Absolutely 5 stars. Every time we eat here it’s just special. Creative, delicious rolls. Friendly, attentive service. Tonight we split 6 rolls between 5 people. My favorite way to eat and get the most from the sushi experience. The new Sebastian and Mardi Gras rolls include crawfish and are spectacular! The Hawaiian sunset roll has jalapeño with all the seeds meticulously taken out… the perfect amount of heat and flavor! This is a great little place and a well kept secret! Visit soon before its so crowded you can’t get a reservation!

Wait staff very unfriendly. My waitress kept trying to wipe my table while I was eating. She even asked me to hold my arm up so she could get some rice that has dropped on the table. The sushi was just okay. My bowl of hibachi fried rice was bland and tasteless I had to add salt, pepper, soy sauce & yum yum sauce for flavor. This is my third visit trying something different each time and i am convinced I do not have to visit again!

I’ve been going to Sushi Yoshino for a few years now. The price is great for lunch. You can get a bento box with your choice of various proteins including chicken, shrimp, steak, etc. It also comes with Edamame, an orange slice, an egg roll, 4 pieces of California Rolls, steamed or white rice, and miso soup or ginger salad for about $ 10.00. Hard to beat the price. The food is always cooked wonderfully. My steak has always come out at the right temperature and they bring their yum-yum sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger to the table upon request. Order anything with some Sapporo and you are set for a great meal. The reason it gets 3 stars is that the service is alway slow, especially at lunch time, even if no one else is there. There have been many times the soup, salad, appetizer, and entrée are delivered all at once on a full table top of 4, which is quite cumbersome and overwhelming. You are barely paid any attention and constantly have to flag down your waiter. I’ve been here roughly 20 times and the quality of the food outweighs the time you have to be waited on.

This place has become one of my favorite spots to go to for sushi. My boyfriend and I go there at least twice a week. The customer service is great and the sushi is AMAZING!

Solid. Get a Bento Box. Best of all worlds(even though California Rolls are boring, theirs are delicious).

I am not a big fan of sushi, but a friend picked this restaurant for a work lunch. From the website, I saw that they have teriyaki(like most Japanese restaurants) so I knew I would be OK. Since I can handle simple sushi in small amounts, I ordered the salmon bento box. The box came with a california roll(4 pieces), rice(steamed or fried), edamame, a small spring roll, and a slice or orange. Your choice of meat is served with some veggies. As an appetizer, you can have miso soup or ginger salad. I chose the salad. Verdict: The ginger salad was nice, but had too much of the ginger topping. Well, better to have too much than too little. I just scraped off what I didn’t need. The salmon tasted GREAT, but the amount was small. I think you get more if you order steak or chicken. But that could have just been my impression. The teriyaki sauce was wonderful. The california roll was good. According to my friend who eats sushi more frequently, it was OK. Good, but not great. Rice is rice. lol. There was alot of it! I had too much rice for the amount of meat. I only ate about half of it. Edamame was OK. Could have used more salt. Spring roll was OK. I liked the sauce that was drizzled on. Notes: Small parking lot in a plaza with a number of restaurants. You may need to look around and wait for parking during busier periods. Your soda will come in a can. I think it cost about $ 2. For a standard can. Ridiculous. I should have asked if it was a can before ordering. Take home: You get alot of good food for a good price. I would return and order the exact same thing. :-)

Best so far in Atlanta in the 6 months we’ve lived here. Chef was very accommodating to an allergy which I informed him about. He even remade one of the specialty rolls that we ordered after noticing the item on our table after he returned from break. Pricing was a little steep, but good food and good service.

I’ve had a hankering for sushi for weeks but there is only so much satisfaction one can get from california rolls from the downstairs café at work. So when my husband and I scored free babysitting from the grandparents one random rainy night, we finally got an opportunity to check out Sushi Yoshino, which is conveniently close to us. I had heard great things from two separate friends about Yoshino, and I am happy to report that we agree! Décor is like your typical Japanese restaurant in any strip mall, but it was well done and clean. The space, while small, was perfectly fine since it was not too busy the night we went. Service was very attentive and thoughtful and our food(soup, entrees, dessert) came out at good intervals. For our entrees, we ordered a sashimi bento and sushi/sashimi regular combo. The bento came with miso soup, edamame, spring roll, fried rice or white rice, 4 pcs of california rolls and 9 assorted sashimi. It is a great value for all the food you get. The combo, which is understandably more expensive, was a ton of food and everything tasted fresh. The presentation was seriously gorgeous — something you would expect out a high-end Japanese restaurant. And I don’t know what their secret is, but their california rolls were seriously so good. They had a lot of avocado and crab meat and not too much rice. The beautiful and tasty food, great service, and close proximity to us make Sushi Yoshino our new go-to Japanese spot. So glad to have gone and excited to give some of their other menu items a shot.

