They have the best selection of liquor stores that I have found in the area. Their prices are comparable to other liquor stores in the area. I did not see any cigars, which is always nice to be able to get a good cigar and your alcohol in one location. The store is s little small or overpacked. I guess that is what you get if you want them to carry as much as they do. Other than that the store is clean and the staff was friendly.

Compared to St. Paul, Atlanta sure doesn’t have many liquor stores. This one is great. While not large, the selection of whiskeys, bourbons, and other spirits is as large as many giant stores that I’ve been to. What’s nice is that they have a lot of the more obscure brands. I like this place!

This store opened a few years ago and there was a bit of controversy at first«It being so close to a strip club that had wanted to open a store for many years.» Good prices and plenty of things to choose from they keep the shelves packed. Wine, beer & spirits there is also a random selection of mini’s which I am a fan of sometimes I want to try something different without having to commit to an entire bottle.

For such a tiny store they have a pretty good selection. I’m not well versed in many alcoholic drinks so when I had a question the guy behind the counter walked me around and explained a few differences between vodkas. The people who run the store are quiet and respectful. The aisles are tiny, so you may have trouble moving around if you’re on the heavier side.

What can you really say about a liquor store? hmm. First off, I guess I’m proud to be the duchess of Royal Package Store, though my title may be dropped soon. And secondly, the owners/staff are very disarming and kind. It’s not a high brow liquor store, but it’s also not some thug-nasty place, you’re weary of stepping into. They have a fairly decent selection of wine & imported beer, and I particularly like their whiskey selection. Yeah, the place is kinda cramped, but what can ya do? It’s a liquor store, not Wal-Mart. That’s about it. Now I’m gonna take the wine I purchased from Royal Package and rub a dub dub and drink some wine in the tub.

This is the best place to buy your booze between The Prado and Buckhead. Royal Package is my neighborhood joint. Can I please tell you how excited I was when a liquor store opened on my street? Not very. But then I got to know Henry(the owner) and quickly learned having the ability to buy booze on the corner is a really good thing. Henry always hooks me up. If there’s something not in stock, all I have to do is tell him and he’ll order it. He even scored me Crème de Violet so I can make my favorite drink: The Violet Disregard: equal parts, gin, violet liquer and soda poured over fresh, muddled strawberries, blackberries, blueberries. A sprig of fresh mint(if available) makes this libation sublime. Also, it really helps out local businesses if you pay with cash. The credit card companies absolutely rape businesses on erroneous fees. I had no idea how bad it was but now I always strive to pay with cash. Please support your local liquor establishment by buying your booze there instead of the big chain grocery stores. And please pay with Washingtons, not Viasa :)

It looks pretty fancy from the outside(it’s also larger than it looks!). I only went there to grab one thing(a bottle of vodka) and was pleased to find that they carried my brand of vodka — it’s getting easier to find with time, but it’s still not carried everywhere. It was also priced exactly the same here as at any other liquor store I’ve visited. I also appreciated their fairly large selection of $.99 shots. I don’t drink frequently, but I’m a complex drinker(lots of mixed drinks with various flavors and types of alcohol) and I rarely have the money to buy all of my preferred alcohol outright. So shot bottles are a great way for me to go in a pinch. So thumbs-up for that! I didn’t look around much outside of the vodka section, but it seemed fairly well stocked. You might have to go to Tower or Green’s for the really obscure stuff, but this does nicely as your basic neighborhood liquor store. I’ll probably be back.

This strip of road could be a good base for a bachelor party, now that there’s a liquor store between the long quarter-mile walk from the gentlemen’s club to the Waffle House, thanks to Royal Package. The store itself is clean and pretty well-stocked, though it’s a bit cramped.(When I went to grab a 6 pack of bottles off one of the lower shelves in the cooler, I had to finagle it at an angle since the shelves were so close together.)
Prices seem comparable to grocery stores in the area. #Yelp365 — 2⁄365
