Yuk — don’t waste ur night and $$ — apparently vip can do whatever they please. Dance floor is gross– so much so that ur feet stick to the floor and it wasn’t just one spot — the whole dance floor. No security what so ever — drinks shouldn’t be allowed on the dance floor, but than again the bouncers close their eyes to vips — from smoking cigarettes to jumping on the seats — free for all. Music sucked as well —

Absolute favorite club in AC!!! We went here last Monday and Borgata lets you have free admission if you stay at the hotel before 12. We got to the club by 11:30 and the employees said free admission ended at 11. I even made sure I had the times right when I checked into the hotel. After a slight argument, the club let us in for free. Drinks are expensive, so if you go with a big group — it’s worth it to get bottle service. The music is always great and I’ve never had a bad time here.

I came here on a Friday night with a couple of my boys two years ago and had a great time! The cover for guys was $ 25 and $ 10 for girls at midnight. Drinks were about $ 12 and the DJ was bumpin hip hop, and dance music mostly. The crowd was young, mainly early 20s to late 20s, and everyone was freshly dressed and danced like who gives a _______! We had so much fun that we have gathered again for another nightout in AC this sunday! And guess where we clubbin at?!!

Great atmosphere to dance and have fun with friends. It was conveniently located in the hotel I was staying so I never had to leave. The dance floor wasn’t really packed at all so you had room to move around. It’s definitely your typical guido dance club.

Love Mur Mur!!! Such a great club to go to and dance the night away with some friends on a Sunday/Monday night! If you get on a guest list, you can get in free before midnight. But don’t expect to just arrive at the club a few minutes before 12am and still get in for free because there is always a huge line during that time. You also need to check your coat before you even get on line because they are not allowed at all inside If you make it after midnight, there is a cover charge which is $ 15 for women and $ 25 for men, which is not bad at all for what this place is. Overall, they usually have good DJs, they have a large dance floor, dancers and quick bartenders. They also have platforms for you and you learn friends to get up and dance on as well which is pretty cool. Drinks can be a little pricey, but it’s expected. My recommendation is to always pre-game before you go. Not only because of the prices, but dancing with a ton of people around you with a drink in your hand is not fun, especially when someone accidentally knocks it over.

Mur. Mur is hot. hot! I freaking loved turning 25 at midnight here. We danced until 4 am to the wonderful remixes of the talented DJ which included a variety of music, always with a twist that blew our minds. The place comes equipped with nifty lights and sparkling dancers. Being on the receiving end of the smoke/fog machine was also awesome. I drank the most delicious tequila sunrises I’ve ever had here as well. The bartenders were swift at serving us — even in a tight crowd. Never once did me or my boyfriend ever feel overlooked even with all the people here. Cover was standard and decent for a Saturday night($ 25 for women, $ 30 for men). They also have complimentary coat and purse check but be advised it’s located further down the hotel and you should do that first before getting on line or have whoever you’re with save your spot on the line. I had an absolute blast here. Thanks mur. mur for making my birthday night super special!

I was with a bachelor party and came here twice. Once on Friday then again on Sat. Im not much on clubs but had a blast both times. The club is under the Borgata. The cover was $ 25 for guys. The drinks were only $ 5 for the first hour both nights so I tried my best to get as much in as possible because once it hit midnight drinks went to $ 12+. The music was loud and you couldn’t hear the person next to you talk but that wasn’t any issue. The dance floor was packed both nights and once on the dance floor you couldn’t help but to jam. There seemed to be a lot of private booths all around the club. It looked like people rented them out and had personal servers deliver drinks. We were not aware of this and did not reserve any booths but I would have never sat down. Sat night was by far more packed. Not sure if it was because it was Sat or that the DJ happened to be Samantha Ronson. I would come back again.

Great time at Mur Mur, every time I’ve gone… yes since my early 20’s. There is a great mix of music from top 40’s to EDM, depending on the night. Although it does not appear to be very big, it is a decent size, VIP just takes over the whole outside of the club area. The dance floor gets really packed, so be prepared for some sweaty bodies rubbing up on you, but you may like that kind of thing… They also have platforms to get up and strut your stuff, I definitely enjoyed the spotlight in my earlier years. If you prefer to drunk people watch, Mur Mur is great for that because they have a ledge area to stand right out side of the dance floor, and right in front of VIP, so you prettty much get a fantastic view of the place. They do have a cover, but you can get in on a guestlist and get in for free before 12. On Sundays they even have $ 5 well drinks before midnight, so it pays off since they are normally $ 12ish. This is one of those great spots to have a Birthday or Bachelorette party in AC. Can’t wait for another decade of fun here!

