If you’re a gun enthusiast, are in favor of legal concealed carry, or have been shooting more than twice in your life, you are better off somewhere else. At this range, they will treat you like a child the entire time. I’m not sure if they do it because they are trying to cater exclusively to brand-new shooters, or if they have rough clientele who need to be supervised, but either way it’s annoying. First off, there’s a sign on the door that says«holstered firearms must be unloaded with the slide locked back». I was aghast — did they really not allow concealed carry here? At a range? The staff did explain that they don’t care«as long as they can’t see it», but the sign didn’t specify that. They did note that they specifically prohibit open carry, which is insane. Open carry is legal in Georgia for anyone who has a carry license, and this is the only range I’ve ever been to which wasn’t friendly to it. The range safety officer was nice, but did spend a lot of time going over rules which I already know like the back of my hand. When our target carrier failed and we had to switch lanes, the RSO insisted that we couldn’t move our own guns between lanes, it had to be done by an employee. I know how to clear my firearms and move them a lane over without violating any safety rules, I did get them here on my own after all. The facility was fairly nice and clean and well-kept, though it’s only 20 yards long — most indoor ranges are 25 or greater. I will definitely not be back and will discourage others from going. There are lots of places I can spend my shooting dollars, and I will not choose to spend them at a place that’s not friendly to legal carry.

The range has better noise dampening than most ranges but the length of the range itself leaves quite a bit to be desired. The staff is friendly but unsettlingly youthful. They are very anal about safety which is a good thing but as an experienced shooter I felt like I was being pestered. You aren’t allowed to shoot from a holster or carry in the building despite having a carry permit. Frankly I go to the range to train and practice without being scolded for legally carrying in a gun range or being hold I can’t holster my weapon while reloading. I think I will be training at another range where I don’t feel like to am being babysat by the staff. Stay safe.

This was my first visit to this location with my in-laws and wife. Arrived about 10am on Sunday and we were the only one on the range. We enjoyed an hour worth of practice with our own handguns and ammunition. Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful and knowledgable. Automatic weapons available for rental. Cons: Limited stall space, a bit expensive on Sunday. Overall it was a good experience. I would definitely visit again.

Thank you Bob, Emily, and Andrew in Buckhead for a wonderful experience with our 16 yr old. You made his birthday special. You 3 were so professional, hospitable, and knowledgeable for us first time shooters. We loved your facility. It was uncluttered, clean, and had a great vibe. Thank you for taking pix and emailing them to us. We’ll certainly be back!

So I finally gave this location another chance. They have new instructors. Praise the lord they got rid of the lady who didn’t know the different ammo types. So I learned this new target stance that immediately improved my target shot. This is the thing many instructors have different styles of teaching and stances that keeps you grounded and stable. I never knew a slight adjustment to my stance would perfect my bullseye! Yippy I learned something new and I learned how to breakdown my glock. I need some women who like to shoot for ladies nights though.

First time at a shooting range and I loved it! The staff is what made my experience stand out. Kelly was extremely helpful and incredibly nice. She was also very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on which gun would be best for me to try first. Deon was also genuinely nice and especially informative knowing it was my first time there. He gave great instructions about proper gun handling and safety. He also gave me some good tips on shooting the target. I will definitely be back!

Saw their deal on Groupon and gave the whole gun a shot ! Walking into this place I was a little caught off guard on how easy it is to get your hands on a firearm. But once I got over that, this was a very nice experience and nothing what I expected a gun range to be. First thing when we walked we were greeted by a very friendly staff and within minutes we were on our way to shooting. They do try to up sell you pretty regularly to rent a full auto machine gun. Which initially I was opposed to since I had never fired a gun before and was concerned about shooting my eye out. I quickly got over that fear after I shot a few rounds. The Groupon included a Gun, protection for eyes and ears, and 1 target. Bullets and additional targets are sold separately. This can get pricey. 509 mm bullets cost us $ 30. When we got to the range the tech did a great job of going over gun handling and safety tips quickly. He was present at all times and you can tell he is the definition of a gun enthusiasts. I really liked the experience but the price tag is a bit high unless you have your own gun and equipment. I may try to go on one of their many promotional nights if I return. They have a waiting area with couches and complimentary coffee.

