Shocking. They used to have one of the best buffets in Atlantic City– especially breakfast. Now they don’t even have that anymore. As for dinner, don’t expect much. It’s ok. Could be so much better.

Not sure where to begin, my mother and I ended up spending our night on the toilet after eating at this place. My family and I came here in June when we received a credit for some of the different restaurants at Resorts which came with our room package. Before paying to come in we asked if we could look at what they were serving first and the hostess allowed us to come in. After looking at the food and the desert bar everything looked pretty good so we decided to pay and come in. But after trying some of the food we quickly realized that looks are deceiving! The fried chicken tasted like it had been originally cooked weeks prior, everything was bland, and my mothers hard shell taco was soft. The next day after being sick all night my mother requested to speak with the manager about the place to let them know that the food is actually in edible and something should be done. They were pretty open to her suggestions and we got our money back. I really would not advise eating here!

The buffet is okay at best. There is definitely a lot in terms of selection, but the quality was pretty abysmal. The meat was pretty solid(but how much meat can you eat really?). The cake was dry. The Asian section was a joke. The seafood was fishy. In terms of the price, be sure to push for a discount or sound hesitant. We got the«frequent diner» discount after we were tempted to change our mind because of the price. ;)

This place has beautiful interior décor, beautiful food display, and very sweet workers. My boyfriend an I came to resorts to relax from the stress of NYC. There is a good variety of food here, from oysters to egg rolls. Maybe they upgraded recently? The shrimps are delectable.

Visited this place after a long tiring walk on the hot boardwalk. Go there about 1ish on a Saturday afternoon just before it started to get crowded. The $ 20 price for lunch was not bad given what you get. For lunch there was shrimp, pot roast, asian cuisine, fried chicken, salads and a well stocked dessert bar. The food, though wasn’t the best I’ve tasted, was very good. it surpassed the«buffet-food» quality of food that one would expect. Server was attentive. The food was constantly being restocked. A good time.

The Resorts Buffet is pretty good. They have a wide range of food options. Typical of most AC buffets. Some really good points were the beef, mashed potatoes, corn bread, and stuffing. The not so great thing here was the fried chicken which I was surprised at. How can you mess up fried chicken? It was dry and very salty but oh well. The shrimp are also unpeeled so you will have to peel and de-turd. Not worth my time. My fiancé had the crab legs and said they were really good. I didn’t have dessert but that looked pretty good too. I don’t think they serve alcohol. Our server was quick and very nice. No complaints. I might give this place another try next time I’m down here.

One word: NASTY!!! We received two free buffet tickets. Should have known if it’s being given out for free, it’s no good!!!

I think the buffet has changed since some of the older reviews. We stayed at the Resorts last weekend and tried the buffet since we could pay for it with comp $$. We had low expectations after reading the reviews, but were happily surprised. It’s not the biggest casino buffet, but what they have is good. The price is a few dollars less then the Showboat buffet, maybe because its smaller. I would have no problem going there again, especially if we are staying at the Resorts and its so convenient.

Just your typical casino buffet. My first suggestion is to not go in with high expectations and you’ll do just fine. A buffet is a double edged sword for me– I get to try a little of everything but then I feel like I need to get rolled out after my meal. The fare the night of my trip was pretty standard. They had salads, pizza, pasta, fried chicken, fish, pasta bar pull and peel shrimp, carving station, soup and the list goes on. My favorite of the evening was probably the carving station turkey– it was prepared with pesto and sun dried tomato. I was a little surprised that combo showed up there as I feel pesto isn’t typically a crowd pleaser. So my turkey ended up with a hair on it and since my hair was tied back that evening, was most likely not mine. Even with that being said, the next piece I tried was juicy, delicious and hair-free. The dessert station was not with the rest of the buffet and was in the middle of the dining room. I was a happy camper because I basically added the bananas foster sauce to everything I tried. Don’t judge… it’s a buffet! For a few minutes I thought the buffet was missing fruit– which I typically enjoy for dessert. I ended up finding a sad little fruit salad with the other salads in the main buffet area. The room itself actually had a nice ambiance. If you mentally rearranged the space, I really could have seen been it being used as a ballroom for a meeting or wedding. I wouldn’t recommend going there however I wouldn’t run kicking and screaming if I had to go especially if it was comped.

Hot food was pathetic airplane food is better !! Also The actual buffet line took forever people were complaining everywhere !! am not one to hate but damm this place should be on worst buffet list in Ac. If you want an out of this world buffet go straight to borgata hotel! You will not be disappointed! Best $ 40 you will spend in AC!

I don’t even know where to start so let’s go with appearance. You should never get in line for a buffet where, dinner time, there is only 2 other couples in line and most of the tables inside are empty. It should also be stated that the skeletal menu out front is a good indication of the stuff they have inside. Well, more or less. The menu items are actually very misleading. We were led to our table after paying $ 20 each(luckily, with our package it was comped) that was peeling white painted wood with matching chairs. The restaurant looks out over a parking lot and as we were seated at the window, we got to see how dirty it was, and how filthy the window sill was. We went up to the tiny buffet and the first thing we heard was: «Excuse me, can you microwave this?» Yep. Everything was cold. Everything. Two full sides of the buffet were taken up by spinach, salad, three types of dressing, and chickpeas/tomatoes/cucumbers. The middle section had carved turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, hamburbers, hotdogs in water(I kid you not), a condiment bar for the hotdogs and hamburgers, weird layered crust pizza, various plain pasta, tomato gravy, pesto, something called seafood fra diablo that was just muscles in red sauce, soup and a make your own pasta dish that looked more like stir fry. Pretty much it was any old buffet that old people spend $ 8.99 at to eat all day. The dessert bar was no different. The ice cream was melted and they had two sugar free desserts and a variety of cookies. The server(best part of the story) was very attentive at least even though the water tasted like dish soap and the coffee was cold. I really would have been horrified if we had to pay for this, honestly. Really, really horrified. I will never be going back.