Great atmosphere, beautiful ambience, clean bathrooms and tight security… Good thing too, because this club has a lot of shady dudes looking to cop a feel. Know how to handle yourself. Oh, and be sure to pregame before you go, because drinks are $ 12 a pop. And make sure some big shot DJ isn’t playing that night, because then getting in will require an extra $ 40. Overall though, I’ve enjoyed my experiences at mur. mur and will definitely go again.

Your best bet in ACY for a night out where you are not just looking to get trashed on obscene amount of alcohol but instead to let your hair down and dance. Although getting trashed here at Mur.Mur. will do you no good. Not only will it be a decent hit on your Amex, you won’t last here too long. It was fun to see those lucky few getting gently escorted out of the club: o) Here are my takeaways: — Ambiance: Night club sultry chick yet not too over the top. The lighting made a big difference. The dance floor is lively although not too big. But the overall vibe of the place is very energetic and not too trashy. And depending on who the DJ is for the night, the dance floor can be on fire — especially when it is my type of music and I decide to take over the dance floor. And although I did not get a chance to request a few of my much wanted numbers, I was pretty satisfied with what was making me shake a leg and some. — Crowd: In ACY I have seen, the crowd can be hit or miss. At this point, I have stopped bothering with my idiosyncrasies with who I end up rubbing my shoulders with when it comes to night clubs. Unless of course it is totally something that is not my scene. And I can see red flags going up as soon as I step in a place. This place is quite fine. That they have a strict dress code is where it all begins and tends to take you in the right direction from there. — Drinks: It’s a night club with a posh dance floor and high end music systems et al. Of course drinks are on the slightly expensive side as compared to your bar down the street. But they are not outrageously crazy expensive. I found them quite reasonable. Unless of course you decided to go for the bottle service which is a totally different ball game. Again, depends on the occasion, the company and such. I didn’t get a chance to go through their cocktail menu because I knew what I wanted and decided to wander or drift away. — Service: And definitely the bartenders were great, despite being super busy. Things are much in order where there are chances they may get out of control — as it goes late in the night. Both at the bar as well as at your reserved table — everything was great, being handled very well. Add this one to the list of — sure not to disappoint. Check!

I am totally a fan of mur. mur and I will tell you why the bouncers at the front door are not d-bags, and there are tons of helpful and friendly promoters that hook u up with a rewards card that gives you reduced admission on your birthday and other great deals throughout the year, we even got a free drink when we got the red card. the drinks weren’t watered down they are very generous on the alcohol in the drinks there was a female dj spinning, and I swear that is rare in majority of the clubs when you go downstairs to the club, your service will probably disappear so try to get the Borgata wifi at the front desk the club itself is nicely set up, the vip tables are all around the dance floor behind the stairs or near the stairs on each corner of the dance floor so there is an ample amount of space to dance bottle service was wild and lively, they had sexy bottle girls bring out bottles in sparklers and MUR. MUR balloons, it was so nice to see the music variety was decent, it was a decent mix or rap and house music, best of both worlds in my opinion this clubs equipment and studio is LOUD. lol I could not hear my own thoughts in this place, try to stay as far away from the dj booth as possible. i like how clean the bathroom is here, and how there is one bar on each side of the club so it doesn’t get too crowded if you’d rather chill by the bars what holds me back from giving this sexy and sleek club 5 stars are the people they attract, you have a bunch of old guidos who are 50 and over who are the only people at vip, and they were totally creeping on younger chicks the girls here and snobby guidettes, they will easily make a scene if you look at them the wrong way email to get them on your mailing list, they will always email you all the hottest events and deals

This place is insane! Any of the negative reviews must be posted by people who don’t know how to cut loose and have some fun. Get your *ss out on the dance floor and tear it up. DJ Ruckus was there and did an amazing job. He definitely knew how to read the crowd and was NOT just using a simple playlist. Drinks are expensive but where aren’t they in any of the casinos?

Overall, it’s OK here. The lame decorations and layout remind me of bar mitzvah venues from 1995. The music is average. Party hits, iPod playlist style. I left at 1:30am bc the place was half empty… on a Saturday. Clubs, and their music, have evolved so much in the past 5 – 7 years and Mur.Mur. hasn’t caught up to the trend. They’re OK with being a basement club that probably will never be upgraded. If it wasn’t in this location, I could see it being closed within the year. If you come with a crew, you’ll have an OK time here. But you are making the party, ya know?! Ya dig? Since you’re marooned on Borgata Island, it’s not the worst place to be. Wayyy better than being cramped into the venue with the live band. So there’s that…

Good to have an option at Borgata on a Thursday night! Typical casino crowd, maybe slightly younger than typical actually. Went to a free comedy show beforehand, actually some pretty good talent! They bought in guest comedians(3) from all over who are clearly professionals — not bad for a Thursday night.