This cute little restaurant is very close to where my mom lives, so for convenience we stopped by one day. To my surprise this is one of the freshest sushi places I have eaten. There’s nothing special to the décor and if your not looking you will miss it because it’s tucked in the shopping center with other cool places to eat. The staff is always very friendly and ready to assist with your order if your up to trying something new. Definitely recommend this place, also try the rice cake strawberry ice cream, delicious.

This place is great. The sushi is awesome, the only downfall is the portions are a little small.

The staff is friendly. The roll I ordered was the Caliente roll. The roll cost $ 12.95 and yes it was good, satisfying but the size of the roll was too skinny for the price. After my roll I ordered some green tea ice cream. That cost me $ 2.95 and it was too big balls of ice cream. So for that price it was way more than I imagined. The service was fast, I just think if they are going to price their special rolls in the $ 10-$ 15’s, they need to make them thicker(not with just rice) & actually make it a SPECIAL roll. I could’ve used a lot less green tea ice cream and a lot more spicy tuna in my roll. I would come back to try the roll with the brown rice substitution for an extra dollar.

The price was reasonable and food was decent. Not saying we won’t go back, but it wasn’t outstanding. They add black pepper to just about everything. I like pepper, but it could be a little much for others.

Great hibachi box for lunch! This place offers a lot of food for lunch for around $ 10. I got the chicken teriyaki box and there was so much food! It came with a big bowl of salad(or soup), a spring roll, a california roll, fried rice(or steamed rice), and the main dish. I was stuffed, but it tasted so good that I kept eating. The waitresses were really kind and helpful. The place is a bit small though so I wouldn’t go with a huge group

I really wanted to like this place because it’s conveniently close to my home but I couldn’t. I’ve been here twice so far, my first visit was average and I felt the need to write about my most recent one. I give it two stars because the portions for lunch were extremely small, the sushi was warm and my waitress non existent. I got the steak hibachi plate w/house salad and fried rice. What came out was five small cubes of steak(size of a starburst) on a plate of burnt veggies and a half full cup of fried rice. I have a picture attached. I know lunch portions are much smaller than dinner but I felt my plate had significantly less food than a normal lunch entrée. I got 8 pieces of nigiri and the fish fillets were torn and falling apart. I didn’t mind it much but what really bothered me was the temperature of the sushi. It was warm. My waitress was very bothersome when I initially sat, trying to get me to order. Once my order was placed I couldn’t even get napkins nor a refill. Other than my experiences here, the Interior is nice and clean. A long bar with about 15 – 20 stools compliment the sushi bar and wine collection. There is one big table in the corner for a larger group and many tables for parties of 2 and 4. Decent parking situation and friendly staff. May not be attentive but friendly.

Great lunch spot! I eat here once a week. You can’t get better than the Chicken Teriyaki Box for $ 9 that includes fried rice, spring roll, peas, and California rolls.

There are 2 Unilocal reviews for this place and unfortunately I read this link displaying 5 starts instead of the link with 2 stars. The 2 star reviews are more accurate and this link has to have some false reviews. This place was absolutely terrible! The first hint was that the air smelled of stale grease. After being seated and reviewing the menu, we had a hard time trying to find something to order passing on items like fried rice. We went with Yaki Soba since it is usually hard to mess up, two rolls and gyoza. I made sure to ask if the gyoza was fried or steamed and she said fried, however, they could steam it for us. Server came back to tell us they were out of Yaki Soba. We just stuck with the rest of the order in hopes to get out of there sooner. The shrimp tempura in the roll tasted as if it was fried days before and the eel roll was indistinguishable since the eel was chopped and mixed with something in the center. The gyoza came out in a steamer looking like flat ravioli instead of dumplings. The filling was glass noodles, egg and scallion. This was NOT even close to Japanese gyoza and reminded us of Korean mandu dumpling filling. We mentioned it to our server who was Korean and she confirmed that the owner is Korean too. To top it off, there were supped to be 6 gyoza and the last piece was an empty folded piece of dough. I drive by this place almost every day and never ate here since I had a feeling it was«Americanized» due to the location. This proved to be true, but also not good. We stopped here because we were in a hurry to catch a movie and needed something on the way to the theater. 3 lessons learned: look for multiple Unilocal reviews on one restaurant, don’t eat in a place that smells like old oil and go with your gut feeling when something doesn’t feel right.

Well, the miso was tasty. But I was unimpressed with the nigiri bento box for lunch and even more so by the calamari appetizer. Everything tasted stale, bland and just-barely defrosted. I won’t be going back.

I’ll give this a 3. There’s little things they do well, and little things they don’t do well. Well: Good hot tea… good rolls… lots of variety… tasty Udon Not Well: They are inconsistent at removing the trails out of the shrimp… service is a little on the slow side… they don’t stay open very long for lunch… if you’re taking a late lunch, don’t even bother… they’ll be closed.
