I have been frequenting Señor Patrons since it opened. Very good food. .especially the enchiladas verdes. Drink specials daily from beer to margaritas. Friendly staff, witty bartenders and a nice patio. I live across the street and am happy to have them in the neighborhood!

The drinks are good and strong, the staff is super friendly including the managers and the food is always great! Oliver is the best! The prickly pear margarita is a must!

The food here is good and given in large portions, but volume should not replace quality! The taco salad was more taco than salad, but the queso dip was quite pleasant. Unfortunately, we were seated next to the bathroom and got quite a few whiffs of what was going on in there, and the staff did not consider moving us. However, they were quite nice about everything else.

Came during my weekend here in Atlanta. My sisters and I were looking for a place to eat and we came across Señor Patrón. Upon arrival, you probably won’t notice this is the place because its sign is very monotone and it does not match the persona of a Mexican-themed restaurant aims to be. The hostess was very nice and walked us to our table as soon as we walked in. Our waiter was also very nice and attentive. He checked up on us throughout our whole stay. This place also as very affordable, yet great food. I had the Señor Burrito which came with steak, chicken and shrimp; with a side of rice, beans and guacamole. As far as drinks go, I had the Bacardi mojito(priced at $ 5!), the guava margarita, and the sangria margarita. All were pretty good and set at great prices. I also liked the ambiance in here, the space felt very open and refreshing. If I lived in Atlanta I would definitely come here frequently!

Good folks, excellent margarita’s. Rauol, the General manager who’s name I just butchered has improved it quite a bit over what it was in my opinion. The folks are very nice and the food is consistent. This is a place to go for fun, to watch a sporting event, or something laid back. If you want Mexican for a quieter and more romantic type dinner, head do to Mi Cocina, but for most of the times, this is a easy decision.

Great spot with great drink specials. How can you beat $ 5 shots of Patron? Answer: you can’t. The food is really good as well. I haven’t had a bad plate of food yet. I really enjoy the beef flautas. The service is always attentive and quick. If you’re in the mood for Mexican food while in Midtown, you’ll enjoy this place.

Nope nope nope. My fiancée and I live nearby, and we used to come here weekly. After a management switch, it’s all gone downhill. Twice now(yes, we gave them another chance after the first time) we have been seated, given our drinks, and then abandoned. The first time we sat there for 45 minutes until I finally was able to find our server again and ask him to just give us the check. Tonight we were sitting for thirty minutes, within eyesight and earshot of the server(who was yelling at a televised soccer match about how great Luis Suarez is). He never came back over. He was texting on his phone when we finally approached the hostess’ station, where ALLOFTHEFRONTSTAFF(including the manager) was just sitting and chatting idly. When we walked up, they all scattered and tried to look busy. It was ridiculous. The hostess had a really bad attitude when I asked to just pay for our cokes and leave. How many other patrons have just gotten up and left after being forgotten? I’m sure there are more than a few. The sad thing — this restaurant used to be packed on a regular basis. The last two times we’ve showed up, it’s been empty, with nothing but the sound of really bad mid-00’s dance music and the chatter of the manager and serving staff to fill the air. The old wait staff was friendly, attentive, and they knew us(we’re both generally nice people who tip well). The only people who seem to actually do work there now are the folks in the kitchen and the people who bus the tables and set out the chips and salsa. Well done to them. Don’t waste your time here like we did(twice).

Great for sitting outside on good weather. They have pretty good drink specials– except not in Saturdays. Their margaritas are huge and pretty strong– no skimping on alcohol here. They bring out chips and salsa when you are seated. Good crowd on a Saturday early evening.

This is a place in heart of midtown! Considering me and my husband have been to several Mexican places, we love Mexican food! I had burrito supremo and my husband had taco enchilada and burrito combo! The food was superbly tasty — loved it! From salsa to salad to everything it was superb! The ambiance of the restaurant is good! It’s blend of pub and restaurant — not very fancy but great with disco lights! I am giving one star less just because of the service, the person serving us looked new and was not sure what they offer! So they can work a bit on training their staff else very good restaurant! Will definitely go again!