For places within Atlantic City, I have to say that Mur. Mur is one of my favorites. Every time I go, I seem to enjoy myself. The set-up of the club is probably weird the first time you go as the lounge area is around the top, then a walking area, then a closer bottle service area, then the dance floor. Basically, from anywhere in the club, you can see any one person that you want. Some may hate that, I enjoy that. Drinks. Shots. Cover. Yeah, it’s all the same where ever you go in Atlantic City however on a Monday night… Mur. Mur is where you want to be.

Came here for my birthday. Initially wanted to go to mixx but it was not open! And it was a friday. So we followed the crowd to murmur. Asked if I could get free admission since it was my birthday(technically in 10 minutes) and they gave me a comp card. Wooo. However they would not do the same for my boyfriend whose birthday was that day. He paid the $ 20 cover, which isnt bad considering we paid $ 50 at golden nugget last year. The club is basically 2 squares, with the dance floor below. Its nothing too exciting. It was actually pretty empty and felt a little awkward. I never thought id say«I wish there were more people.» The redeeming factor was the drinks. $ 7 for a rum & coke — awesome. The bathrooms were also spectacularly clean which is a big plus in my book. Overall it is what you make of it. I enjoyed the night but probably wouldn’t return.

I recently came for Mur Mur Monday with a group of friends who go regularly. We had 12 people in our group so we got a VIP table with 3 bottles of Grey Goose. At $ 85/person you cannot beat it! its 4 people to a bottle so we had the perfect amount and that extremely cheap considering if you come to the club without getting VIP you are going to pay about $ 20 just to get in! We got there early around 10:15 and we got an awesome table right on the dance floor. By 11:30 the place was bumping! Surprisingly there was a lot of girls, the drinks we had were great and for the price how can you beat it! Our security guard watching the VIP area was awesome and didnt let anyone in that wasn’t VIP and even by the end of the night he wouldn’t let me in cause i was«too drunk». Props to him because i was haha. overall i had a great time though and bottle service is great here and its the only way to party

If you like da club then you will probably have a good time. I’m not into the club scene at all but sometimes you make exceptions. When you’re in AC and you’re sick of looking at old women gamble their retirement plans away in their motor wheelchairs, a little dancing will provide an alternative. As expected you’ll be surrounded by some terrible drunken people in line, girls whose toes hang out of their heels like shrimp cocktails, and a cover. I think it was $ 20 for guys and $ 10 for gals. Drinks aren’t ridiculously over-priced but they’re not cheap either. The music was good at the beginning. I think when the liquor started to wear off and my dogs started barking I realized what I was up against. Sloppy drunk girls screaming at their jump offs in the bathroom stall over the phone, girls crying in a corner, guys doing some crazy Jersey Shoresque type dances, and hit songs that I had never heard about. Oh snap. I’m getting old. The last straw was when a dude stepped on my toes and another one slammed his glass down on the floor for no apparent reason completely getting the left side of my body soaked. It’s a club. What do you expect? Good time overall until my beer goggles fell off.

I’m more of the bar-lounge-dayclub(pool party) type, but I made the exception to go to clubbing at Mur. Mur because it was girls’ weekend and we wanted to stay within our hotel.(Long story short: I love heels, but I don’t like to be standing in them for a long time) I guess we got lucky with the $ 10 cover charge for each of us vs. $ 20 even though we came after midnight, but there wasn’t anybody special DJing that night and there wasn’t a single person waiting in line to go in. We didn’t have an issue with ID checks — it was swift and we were good to go. There’s escalators that take you up/down to the club. The layout is pretty much a square, with a bar along one side. The dancefloor is situated in the center with tables and go-go dancers surrounding it. Drinks were decent(although the orange juice with my Stoli tasted questionably sour — as if it was expired or something) and priced at an average of $ 10 – 12. The music was flat out terrible. It was a mix of hip-hop, house, and 80s/90s. Excuse me Mr. DJ, but have you ever heard of a transition? On the other hand, the crowd was probably 75% guys… but the whole dancefloor was overcrowded. It was hard to dance through one song without getting bumped into. Lets face it, I was in Jersey, not LA, Vegas, or New York, where the 1:1 ratio is typically mandated.
