Didn’t eat here, but although it’s beautiful and has a water view, they only have a buffet option for breakfast which was $ 24 per person. It’s ridiculous when you can go to another spot in the hotel for a $ 5 breakfast.

We went for the all you can eat brunch buffet. It was ok. Not the best by any means, but also not bad at all. I would give it 3 stars if it were less expensive. When I left after a $ 50 check for an average breakfast I had a little regret. The food was fine for around half the price, but I would not be back here again at this price. There are much better options.

This place pretty much tells the story for why Revel is failing. The setup looks great but execution is HORRENDOUS. Waitress had asked me if I wanted coffee with it in her hand thought it was comp but I guess not. Then took at least 30 mins for food to come out… They forgot one of our entrée… The food sucked so bad… Everything was dry and bland. They forgot to put sauce on my Eggs Benedict… Was the chef sleeping? Then almost immediately the waitress gives us our check without us asking… How rude. And the bill came to about 100… lol. How the heck can you suck so bad? Get it together.

Well they don’t do the buffet on Tuesdays in July. I think that stinks. But, the omelettes off the menu were decent if overpriced a bit. Service for us was adequate. I was not unhappy with my breakfast experience. Everything was well made. All the same though, I am not going back there twice. I’d rather pay cheaper prices for breakfast at a local diner.

Solid option for a quick breakfast, especially if you’re trying to haul ass to a spa appointment(the struggle is real).

I only came here because Amada was closed. If you’re in revel, go to Amada. I got the pork roll egg cheese sandwich with a side of bacon. The bacon and pork roll were burnt. The service was pretty bad. I won’t be back here. My friends got the latin burrito and didn’t like it either. It was super cheesy so I guess if you’re into that then get it.

Today is our third time eating here. First time was before The Revel officially opened. The service then was very, very slow. Not much has changed since then. But the food and the price are reasonable. The view is very nice on bright sunny days. The staff has always been friendly.

My husband and I walked by this spot multiple times during the weekend we stayed at the Revel and finally decided to eat a late breakfast here after we checked out of our rooms. I agree with the reviewer who likened it to an airport restaurant. The place itself is nice, but the service and food left much to be desired. The bacon was super salty, the pancakes weren’t great, the corn beef hash was weird(my husband’s words), and it took forever to get waited on and even to get water/coffee/tea. There are so many other great places to eat in Revel, I wouldn’t suggest anyone come here. We only did because we had our luggage with us, but next time I’d be willing to take my luggage to a better spot.

Okay so I decided to give this place one more shot. I took 5 of my friends here for a few of their birthdays for breakfast. My thoughts behind this decision was that the food is actually good so maybe we just had a bad experience with the service the week before when we came here. So they sat us, a party of 6. It took a server a good 15 minutes before anyone even came over to us to take our drink/food orders. Meanwhile the place was pretty dead and the 2 bartenders behind the bar just kept looking at us. um hello but Im pretty sure a good team consists of other staff members helping out when others are behind. Someone else could have easily came over to at least take our drink orders since our server was busy with something else right. no not at this place where working as a team clearly doesnt mean anything for these people. After we finally got our server to take our drinks and orders we decided to just stick to the breakfast buffet since we were pretty sure it would take forever to get our food. Lets just say we were all laughing at this point as we are all in the food and beverage industry and were appalled at everything by this point. We each already went up to the buffet twice and were full by this point and our mimosas and bloody marys were STILL not where to be found. Instead we watched as the bar was empty, 2 bartenders on who were more interested in talking to other staff members rather than checking the ticket machine for drink orders. So by the end of our breakfast we had our drinks which was about 40 minutes later. ridiculous. Apparently our server told the bartender that he had orders to make but he still decided to prioritize his conversations with other employees over our drinks. So we asked to speak with the supervisor about our experience. Ani, came over to us and was asking us about what happened so we told her everything wrong about our experience. She just stood there looking at us all clueless. When we told her we would never come back here again she just looked at us and said why wouldn’t you come back I’m here. REALLYY??? What kind of response is this from a supervisor? My boyfriend asked her ok and what can you do for us? Blank stare. exactly the type of response I would expect to hear back from her. Don’t forget that it was 2 of the people who I was with birthdays. We would have easily been on our 3rd round of drinks by this time at a efficiently run establishment but not here. Ani the supervisor tells us ill get you guys a round of drinks but we declined stating that we weren’t ready to wait an other 40 minutes for our drinks to come out. The management of this place is by far the worst I have ever seen in all of my dinning experiences. Pretty embarrassing that this place is in such a great hotel as this makes Revel look bad. Never again.

This place is located in a beautiful resort hotel first of all. We were thinking that it would just be some overpriced place that we would settle with because we were so hungry! However everything was amazing. The breakfast hands down the best! The Bloody Mary even better! That was my favorite part. Even the jam and butter with rye toast amazing. I have no complaints. We sat at the bar and the bartender was nice. The chocolate cake was also. Really good. Would come back again!

