there were other regular customers there, who all seemed to be satisfied. Roland Johnson, at the front desk, was most pleasant and helpful. All in all, a very good experience.

Third time is enough. Initially went here or emission testing. $ 25 no issues. As we were paying, we were told that they do oil changes and the price was very reasonable. Also told that we could just come in and get it done. So about 2 months later I did just that. Problem was that they were too busy to do the oil change. I waited another month or so, but this time called first to make sure. I was told to come right in, but when I got there, again I was told they were too busy. Today, I decided to try one last time. I called as soon as they opened, 8 am, and was told to come in at 11. Guess what, too busy. I tried my best to use a local business but just couldn’t do it. Now sitting at jiffy lube and will be done in 10 minutes.

The team there gives me great service, they are fast and professional. They even picked up and dropped off my car to my job that’s around the corner! I refer my co-​workers and friends there often! They Rock!

This place is awesome! Quick and they’re extremely honest. Also much cheaper than going to the dealership. Refreshments and tv while you wait or you can walk around the Lindbergh area. Will definitely be going here from now on.

I love this place. I have only been here for emissions tests (three years in a row so far) so I can’t comment on their other work, but they are extremely fast and friendly. The waiting room is very clean and comfortable, with a TV and fridge with free sodas. I plan on continuing to give this place my business as long as I live in the area, and will go to them the next time I have a repair need.

Great, professional customer service. Clean waiting room… complimentary diet coke! They changed my oil in about 20 minutes.

These guys are great. I drive out of my way just to get my oil changed here because they are honest, hard-​working mechanics and staff who know their stuff. Roland (who’s there if they’re open) takes excellent care of the customers and explains things really well to those of us who don’t know about cars. I recommend Lindbergh Automotive for all your car maintenance and repair needs.

Finally found a mechanic that I can trust and rely on. These guys are courteous and get me through the process quickly. I’ve been multiple times for multiple things and they’ve always been great to work with. Even rented a truck from there recently. Highly recommend them.

This was the least expensive synthetic oil change I have encountered. They took me immediately upon walking in and changed my wipers.
They informed nothing was else was wrong by giving me a full report. Good service and honest crowd.

It’s a gas station guys… seriously people just use this thing to complain sometimes. It’s going to cost you an additional $ 6 for your air filter? That bothers you? Really? At least the place told you before they did it. I appreciate my local gas station for supplying me gas… Someone left a bad review because of day laborers… really? I just feel bad for the owners that are working hard and have these angry Unilocalers trash them. Luckily no body really uses Unilocal to find a gas station so no big deal!

Happy with this shop

While so many auto repair shops nickle and dime you, this place has repeatedly proven to be the exception. They are friendly and care greatly to maintain customer relationships. Today I went in because my car’s overly sensitive coolant signal said the coolant was low. They inspected my car and topped my coolant off for free! Again, they care more about your satisfaction than your wallet so that you will return.

Popped in her for an emissions test on the day of my birthday… Mark and team were great! I knew I was going to fail as my check engine light was on and when I had taken my car to Lexus dealership they had told me xyz that my engine mounts needed to be replaced for $ 2000. I said okay… be right back.
Mark did a diagnostic check on my car and concluded that only one mount needed to be replaced which they did for a nominal price compared to Lexus! Check engine light disappeared he told me to go drive the car for 20 miles and come back and VOLIA emission test passed!
