Won’t ever be a customer here again. Had a coupon for a free 6 in with purchase or a drink. Got all the way through my order and was told they«don’t take coupons»… I stood in line while they called management who held their stance… Seems like something you should mention up front or have some kind of posted notice. Not to mention the outside is quite run down looking. You think they would be happy to have any kind of customer.

So this Subway location looks kind of rundown from afar but I figured it’s a chain so it can’t be terrible. The sign out front displaying their promotions is falling apart and the parking lot is pretty small. The actual restaurant itself wouldn’t also be recognizable if it weren’t for the Subway sign in the air outside. Anyways, I decided to come here one night because I wanted something quick and simple. When I entered the establishment, neither of the two employees even acknowledged my presence until I walked up to the actual counter and looked at them. I figured they probably just had a long day and are about to close soon anyways. Also, it looked like they were beginning to close for the night since some of the meat choices weren’t even available. Upon that impression, I decided to go with a salad since it’s pretty simple. I chose a double chicken salad and ultimately got the same serving size of chicken that I receive for a normal chicken salad that I order at other Subway locations. Off to bad start but I wasn’t in the mood to complain so then on to the veggies. I had to repeat the vegetables I wanted several times as if they didn’t listen to any of the choices I told them. After all that mess, I told them I only wanted a little bit of oil on top and then proceeded to drench it with oil plus kept asking me if I wanted other dressings when I specifically told them just a little oil and nothing else. This overall experience was a struggle but it happened to be in a convenient location for me at the time but I will not be coming back. I expect at least a very low minimal standard for a chain restaurant but this Subway failed to even meet that… but on the bright side the food tasted just fine.

Tired of the Subway at the Lenox Mall Food court NEVER having avocado(and I have been stopped by at least 3 times in the past 1.5 months, I decided to stop by another Subway while out running errands for the office. First off, this is a very weird parking lot. There is no way to go out from the back and all of the parking spots are diagonal. Minus1 point. When you enter, the staff doesn’t even greet you. I am presuming that this location is a family operated one since it looked like the dad, mom and daughter were behind the counter. Now, I don’t mind that at all. In fact, I usually go out of my way to visit mom/pop establishments and local businesses! However, I REFUSE to patron a place that does not value their customers and this place is one of them. Not only did the mom/dad not even greet me, they huffed each time I requested a topping(WTF, am I just limited to 1 topping of your choice??), but they were just rude. They never asked if I wanted my sandwich toasted, the lady started wrapping up my sandwich after plopping down some yellowing lettuce onto my sandwich — wait, mark that, she actually started wrapping up my sandwich WHILE I was asking for tomatoes, onions, olive oil and vinegar! Then she mumbles something and when I say excuse me? She doesn’t even bother to tell me she was repeating my order to the daughter so she could ring me up. This is –2 btw. Then, while I am paying, another customer comes up with very wet hands and tells them that there are no more paper towels in the women’s restroom. The lady behind the counter just shrugs and keeps on doing what she’s doing. Wow, way to make a customer feel like… well, a customer! I doubt that I will be back at this location, there are 3 other subways located much closer to the office with better customer service.

Generally I like Subway a lot. Lines at this Subway usually aren’t too long. Parking is strange — just try to park where you can back out easily. I get the feeling that this location isn’t very busy at the end of the day because on several occasions I’ve walked in on them cleaning the place before it’s closed. My favorite subs are turkey and tuna on wheat. The $ 5 foot longs are a great deal because I can get both lunch and dinner for $ 5!
