My fiancé and I were excited about finding this standalone store, but our excitement soured pretty quickly as soon as we walked in. The staff could not have been more rude if they had tried. A tall, blonde sales associate immediately made us feel unwanted as soon as we walked in by staring us down with a look of disgust on her face and refusing to greet us. The male sales associate was slightly more friendly and actually made an effort to walk through the selection with us; however, he wasn’t exactly enthusiastic. Long story short, I’ll never understand sales associates who act as though their customers are a burden. I’m not sure if they stuck their noses up at us because they thought we were«window shopping», or couldn’t afford their merchandise, or whatever other misguided perceptions they may have had. Regardless, we took our money elsewhere as a direct result of their behavior. I would suggest the store manager spend those hourly wages on employees with better attitudes who do what they were hired for — assisting customers with a smile.

Love the new standalone store. Used to have to go to Saks to find a good selection of Theory but now there is another great option, and they often have items that are not sold in the department stores.
