The store opened at 7:00AM this morning! I like to go to the Grand Openings of Sprouts stores as the first 200 get a 20% off your entire cart coupon. With the Grand Opening specials plus the 20% I load up! The cart was about $ 235 before the discount. Theres always some good stuff on special. Honestly the Grand Openings are not quite as good as before was Sprouts is no longer new in Georgia, theres many existing stores now. Each store is more or less the same, so once you have seen one store there are only slight differences in each between the Georgia stores. This one has, and it was GREAT to have today in the rain, covered parking! YEAH! So you dont have to get wet! This in the complex on the east side of Piedmont below Cheshire Bridge. Its a residential complex with retail below. There was enough parking even for everyone on Grand Opening. There is a spot where water does pour in, I tell you knew construction has its flaws, but this is in the parking deck, not the fault of the store or part of the store. Water was collecting there so they had help sweeping it out. Having this covered parking though is great as most other stores you have to load your groceries in the rain! I can think of the Publix just south of 10th as having a covered lot too but for the most park you are stuck out in the rain. This the the best feature here as it does rain a lot in Atlanta. They also had just for today free large avocados. These were VERY ripe and other stores would have just pitched them in the garbage, but they were perfect to eat now and they were free. This is not usual for the store, I guess just for Grand Opening morning. SOTHANKYOUSPROUTS, as they were great! For me this location works great as Im only a mile or so away. You can check out their ads online. Each store has its own ad and they do differ. Opening week Pineapples $ 1, Organic broccoli 98c, $ 2 for the silk almost, soy milks etc, and lots more. The line at 7:00 was rather short here. I guess most people are busy working on a WED, but all Grand Openings are on Wednesdays. They had the usual free coffee and free muffins outside for the people waiting.
