No decaf coffee.(At 11am they ran out?) Waitress asked ‘what are poached eggs?‘ And despite the ‘healthy’ omelet being served with raisin toast, raisin toast is not an option when asked ‘what kind of toast would you like?’ Empty at 11am. Food delivered. Corned hash was a salt lick, and the ‘poached’ eggs, were rather hot, hard boiled eggs. I’m fortunate to have food in my belly, but I’d walk further next time if this is one of my options.

We were forced to this eatery after a last minute decision to see Book of Mormon at the Fox. My girlfriend was hungry and all the other restaurants around the theatre were slammed which was my mistake. Entering this putrid establishment made me queasy almost immediately yet I knew a meal was impending. Burger was fetid, fries had no personality and cheesesteak had an odd teriyaki aftertaste. Wtf is this place I thought aloud to my date. We laughed and closed out the bill immediately upon ordering(huge advice to starving stragglers). Luckily no one was poisoned by the wretch. Guy in the pleather jacket was nice I guess but in way over his head for the pre-show crowd and just sat on his phone as tables waited to be bused. and patrons were fuming. X this one off the list!

This place needs one thing: salt. I ordered the gyro(which came with no tzaziki sauce), a bowl of chili, and French fries. Everything was bland and my server was horrendous. Most of the time she sat on her phone at a back booth in this mostly empty dud of a diner. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone looking for customer service and/or good food.

I think this place has gotten a bad rep for a little too long. It’s a diner with a true diner feel and a little bit of a modern twist. I think it’s going to be a big thing in less than three months. I just moved to the city and was attracted by the lights. I’ve been to Marietta Diner twice already b/c the atmosphere and food is so freakin’ good, so this looked as inviting from the street view. Unfortunately, they’ve lost their liquor license, so the ol’ bar is closed and made me wonder if the place was really open. I walked in a few steps and found a few people sitting so I came in. The place is under new management in the past two months, making most of the older comments a little outdated. The managers left really want to see this place back to its former glory, so the slightly overpriced prices you’ve seen may be different at lunchtime. I went in and loved the menu. Not as much Greek & Italian options as Marietta, but a very extensive breakfast menu. I went with an old diner classic: chili hamburger with fries. The waiter even asked me what heat setting I wanted(you can’t find that anywhere except a steak place!). Hesitant, I went with medium well. Wow, super crisp with the nice smoky flavor you can only get at Cookout! I’ll admit, the chili wasn’t Wendy’s quality, but it’s what I’d expect to see at a Waffle House. The Krinkle-cut fries were phenomenal, but could go w/o the onion rings(average). I didn’t try any of the drinks. The two managers, André and Xavier, were really interested in whether I was comfortable and shared some stories. I missed out on Marietta’s desserts, so I got some carrot cake to go. Wowzers!!! A little time in the oven, and it was fantastic. Fully satisfied with my experience, and I’ll be back for a lunch/breakfast special soon. Their objective is to return to 24⁄7 in a short amount of time, but right now they’re 8−11z I think Midtowners need an alternative to The Varsity and Gladys Knight. Marietta Diner is always packed, and the food is similarly priced. Make a stop some time and save this precious Landmark Diner(yes, same menu as the one downtown!)

1:00 p.m. on a Sunday and the place was NOT busy… I should have known… yet when taken to the table the waitress wanted to take me to my table at the same time she was going to take the other 4 people behind me… why make two trips??? Expensive breakfast with blend/hospital taste… paper napkins held by salt and pepper shakers… wonder how many hands touched them before they put them back between the shakers. $ 2.59 for cold coffee?!! Sad toasts… no jelly… no cream for coffee… Place looks like it used to be a take out Chinese food kind of place,. :(

They have stuffed avocados(tuna, chicken salad, or egg salad) which were served with fresh lettuce, cucumbers, and red pepper. Pretty presentation and Mom enjoyed. I had a monte Cristo, but it wasn’t fried. It was just a sandwich on French toast. Good, but not outstanding. They have a great atmosphere with show posters on the wall and tables with arm chairs as well as booths. They serve breakfast 24⁄7.

Decent food close to the Fox theater and when I work a show I need to stay close. There are better places around for half the $.