Our group of 6 had great time! The place is very nice and definitely caters to the whole buckhead scene. Had donuts and coffee and some candy in a comfortable lounge area. I was a little worried having such a big group of first time shooters. I was the only one with some experience and was not sure how this would go over but the staff was extremely helpful with getting us checked in and giving information about the available firearms to rent. We went on the 4th of july so they had some good deals cutting out the cost of rental and basically just charging for ammo. After everyone selected their gun of choice they split us up between two lanes. The staff was extremely helpful explaining the basics of operating a firearm for the rookies in out group. Obviously there is A LOT that goes into proper firearm safety and operation but he did a darn good job covering lots of info in a short amount of time. They are strict on their rules and have people watching closely which is good for beginners. We also had the opportunity to fire some full-auto weapons. The MP5, M4, and AK47 were tons of fun. They are really good at selling it encouraging you to get more mags. It can get quite expensive but it is worth the experience. Our group had a good time and no one had any complaints. Only issue I had was the price for ammo. Despite the incentives to get you in the door, their box of 9 mm ammo seems to be marked up a few bucks. The receipt did not do a good job outlining what we paid for and we did not realize that different targets had different prices. Can’t imagine going in there on a day where they are not having any deals. Shooting a full auto weapon would be twice as expensive so it is definitely worth it when they offer free rentals. All in all, for a group of 6 we spent about 330. The biggest chunk of that was 4 mags for the M4, 2 mags for the AK47, and 3 Mags for the MP9. Not bad at all.

First visit after going to multiple ranges in my life… disorganized. One person assigns a lane the range officers no nothing about it. Tried to purchase ammo and target, everyone confused. Disorganized ranges get people hurt… no thanks.

Quite impressed with this place. The staff was phenomenal, fun, personal, interactive, professional, & knowledgeable. All of us had done ranges prior to this one, yet we still needed a refresher and the guys there were more than happy to assist us. They have different themed shooting nights here and the option of different deals and memberships as well. I came with my friends and we shot .22’s, 9 mm’s, & even a semi auto. I enjoyed thoroughly. Definitely a stress reliever.

Great staff but insanely expensive compared to every other range I have been to. Warning: If you rent a gun from them you will have to pay for their ammo that they sell which is anywhere from $ 5 — $ 10 more per box than anywhere else that sells ammo and there is no difference in quality. I would recommend looking into Sandy Springs Gun Club which is more busy but a good deal cheaper.

Quickshot is quite possibly the nicest range I’ve ever been to. The reception area is spacious and has a sitting area with snacks and coffee. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They have a variety of targets and guns to choose from. If you’re in the area, definitely check out quickshot!

waiting area is nice, convenient for waiting. staff are friendly. had groupon deal for MP5. it was fun, it was nice to have employee next to you since there were issues w MP5 such as jamming, so he ended up bringing another one that didnt jam. but in terms of handgun and having a babysitter as someone pointed out in other review could be a downside unless a person never shot and needs one. decent place.

What a fantastic way to spend a Friday night! Myself and 5 other friends visited their Buckhead location and had a blast. We took advantage of a recent Groupon special and we’re happy we did because we definitely enjoyed every minute we were there and will be sure to make future visits with new friends. That saying of «time flies when you’re having fun» was so true in our case. Their location is very easy to find. It’s the building right near Greens liquor store off of Buford Hwy NE in Buckhead. (Note: Make sure if you are going to «GPS» is that you included«NE» after Buford Hwy or you’re be circling around Doraville lost and confused.) One of the first things you notice when you walk in is the clean, bright and spacious layout with modern décor. Everything from the complimentary coffee and cookies to the plush brown pleather sets make your initial impression of this place very inviting and pleasant. We were greeted by Justin and Janan who were both helpful in explaining how our experience will occur from start to finish. Both Justin and Janan were very easy to work with and super patient with us as we ask our questions and address our concerns. The range itself has plenty of space as well. They have 12 booths and the set up is simple with plenty of room to keep your distance as shells fly all over the place. Gavin was helping all 6 of us inside the gun range and he took great care of us there as well. We shot the MP5, Taurus 40 Cal, S&W 22 Cal, Glock 9MM. The MP5 was definitely a crowd favorite and Janan was wonderful at showing each one of us how to shoot the machine gun for the first time. This is definitely a MUSTVISIT location if it’s your first time or 100th time shooting guns. One thing that is unique about this company is they do not sell any firearms. You are able to bring your own and bullets but this is not a place you visit to buy firearms. Their ear protectors are awesome, have plenty of fun targets to choose from, you can purchase bullets here and their hourly rates are reasonable/competitive. Quickshot also offers annual membership rates & corporate event options. CHECKTHEMOUT! You and your friends will definitely want to come back for a second visit!
