Even after reading some of the negative reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try. We are so glad that we did. First, the restaurant is very attractive and clean. Our server, Sonia, was perfect. She was friendly, polite, and attentive. Our food was freshly prepared and very tasty. It was a positive and pleasant experience.

I chose to eat at store #6296 Camp Creek location on 04÷29÷16 because I had a taste for Shrimp Pasta and wanted to finally use my Gift Certificate. I wish I had passed it by to be honest. I made it a point to go to this location because it was close to home even though I was traveling from Dunwoody. We had about a 20 minute wait. No problem I expected that. What I didn’t expect was to have the worst service ever from your server Tyleeshia J. She approached our table stating«Well since you two are talking I don’t want to interrupt you.» I just looked at my friend like is she serious? This server was so not friendly. I understand the restaurant was packed, she may have been overloaded etc but in the service industry sometimes you have to grit and bear it due to the bigger picture. We ordered drinks, salad, appetizer. We received our drinks and salad along with biscuits only. We talked so long it had to be a good 25 minutes before we saw her again. She brought out our entrees and wasn’t going to say anything about our appetizer. When we asked where was it she said a cook had a seizure and the kitchen was backed up. Hmmm I might not have said that to a customer but it would have been understood had she checked on her table and gave an explanation. She advised we could get it for free if we still wanted it. My friend said yes she did. By then i was just over it eating dinner at all and wanted my food boxed. She brought the appetizer already boxed and seem like she just placed it on the table like she had a problem with us. I was so ready to go. I hate that because this is my neighborhood location and I like to keep revenue in East Point. I would probably visit the restaurant again but it won’t be any time soon. A complaint has been sent to Red Lobster.

We were seated immediately upon entry. However, there were quite a few people waiting in the lobby for seats when we were leaving. I enjoyed my meal, I think it was a Pick Your Own Seafood Trio, the scallops were quite tasty. Be careful, they cost extra. My date had the the lobster cocktail, but it came out with no cocktail sauce. We asked no less than 3 people for the sauce, and it never came. Finally, we got up and asked the very handsome host, Jovan, and he got it in less than 30 seconds. Deduct a star for having to go through so much drama just for something that should have come with the meal. Which by the way, Jovan(I think that’s his name), the host from Boston, MASS, with the great sandy colored afro, is VERY handsome ladies, and a charming and polite host.

Server was ok I just like my table to be cleaned off before I get my entrée we still had the salad plates on the table from the first course and he had the nerve to have suggested tip face up on the check lol hmm you were a order taker and food runner very minimum

This Red Lobster was average for the chain. The building was nice and very clean. We went for lunch on a Thursday and did not have a wait time which was nice considering it is a busy location. Our food was good and we were given a lot of their rolls. The lobster tank was really sad(only a few in there) so we ordered shrimp and mussels. These were excellent. Big complaint was our waitress. She was rude and ignored us throughout our dining experience. Otherwise, pretty good service.

I went to this restaurant today and I got the Endless Shrimp platter which was so good! I know people have complained about the slow service but this is one of the busiest locations in the Atlanta area so I’m not sure how people can assume such quickness. Camp Creek is busy on a constant. Also they have 20 plus waiters on the floor at all times. I can say this because I’ve been going to this Red Lobster since I was in 3rd grade(lol). This location was previously located on Old National Hwy and then got moved to Camp Creek a while ago. I’ve talked to the manager a few times and he’s great too — he was going around tonight asking customers if they were satisfied. My service was a little slow tonight but it didn’t bother me since my food was great and my waiter gave me extra food to-go. It has better service and food than the other red lobsters I’ve gone too in the Atlanta area

So this wasn’t my first time at this Red Lobster, but uhh, it was probably my last. This place has really gone down over the years. I don’t know if there is a different management, different staff, or just maybe even some of the patrons that cause a decline. We usually take my grandmother here for her birthday because she always raves about those biscuits. We looked into other restaurants but with it being so last minute we took her here because she likes it. The wait was typical for a Saturday afternoon– around 4pm. It was a 45 min wait. Once seated the service was SLOWSLOWSLOW! It seemed like it took forever to get everything– even the check. And once we gave our payment it took FOREVER just to get that back. Then when the waiter returned, he tells us the credit card system is down and he had to manually run each card. Then he comes back with the carbon copies(the old time system of running the credit cards) and he had ran my cousin’s card for my meal and had to go do it over. Needless to say, I’d wish I’d paid with cash so I could have just got up and left. The service was just bad. And the food wasn’t all that great either. I order a crab cake… and I only«picked over it»…I love crab cake and was disappointed but didn’t want to waste more time sending it back. All in all, we were at this location from about 4pm until almost 8pm with a party of no more than 10. RIDICULOUS. So we have already decided, next year Grandma has to eat somewhere else… unless she REALLLYYY wants RL, then we’ll just go to another location.

So is it a new thing at Red Lobster? I ordered the calamari and there were mostly fried broccoli in it. I told the waitress I was allergic to broccoli and she failed to tell me that was what I was ordering. I paid $ 8.99 for a measly plate of shriveled up calamari with tons of broccoli. The waitress was friendly but she dropped the ball on that one. Just wanted to inform you calamari lovers out there to ask your waitress first before you order if you’re ordering a plate of calamari or fried veggies.

