I went to MShack yesterday for lunch and had the best burger I’ve ever had there! I got the sunrise burger and everything was perfect! They have the best fries and burgers in Jax! It’s a must go if you’re wanting a burger. Their shakes are phenomenal as well!

I’ve been here about 25 times and I have to say that today me and my wife had the best burger we have ever had here. It’s always the best burger in town, but this was the best burger from MShack too. I gave my compliments to the manager and she told me they had just changed the recipe slightly. Well, what a great change. We had the sunrise burger and everything was perfect! So, if you’re looking for a place for a good burger, fries, and a shake you won’t find a better place in Jacksonville than MShack. It easily beats out other burgers from epik, smash burger, burgerfi, and five guys.

Went here simply because they were recently voted«Best Burger in Jax» by Void Magazine readers. Void normally has a great annual list of places to eat. I have to say that the readers missed it on this one in a big way… As an earlier poster said«the burgers have no flavor.» We tried the traditional cheeseburger and it was bland and undercooked… The fries are decent. The milkshakes are good but expensive. $ 5.25 for a milkshake? Seriously??? The milkshake at a Chick fil A is twice as good and nearly half the cost! I can check Mshack off the list for having tried it… Happier to know that there are much better places in Jax though to get a much better tasting burger and at a much lower price… Epic fail on Void’s Annual«Best of Jax» list…

I have dined at M Shack before but not this location. It was very clean and people very friendly. It wasn’t a huge line but while waiting to order I was welcomed and given a menu to look over while waiting in line. Any other day I would tear up a burger but tonight just had munchies so I enjoyed queso fries with sriracha and a tropical tea! It sure hit the spot… hot fresh made fries with a healthy dose of warm melty cheese! If you need an amazing burger or delish munchies M Shack has you covered!

Family of four. Truffle fries and double burger were dry. Two shakes were decent. The best part was the Florida cracker beer.

5 stars for this burger joint! Ever since the CMYE at the Riverside MShack exposed me to the local chain’s existence, I have enjoyed indulging on selections from their menu. I’ve tried and enjoyed the Fries(with and without Queso), the MBurger, Sunrise burger, their spiked milkshakes, strawberry mojito-ish cocktail, and Fish sandwich. The burgers are cooked medium, and are made with very, very good beef. The MShack sauce makes for a great topper on their sandwiches. They grill their buns, making for a nice touch. Their fries are crispy and thick cut. If you get Queso fries to go, they give you the Queso in a cup so it doesn’t make the fries soggy(food thinking!). The onion rings look really good, and they must be because our cousin ordered them and ate them all without sharing! The fish sandwich is a tilapia filet blackened to perfection and full of flavor. The burgers are savory and melt-in-your-mouth quality. The sunrise burger has bacon and a sunny side up egg cooked to order atop its patty, which sounds odd but is actually very good! I tried the Medurable burger, but found that fois gras is not something I care for — neither is paying $ 19 for a burger. Oh, I almost forgot the Kale salad and truffle parmesan fries! Both awe-inspiring selections for a unique twist in the sale and fries sides. The Kale salad is loaded with healthy toppings and a dressing that is just right for the combo. The truffle oil and Parmesan make for some of the best fries I’ve had, but you have to really want them for $ 5−6… On the other hand, their M Burger is only $ 5, which is very reasonable for what you get. The shakes are also super good — I know my ice cream, and these are some quality concoctions! One month they had a red velvet shake on special… I hope they bring it back, cause it was soooo good! The shop itself is a quality establishment — they have a nice patio, which is decorated nicely and is pet friendly. This is a place we now take any guests that come visit — it’s nice to have a go-to burger joint, especially one with this proximity to what I love to do most — beach!

Stopped by to have another MShack burger and so a friend could experience it for the first time. I myself don’t eat meat that is medium but this burger is so juicy I don’t care there’s some pink. This location is very quaint, bit smaller than the huge Riverside location but just as tasty!

You get an extra star, M Shack, for being literally 2 minutes from the incredible Atlantic Beach. The menu is really diverse. Don’t think that the M Burger is their signature«thing.» Get adventurous and try the Medurable! Servers and staff were super nice and generous. Loved the after-meal walk on the beach with my family. A meal is never just about the meal. Chocolate shake was 3.5÷5. With malt, 4⁄5.

