Great little neighborhood bar, with a venue every night of the week! Awesome staff and cheap cocktails, a win-win all the way around.

You can’t find a better karaōke experience than Killer King Karaōke, hosted by Tyler King, on Saturday nights. With an expansive catalog of songs and a quick wit, Tyler is truly the king of karaōke! Strong drinks, shots, and great management too!

Fun little hidden location behind Ansley Mall. The week is full of nightly events from drag shows to bingo. The location is also the newest home to Atlanta’s famous Armorettes. The hideaway always has a mixed clientele of young and old. They do serve nice stiff drinks!

Love love love this place! Its such a divey gay bar, smokey, and dark. On various nights they have events such as birdcage bingo on Wednesdays, Karaōke on Thursdays, and industry night on Mondays. Their drinks are strong, cheap, and every flowing. This place is not for everyone, though. You have to have a sense of humor, not be sensitive, but be ready to have a good time. Music is good and varied, and they have a jukebox here too. Another perk is the pool tables are free!

Grope Bill and tell him it’s from me… The Hideaway used to be a place I’d pass and wonder if it was that bar everyone knew about but nobody wanted to go but I now realize it’s the bar people go to and love but don’t really talk about. It’s nice and relaxing and the bartenders are too cute! I can’t wait to go again and again.

I’m not one much for smoking and I thought that smoking was prohibited but that aside, there is a nice mix of men(and sometimes a stray cat) that is focused on meeting and chatting rather than boy-bodies frolicking in e-lit rooms of bouncy trance. You will find plenty of hot men, yummy bears, and handsome chubs. As a visitor it was nice not to feel like I didn’t belong, rather that I was welcomed to be a gay man in the company of other gay men in a bar with great parking.

You’ll all be glad to know that I’m one bar closer to completing my tour of every Atlanta gay bar. I’ve been wanting to come here for years. Well, maybe not that long, but before The New Order closed. It took me a while to find it because it’s behind Publix and there isn’t signage out front to remind you it’s there. Apparently most of what’s leftover is still intact including what I would describe as Italian tile kitchen backsplash walls between the booths. It’s not a large place. Bigger than you’d think. Two pool tables and a fairly large bar that I would compare to the Clermont Lounge. Rumer has it the faux fireplace is being replaced this month, so if you want to see it you’ll need to hurry. Oh, and there’s Blackjack(for entertainment purposes only).