I visited today with my husband for our monthly date. We really enjoyed our server, he was very entertaining and attentive(believe his name was Darrell). I believe that this restaurant could be a tad bit better though. They seemed quite busy, but there is no excuse for dirty silverware and table; yes, we had those issues. I was not really cool with that, but like I said before(the server made it a bearable experience.) Would I go back to this particular Red Lobster? Probably not. I enjoy the one on Northlake Pkwy a lot more.

The worst service. I don’t know if my waitress was new or what but getting a drink was near impossible after I was able to get her attention once I sat down. She seemed so confused. I don’t think she’s ever heard of Pino Noir. And she had to come back to ask if I wanted a six or nine ounce. Then I had to ask what happened to it when she brought my salad. A few minutes later it came. The food was as good as you’d expect from A Red Lobster. But the service was atrocious.

Went here for my uncle’s birthday June 27 around 7PM. Food was hot and good. No real complaints. Admiral Feast is always the way to go. All of the servers were VERY good. They helped us out at every turn. Helped sing the birthday song. Asked if there was anything we needed; some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. Make sure you look out for them if you had the same exemplary service that we did. The supervisor stood around and sort of did nothing though; I guess with the quality of waiters and waitresses that were there, he was not needed. When we have went to other Red Lobsters in a large party, the manager usually comes by just to ‘acknowledge’ everything was going okay — which is why it stood out in my mind…

Service was bad… food is good. Sadly I knew going into the restaurant that we were going to get bad service(not as bad as Chilis on Camp Creek) but I knew it would be bad. This place has a great location but truly… I mean truly needs to step on BASIC service such as: refill drinks, checking back on table, sharing some specials and just an occasional smile would be nice. I hope they get it together… because the location alone will not be able to serve as a crutch for bad service.

This location is hit or miss… the food is usually good but the service is 9 times out of 10HORRIBLE. Their fresh fish tastes good, but dont get the Rainbow Trout! It smells so fishy I’ve tried it twice and same thing. The service is so bad here… I sat at the bar for 20 minutes before anyone even greeted me and gave me a menu. If you have time to waste then go here because the food is good, but the service will piss you off. The only reason I’ve come back is because it is so convenient. If you you can find another red lobster go there!

Just say No. Ate here on Easter Sunday(not my choice) because they didn’t have a wait. That should have been our first clue to leave. All of the other restaurants in the area had 1hr+ waits but their parking lot was empty. Not a good sign. We were hungry so we went in. There were plenty of open tables and but it took a while for us to sit down. Our server was decent at the beginning but about midway through the meal she was MIA. We all had empty drinks. We ordered two appetizers… both had to be sent back. The food took like 45 min to come out even though the restaurant was empty. I’m not sure what they were doing. My brother ordered salmon and they brought him Tilapia. Then they tried to pass off the Tilapia as Salmon. The mgr came over, looked at it then asked him what he ordered. He didn’t even know what it was but assured us it was Salmon like people don’t know the difference between Tilapia and Salmon. Ridiculous. I keep reading about how Red Lobster isn’t doing well… I def see why now. Walmart has the cheddar bay biscuit box so you can make those biscuits at home. That’s the only thing that’s good there anyway. I will definitely not be going back.

Let me begin by saying: I have hyped up Red Lobster so much for the past 5 years because I’ve never been to one. The commercials up North in New England make it seem SOGOOD! I just moved to Atlanta a couple weeks ago and decided that my boyfriend and I would go out for our first dinner and I basically dragged him into going there. My bad, seriously. We get there, we’re seated quickly. Cool. We waited almost 10 minutes for our server. She was nice, but that’s all I can give. We really wanted to splurge because it was our first time so we ordered the mussels for an appetizer and got two drinks. The mussels were delicious, but more than half of them weren’t open. If you know food, you know that if they’re not open, don’t eat ‘em. So boom. There goes our money for 6 mussels. Kind of disappointed but hoping our dinners would be better, we waited and waited and WAITED for our entrees. Two families that came in after us, got their dinners. We were heated. The waitress told us twice that our food was coming out soon. But come on! Don’t lie! We get the food. We both ordered the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake and both were ‘OKAY’ with the meals. My boyfriend’s rice was hard, the shrimp were ‘meh’ and the lobster tail didn’t really have that fresh, lobster taste. It seemed like it was grilled too long. The only really good thing about our dishes was the broccoli… REALLY? For the cost, Red Lobster is HIGHLY over rated, the service was not good, and the food was just OK. Maybe it was just this establishment, but I am now going to have to rethink going out to any other Red Lobster :(

There is something about Red Lobster that I love. It just may be those cheddar bay biscuits. Okay it is, but I also like the food pretty good. I realize this is not upscale dining, but It’ll do. This location is okay in the Camp Creek Market Place shopping plaza. I’m not a fan of the employees who greet you because really, you have to greet them. When we went the other night, they gave us the beeper and then sat 5 or 6 parties before us as we waited. I finally went up to ask when we were going to get seated and they asked for the beeper number and my name and then gave me the duh-i-dunno-what-happened look. Annoying. OMG the sights you can see here are amazing. Amazing in a that’s-grossly-inappropriate-what-you-have-on, why-are-you-so-loud, there-are-no-words-for-that-right-there kind of way. You can see it all here. Our service was pretty good once we were seated. As usual, I filled up on my salad and the bread and could not eat all of my food. That’s what I do and I like it. I like RL’s grilled shrimp selections, garlic shrimp scampi, crab alredo, lobster and crab stuffed mushrooms, and I can never be thrown a scallop I don’t like. Anyway, I’ll always find my way to a Red Lobster from time to time.
