Pros: huge portions, decent price Cons: Very limited selection of greens and ingredients. They don’t have mesclun, arugula or kale and the only nuts/closest thing to dried fruit they have are peanuts and raisins. Very few cheeses/dressings to choose from as well. Overall: most boring salad place I’ve been to and is nowhere near comparable to a chop’t or just salad but then again it’s a healthy affordable option located inside a very upscale casino which is a quite a rare find these days.

Best bargain at the borgata. Large salad or wrap for under $ 10. Either item could really feed 2 normal people or one very hungry person. All ingredients are fresh. I had the Greek salad with dressing on the side and bf had the Italian wrap. We both had ½ left over for a snack the next day.

Located in the Cafeteria(the food court) of the Borgata Hotel, I decided to try it out because it seemed to be the healthiest dining option in the food court. It reminded me of a Sweet Green or a Chop’t, because everything was prepared in front of you. Although there’s lots of topping choices, there’s an additional charge for every extra topping you decide to get. The portions are generous and they even give it to you in a plastic container that you can take with you to-go. Why 3 stars?! I ordered a chef’s salad, and the employee substituted bacon for me because she didn’t want to cut up the ham. I asked for a little cheese, yet she put in a handful… of thickly cut swiss cheese. I really tried to finish it, but ended up throwing it away because it just didn’t taste right. When I come back next time, I’ll try something else, or check out the other options in the Cafeteria.

Now this food court is nothing like any others, but then again its in the Borgata in Atlantic City. Beautiful with great choices, I had to try salad head. It looked so fresh and inviting with sooo many choices, I would have gone overboard would they not charge around $ 1 per topping. I limited it to spinach, red onion, sundried tomato, mushrooms, and avocado, each generous and super tasty! The balsamic was great and it comes with a whole wheat roll and I paid just over $ 6 which is more than fair. Service is fast and very friendly, a great healthy lunchtime spot!

Located in The Cafeteria(the food court) in The Borgata, Lettuce Head is a Saladworks-like eatery. The salads and all of the ingredients were fresh. They definitely designed this restaurant to appeal to those who want some healthy eats at the casinos. The only drawback-fairly pricey for a salad. My group of 3 all got make your own salads with the average price being $ 16.