Food was subpar, the waiters are slow and unprofessional. The workers are having a BLAST working here however. The managers and workers smacking each other on the ass and slinging towels every time they pass each other. At one point a coughing bartender was playfully grabbed from behind by another bartender and given the Heimlich … Which very quickly evolved into being humped right behind the bar. They all laughed. They are having so much fun creating memories, service is slow and unresponsive. I had two shrimp tacos, simple grilled the shrimp was super tough and bland they were made pretty fast tho… our waiter just left halfway through our service came back 30 minutes later, we had to flag down servers for drinks and to correct an order(yes we had to send something, it was fried rather than grilled) … The atmosphere very noisy… it’s like a bunch of children at a playground. This part is not entirely the fault of the restaurant. They have a round ceiling that really makes it sound like you are in a gym. It echoes. So if u like quiet meals or are prone to headaches not your spot. A lot of people on a Friday night as well. Plus side. Once we were able to place and correct our order the food was delivered to the table very quickly. And corrected quickly. Once ordered the drinks also were fast to hit the table. They were good. My date had piña colada. She liked it. OH one more thing. $ 5SHOTS of patron everyday.

Love love love this place! I’ve tried several other Mexican restaurants in Atl and they just don’t compare! 5 $ shots of patron all day every day? 34oz margaritas? And the food is sooooo good ! I’ve been here so many times and I’ve never tasted anything that wasn’t delicious. I’m obsessed with this place! Eat here and you will be too !

I give this place 5 stars not because the food is amazing, but more so because of the consistency. The food is always satisfying, and the atmosphere is always chill and fun.

I go to Señor Patron pretty often; they have consistently good Mexican food and fast, friendly service. I generally order the lunch special #1 which comes with an enchilada and a burrito, served with a side of beans and rice. Tasty! I’ve also had the quesadilla, which I added black beans to. Very yummy. They also have really good queso and guacamole. The guac is chunkier, rather than the smooth consistency that you see in cheaper Mexican joints. I will continue to frequent this place, and recommend you do as well!

run of the mill mexican restaurant in midtown atlanta. it’s convenient for business travelers, so they get a plus there! i just wish service was a priority at places like this — i guess since they get a majority of business travelers, they don’t have to impress, because, chances are, they aren’t going to see them again. food was good — nothing to write home about. cheese dip was a little«americanized»(a chalky creamy, definitely not spicy — although they DID bring me an habanero sauce for my meal). the menu had a good selection, but the prices were a bit high for a place of this calibre. i opted for the«super taquitos» — expensive and just average presentation and taste. the only redeeming factor of the place is that when i asked for a handmade margarita(nothing special — just lime, tequila and cointreau), the complied. So — if you want to go for bevvies and to watch the game, it might be right up your alley.

Great place for Mexican food in the Midtown area. In a group of 3, we ordered the fajita, tamale, and a dish with rolled tortillas that i can’t remember the name of. The fajita was the star dish of the night. The tamale dish was on the blander side however. Service was fantastic too, they were always making sure our waters were not more than half-empty.

I checked this place out on Unilocal before I came. We ordered pink lemonade, a Texas margarita, cheese dip, shrimp cocktail, steak fajitas, and shrimp ranchero. The ambiance is very lively and fun. The server was sweet an attentive. The food was above average and very well seasoned. All of the flavors were balanced without being over powering. My fajitas came out perfectly medium rare! I was pleasantly surprised. I love the location. We will be back.

«Marcus, score us some nacho chips and some radical salsa.» — 3 Ninjas(1992) Funny, how does anyone know this place is here? It kind of hides on the side of the building and is tucked away in a corner… but, it is pretty great. So thanks to my friends for introducing me for a delicious lunch(we need to do that again). Working from home, I’m able to go meet friends all over for lunch. This time it was with Ashley M and Will S. Parking was pretty painless — there is a metered lot as a part of the building. The restaurant does validate — which is great! I took a seat with my friends and we ordered drinks and cheese dip. We cleaned the bowl out of any traces of cheese and jalapenos. I’m a fan. After much scrutiny over the menu — I opted for the steak fajitas. The waiter asked me how I wanted them cooked(what?)! That’s awesome. Medium rare, of course. It was pretty damn big for lunch, but I plowed through it. As with any fajitas, they never bring enough tortillas(also given an option of what kind I wanted). After I ate the 3 they provided, I ate the rest of the good stuff with my knife and fork. The flavor was great — good salt level and not spicy. I enjoyed the caramelization on the veggies and was pleasantly full without being in pain at the end — and no I could not finish it all. Over all, I enjoyed the place. The food is pretty good and I want to come back for some margaritas. So we need to make that happen and soon. I like having these fast-casual places in Midtown. Makes lunch time easy and enjoyable.
