Fabulous place to eat snd drink before my flight out of D Concourse at ATL. Very efficient and friendly staff, especially our server, Yolanda. She was so good at her job-aware that we all had flights. I had the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos –delicious. I loved the Waffle Fries, which we’re flavorful and crispy.

Horrible restaurant. They were out of several breakfast items listed on the menu. A tiny, rotted half strawberry was on my plate with my eggs and toast. Service is subpar.

Food– ok? Got the seafood sampler app-calamari was super good, but crab cakes were greasy and shrimp was meh. Service– Francisco was horrible! Absolutely zero personality, and politely waving for his attention was pointless. Once Johnny took over at least there was at least a little personality and attention behind the bar. If not for him it would’ve been even less stars. Not too sure about Atlanta or Augusta. No matter how I try to be friendly with people, I get nothin’ back! I thought the south was friendly?

Decent food, awful service. You need at least an hour and 15 minutes for a salad with crab and an ice tea.

I had a layover in Atlanta before heading over the pond to the UK. I decided to check out what others had to say about some of the restaurants at Hartsfield-Jackson. After seeing the reviews and ratings of One Flew South, how could I not try it. It was a very nice place for the airport fare! I tried the dragon roll which was excellent. It makes layovers something to look forward to… in Atlanta anyway.

They got 2 stars for their service because their food is horrendous. The lobster roll is $ 23 of nasty tasting salad. At least the fries were good

Had lunch before flight. Everything is fresh service was good. Had blackened Mahi Mahi with fruit and vegetables. It came out nice and hot, place is a little cramp with luggage but it’s the airport :)

Disappointing meal(crab cake ‘special’). Why is it that airport food is always so bad? Doesn’t matter what you pay– it tastes like crap and you’re expected to be glad you pay $ 50? Again, bad customer service– I mean these people are getting paid to take care of customers, right? So what’s with the big attitude? Get over yourself and be glad you have a fucking job for chrissake!

Wow there are a lot of haters of Philips in ATL! If I have time, I will go out of my way(meaning, flight in ‘T’ Concourse) to go to Phillips. I always order the crab cake sandwich, substituting the fries with hush puppies. Is it a «mom-and-pop» Baltimore restaurant quality Crab Cake? No, but it is better than 90% of the filler-filled crab cakes you will find elsewhere outside of Baltimore. I generally sit at the bar. Bartenders are always attentive, service is always quick and with a smile. Plus there’s plenty of outlets just beneath the bar. Food is somewhat pricey, drinks are ATL-airport standard(although the ‘doubles’ are a good deal).

Traveling the east coast, Phillips is in quite a few airports and I will often stop in and grab a lunch or just a beer depending on the time. When ATL got one here at the airport — Concourse D, I stopped in as I was on my way to Houston and felt like some crab. The crab cake sandwich for and airport location was pretty damn good. Sure, not the best crab cake you ever had but quite good, presented well, and the waffle fries were hot and crispy. Got a Sam Adams to compliment it and ended up staying to wait for a flight pretty long .Food came out quick– important– so since I stayed a bit– I ordered another one. I’ve had the lobster roll here as well, which also was tasty but a bit more mix than I like and quite pricey but I didn’t leave a bite! Airport prices apply but happy I stopped in. Its a chain and I’ve been to the one at Providence RI, yes– did seem to be better there but happy here in ATL. Staff was on point, so if you have some time to spare, try it out. I was pleasantly surprised and will certainly go back if I get stuck or arrive to early for my flight around lunch time.

The mini crab cake were fine, I was not crazy about the sweet potato bites. The service was friendly. It’s a ok place to eat at the Atlanta airport, but I guess I will not be back.

Poor food. Tasteless and greasy. Service was good– the only redeeming quality. There are far too many options in the airport to waste your time and money. Go with the obvious — when you’re in a crowded airport with lines at almost every place to eat and you see a bunch of tables — there is a reason. The photo of no one sitting isn’t meant to show off their eating space — it’s a tell that you should avoid this place.

Stopped in to Phillips because I don’t get to have blue crab that often. I got the Crab Cake Sandwich and it was decent but my partner got the Fish Tacos and they weren’t so great. First, the Crab Cake Sandwich was typical, normal sized crab cake on a bun with(wilted) lettuce and slab of(old looking) tomato. I don’t like lettuce and tomato on my crab cake sandwich so I didn’t really care. It was hot and tasty but nothing too wow about it. The Fish Tacos were in super dry(to the point of cracking) flour tortillas with small chunks of what appeared to be frozen fish stick type fish and all of the sauce in the very middle of the«taco». Not realizing that the sauce was all dumped in the middle, it made eating the first half very dry and boring. With a tortilla that dry and crumbly, sauce is needed. It was too hard to disperse the sauce on the second taco. Just not very good. Wouldn’t order them again. We wished we’d seen the Five Guys down the hall prior to stumbling across the Phillips. I think we’d have changed our minds on our pick for lunch.

First the hostess erroneously that they could change the channel on one of the monitors to the football game you wanted(why I went in), then I got the salad and crab was off! Just paid and left bc I had already wasted enough time. Never again

I had the Lobster Ravioli and I can say this is by far the worst meal I had in a long time.