I love this fun little food fast joint located close to the ocean in Atlantic Beach. Various burgers to chose from, including a veggie beet burger. The burgers are innovative and fun. They have fries and onion rings as sides which are both very good and their milk shakes bring me to the yard for sure! They have a small bar located within and indoor booths and tables and outdoor seating. There is usually a line but goes pretty quick and the food doesn’t take that long to cook either.

I went here for the first time on a suggestion of a coworker to bring the kids for a sweet and yummy beach date. We ordered our burgers and fries and got the most delicious shakes. I have to say, the young man at the register was absolutely amazing. He was super patient, helped me order the right burger for my son and recommended some really good food. Their crème brûlée shake is phenomenal. My son devoured the delicious torched marshmallow off the top and enjoyed the flavor. The milkshakes we absolutely divine. The burgers were well-done and perfect consistency without being tough. They almost melted in your mouth with perfect flavor. The truffle burger was divine and I will never go back to normal burgers after that. The kids loved the fries because they were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside of it. They offer an awesome condiment bar and have a variety of beers up for grabs. Let’s just say, I will be back. It’s right off the beach so once we were done we were able to go take a walk on the beach to enjoy a sunny, summer day.

Sometimes you just need a burger. And last week I had one of those days. For the girl who rarely ate eggs as a child — only when she was forced — I sure like to put them on everything these days. My latest digestive adventure: The Sunrise Burger. The weather was gorgeous so I thought I might get a chance to snag a table outside; no such luck! Everyone else must have had the same idea I did. And I didn’t even show up at lunch time. I was there at that odd hour between lunch ending and happy hour beginning. Oh well, maybe next time. I had one thing on my mind: hamburger. Didn’t want fries with that. Way too much to have by myself. Sunrise burger, medium with a regular pop for me please. As my burger arrived, I admired the perfectly cooked sunny-side up egg that had just the right amount of wibble-wobble. Pressing down on the top half of my bun, I heard the faint memory of the screams my dad used to make whenever we stabbed our over-easy eggs and let the yolk runneth over. Biting in, my stomach was ready to receive it’s sacrament for the day. The burger was cooked nicely through with the right amount of pink. The bacon was thick & well done. This burger beauty was happy. One day I will venture into the new location in Town Center and compare notes, but for now the beach locale is my go to.

Maybe because I’m living in Vegas now and I’ve dined at some of the best places in the west-coast. But I can only go off of what I know, and I really wanted to see what the hype was about at this M Shack in my hometown. I definitely like the location and setting of the place. The menu is unique and I went with the cross fit burger. Has two beef patties, sautéed unions, mushrooms, bacon, egg, and avocado. Doesn’t sound cross fit right? Well there’s no bun. It’s laid out on a bed of two crisp lettuce pieces. It was a bit oily but tastes good. Good quality burger for Jacksonville dining. But average American dining Burger compared to Vegas Bachi Burger or Claremont California Eureka burger. I also ordered truffle fries. And here’s where I was disappointed… They bring the food to your table after you order in line and give you a number to place on the table. Food was bought out but they gave normal fries… No truffle. And I stated I ordered truffle fries and the server states I wasn’t charged for truffle fries but she’ll make it truffle. I look at the receipt and I was rung up for truffle fries… So someone in the back dropped the ball on that. And to say the least I was disappointed with the truffle fries coz there was no truffle… Just Parmesan sprinkled on top of the fries. Now truffle is a type of fungus or cousin of a mushroom so I’m looking for a truffle sauce drizzled on the fries then sprinkled with the Parmesan cheese… Yeh no. There was not even a hint of truffle. Idk if they used truffle oil for frying the fries or mixed the Parmesan cheese in truffle oil or a truffle sauce then put that on top of the fries but they should really change the truffle fries to Parmesan fries. And the fries for a small hot dog tray is $ 4.95 a complete rip off when you can order a large basket of fries at Ale House or Five Guys for if not cheaper the same price. I’m just saying if you’re gonna call it Truffle Fries… Then put some dam Truffle in it. The place has a happy hour and offers beer and wines on their menu. I thought that was a nice touch to the menu specially considering the location of this place is at the beaches so who doesn’t wanna have a burger and a drink at the beach. It’s smart marketing and personifying their menu. Ehh I mean I’ll try it again, but overall I really wasn’t all that impressed. It’s good concept and really something different and unique for Jacksonville dining but I was disappointed… Especially with the fries. Again maybe that’s because dining on the west coast and Vegas is such a total different experience over there and I’m critical now on my critics. So I give 3 stars. That fail on the truffle fries definitely cost my review the 4th star I woulda given.