My family came here for breakfast. The same for the hash brown potatoes were marked as being really good. Tastes just as good as homemade. My brother ordered a steak medium well however he said it was a little dry. The corn beef hash was perfectly cooked crisp and well seasoned. I was the odd ball of a bunch in order dinner for breakfast. I had the eggplant parmesan, however I special ordered it over fettucini alfredo as I don’t like marinara sauce. The kitchen was happy to prepare my meal, and the chef actually brought it out to make sure it was what I wanted. Service here was excellent. My sister actually hear back to back. She enjoyed her Philly cheesesteaks so much that she wants to come here for breakfast the following day. It was well price for downtown Atlanta.

The place was empty at 9:30 on a Saturday morning, which should have been our first clue to turn around and leave. The food was sad — pretty sure my corned beef hash came straight out of a can. The entire restaurant felt a little dirty, and the whole place was just… odd. Wouldn’t recommend.

Worst. Diner. Ever. We went there for lunch and the waitress seemed uninterested and aloof. It look over 40 minutes to get our food, and most of us ordered a salad. Speaking of the salads, most of us had a plate of lettuce(including the parts that should have been thrown away) that was swimming in water. I had to pour the water off my plate to eat the salad. The chicken was bland, and the service was terrible. I swear this place looks like a front for some shady dealings. There are cameras everywhere and they obviously aren’t about the food. STAYAWAY. Hopefully, this place is put out of it’s misery soon.

If I could give it Zero stars, I would. It is that bad! They consistently are out of simple things meaning I have to pick like 4 things on the menu before they have what I order available. The service is very robotic. The place looks dreadful… so much so that I would hate to see what the kitchen looks like… I am surprised it has not been shut down based on the appearance of the dinning room/bathroom. The dessert case looks pretty but the desserts are old and tasteless. I can not believe this awful place stays in business.

Not off to a good start. Bright neon sign says open 24 hours. Came by at 6:30 for breakfast and they were closed. They now open at 7 or 8. Decided to come back for lunch. Came in at noon. The place was empty. The front half is abandoned. The place is old and dated. Servers speak English as a second language. Difficult to order what we wanted. 4 guys. Burgers. Sandwiches. 20 minutes. Burgers. Overcooked. Undersized. Overpriced. Food just ok. The place looks like it’s on it’s last leg. I’d avoid. Save your money

Probably the worst service Ive ever experience. This place is close to the Fox which makes it an option. Avoid it at any cost, why spend hard earned money for rude behavior. Only giving one star because a negative is not an option

Best Diner in ATLANTA! Multiple locations, I have enjoyed the Peachtree St. location and the Cheshire Bridge location. I frequently eat at this well priced location. Country Fried Steak is the BEST!!! Also the food is made quickly and all the items I have had are delicious.

I was more than pleased with my experience there. I won’t complain about the food because I don’t see how paying $ 25 for two dinners AND dessert is grounds for complaining about the quality. So… does every IHOP and Waffle House get an automatic 1 or 2 stars? Douglass made our entire night perfect. If you want perfect service and professionalism, ask for him.

The food is OK and the prices are downtown-ish. I was at the hospital and hungry and after not getting served at a nearby local dive bar I found my way to this. There were not many people on Sunday evening and the establishment appeared to be competently staffed. I was greeted and served promptly and with courtesy. I had the chili burger and it was acceptable. Overall an alright place to drop in and grab a bite to eat. I did not personally experience the issues that other reviewers had with the service but I guess things could change if the place was understaffed or busy. BONUS, this spot is apparently 24 hours tho I have not tested these hours. The menu selection is very large and varied and I suspect that you will find whatever you may have a hankerin’ for at this diner. How good or bad will any given specific dish be, that is the question? Your mileage may vary at these types of places with such an expansive menu.

We always come here when we put a show in at the fox. It’s always good. The décor is part of the old atmosphere… Ah ya. T hee. No really but the food is always good here. I had spaghetti n meatballs-good, hubby had Greek salad with chicken– yum. I had leftovers. The glasses are nice n big when you are thirsty. Well I was getting a piece of plain cheesecake to go but hubby ordered chocolate pie for here sooo what the heck I’ll eat mine here. Oooo sooooo full now! I love the cheesecake here fluffy and lite not sweet like imitation. He ate all his pie too. So all u nay Sayers… more for us!

The only reason this place is at all functional is by being next to the Fox. I live upstairs, and we have a roach problem on the lower floors by the diner. They also allow crack dealers to hang about on their patio and hire them to pass out fliers. Also the food is terrible, whenever I see them loading food in, it is from the back of an uncovered pickup truck and already does not look fresh.