This is for the breakfast. I had a bit of time on a layover. Could i get a real breakfast? And no, Popeyes doesn’t count. So I stumbled by this place looking through Unilocal. So glad I did. It’s an upscale breakfast and really very good. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Two eggs, sausage, hash browns, coffee. Yum! Cooked perfectly. If you’re looking for a solid breakfast, this was a great little find.

I wouldn’t come back to this place ever … The fries were COLD after I waited for 35 minutes to get my food and I asked her if I could get a salad instead of the fries and she shrugged her shoulder stay FAR away from this Place!!!

What a wonderful find during our layover in ATL today! My daughter and I were looking for a place to sit and enjoy an appetizer or small meal before our connecting flight and we found Phillips down the way in the concourse. We shared the Seafood Sampler appetizer. It had fried butterfly shrimp, mini crab cake bites and fried calamari and sweet potato tots! Everything was cooked perfectly and the three dipping sauces were great. I am normally not big on tartar sauce but theirs really knocked it out of he park. I also enjoyed the pineapple chili dipping sauce and ate it on most everything! I have to tell you the service was so nice! Fast and friendly and really perfect! Cindy was a fantastic waitress. We would definitely stop here again on a layover! You should, too!

Thought that the lobster bisque was great. Large bowl, creamy and smooth. Cinnamon sprinkled on top. Yum. Had the yellowfin tuna(nicely cooked) with Philips coleslaw(not bad either) and hush puppies(which were moist and tasty). Service was fast and drinks quickly refilled. Even though most of the seats were filled in the afternoon. Perhaps not the same quality as the Jekyll Island Seafood restaurant in Terminal E, but I will be coming back. They are located right by the escalator on the right into Terminal D.

I didn’t particularly care for the crab omelette. Not much flavor, though it was my first crab omelette so maybe just not the dish for me. I’ll come back and try lunch/dinner and then revise. My waitress was great.

Everyone here is so nice! I got the sampler because i didn’t know what i wanted and was cranky from flying. Dont let the little basket fool you. It is jam packed with tasty bits. Everything came out fresh and hot and perfectly cooked and fast. What more could i possibly ask for? Oh electrical outlets. They have those in spades. Yes!!!

Great service and friendly employees. The host was nice enough to offer me a spot with a plug-in to charge my phone/whatever. Extremely bland food(fried shrimp/fries). Literally numbingly cold. Bring a jacket… or two. They don’t want you linger.

Went here for lunch as I waited for my plane in Atlanta. The place is nice and very nicely modeled. The bar is nice and open and the staff is very friendly. The manager came around asking if everything was ok and that is nice. I had the fish tacos and they were not good. The fish was fried too hard and was very salty. The slaw on top was a bit dry and lacked flavor. The meal came with seasoned fries and they were ok. I gave them 3 stars because if the food. I will go back and try something different just because I want to believe there has to be better food here.

I was in Atlanta Terminal D during my 3hr stopover on the way to Green Bay, WI. I checked this place out on Unilocal & decided to give it a chance. I was seated immediately and my server was courteous and very helpful in asking questions I had about the menu. I ordered the seafood sliders, crabcakes minis, sweet potato bites and a mango peach Cosmo. I liked the sweet potato bites and sliders, the slaw & crab cakes I was disappointed. Where I was sitting I had a power outlet to charge my cell phone which was great. An ok place but not great. Not a bad resta

Phillips Seafood is good at truck stops in Deleware, so in a nice setting like this(even inside an airport) it could be grounds for overkill. They took a really nice approach to making their little corner of the airport as nice as possible. This is the only Phillips I have been to with cloth napkins. The reason I am harping on how nice the place is because there really is no reason for it. The type of food offerend doesn’t need to be on fine china, because all that does is dress up mediocre food. I am not one to criticize mediocre food, but I will do it when it is trying to pass itself off gourmet. This review is not bashing their food, and I wouldn’t tell someone to stay away. Actually now that I’m reading this back to myself, I might bring more people to the place because they thought it might be too nice to grab a bite. Trust me, It is not and you will be happy, just a little lighter in the wallet then you should be.

Stopped in for lunch and went with a Unilocaler’s insight for the blackened tuna(yellowfin) with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies(all other sides were fried or mayo laden). The yellowfin was supposed to be seared and rare but at best was medium. It was definitely seasoned but the fish was not flavorful. Fish was dry, a little tough, and didn’t taste very fresh. Luckily a lemon and the pineapple cilantro salsa picked it up enough to get through the protein. Mashed potatoes were clearly from a powder mix and veggies were standard, steamed green beans and carrots with a couple slices of red pepper. Friendly, quick service and it looked and sounded like the bisque at the next table was thoroughly enjoyed but I doubt I’ll be back to taste it.

I love seafood, if you are in Atlanta at the airport near the terminal D you must make a pit stop here, I love the place so much that I did my stop twice, when I arrived in Atlanta and when I was going back home. They are very fast, a good thing if you are traveling in a hurry. I recommend eating the waffle fries with shrimp delightful dish; I love the spicy flavor that were in the shrimps and the different type of salsa that came with it, very juice and fresh.