Had a groupon deal here, so decided to go for breakfast before we left to go home. The staff was so rude. They couldnt be bothered to give us enough menus, they sat us and ran away leaving us with one menu. We pretty much found our own table. Then once we ordered it took about an hour to get a panini! It took about 15minutes to just get a glass of wine! I kept having to ask where my drink was or where my meal was. Not sure if this place is poorly managed or if they are just under staffed. But the service was definitely the downfall for this place. Once the food FINALLY came out, I was very pleased. Which is why I am giving it more than one star. It was a good portion for a panini sandwich. My boyfriend had the breakfast buffet which he enjoyed. The ambiance is also nice for a breakfast lunch restaurant. I just wish they could do something about the staff and service timing of their food.

We chose this place to have brunch since it was inside Revel and that was where we were staying. I had a waffle. It was OK and it stayed down so that’s a plus in my book.

we came here today for breakfast and had no real complaints. my hot cocoa was mostly foam on top like it was shaken or something? but after the foam it was delicious. maybe on weekends there is a long wait? I see a lot of complaining about the wait. we were in and out of here. our waiter was very nice. it wasn’t the best breakfast I ever had but the views made it well worth it. those whining about the prices go eat somewhere else then… it’s a nice looking place with gorgeous views. it’s not going to be 5 dollars. you want diner prices then go to a diner.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. I don’t remember ever encountering such horrible service and bad food. It took them forever to even bring the coffee out… how long does it honestly take to make coffee? And on top of that they would keep forgetting and we would have to keep reminding them that some people were still missing their coffees. The food — took at least an hour, if not more, to get our food, which tasted less than mediocre. For the amount of time it took to get us our food i expected something better than what i can make myself(and i’m not a cook by any stretch of the imagination). Food was just bad. At some point, my friend found a piece of plastic in her eggs. Instead of paying for her meal, they just brought her more eggs, which she didn’t want anyways. And had the manager or whoever that was paid attention, he wouldve heard all of us say she doesn’t want eggs we want other compensation. Overall, they deserve no stars. But not sure if Zero stars is an option. I never really have expectations for places, but considering it was a restaurant at revel, i expected it to be decent at least! In general, i expect food to at least be edible wherever i go. DON’T GOHERE!

Locatad at the casino level of Revel, it’s a nice restaurant that reminded me of an airport restaurants. I came here for brunch and saw a lot of people with luggages either waiting to check in to their room or checking out. Service was very slow when we came. The waitress was nice but looked frustrated, and the food took a long time to arrive. I had the french toast and it wasn’t bad. It just tasted very plain.

Came here for breakfast. We came late to avoid the morning rush and thankfully we ate our breakfast in peace. We were a large group of 10 people so we mostly ordered a few dishes and shared. Thankfully one of our friends had a large comp, otherwise, it wouldn’t have been worth it. I ordered the eggs benedict, and it was good. Portion was good, but I would hope so for $ 15+ dollars. I shared it with my girlfriend. Overall my meal was good. I wouldn’t go here without a comp however. Prices would be too high.

Instead of waiting almost an hour for room service to be delivered, we decided to go out and find a place to breakfast in Revel. The Sky Café is on the lobby level, the last thing you hit before the escalators and elevators down to the casino. It seems like most of the hotel had our same idea. The place was packed, it was a wait to get seated. We finally got seated and were happy with the spots we got. Right by the window and bar, no one sitting near us. The waiter came and took our order. We both got the Eggs Benedict, water, and coffee — plus we got a smoothie to split. The coffee came out and it was terrible. It was undrinkable. For an almost $ 3 cup of coffee, I was definitely expecting something better, tastier. My boyfriend powered through it out of sheer force of will, but mine went untouched. The water still hadn’t arrived. The smoothie arrived, and the water still hadn’t. We flagged our waiter down and he apologized for forgetting and went off. A few minutes later, after someone delivered our food, we saw him again — without our water. He threw his hands in the air like he had just remembered and went off to finally fetch our waters. The Eggs Benedict were terrible. The canadian bacon was rubbery and gross — the hollandaise sauce was tasteless. The only good thing about the meal was the potatoes — they were good. It wasn’t like it was Sunday brunch, either. This was a Monday morning. The service and quality of food keeps my review firmly at 1 star.

Good service at the bar and an awesome place to people watch the folks at the outside pool. I had a ham and cheese panini and my husband shared the bacon mac and cheese with our friend. The Bloody Marys were fantastic. They come with a bacon strip, enough said! Just a touch on the pricey side but a solid place.

I have stayed at The Revel multiple times and have often taken advantage of the wonderful breakfast buffet offered by the Sky Café(located on the lobby level within The Revel, 6th floor). I used to be enthused! It had been wonderful, and its hefty price($ 25 per person for breakfast incl taxes before tips) I have been defending to fellow Atlantic City travelers. Now — no more. Last week was my last trip to AC for a long while, and I still had some comp dollars on my Revel card that would expire before I’d return. So I wanted to use them up before I left. Went a last time to the Sky Café for their breakfast buffet and was shocked how they have changed since May(the last time I had eaten there). Revel is in a state of bankruptcy now, and they have to cut costs. And it shows. The fingerling potatoes that used to come with onions and peppers are now anonymous pre-seasoned potato wedges from unknown sources, a waiter told me they get them delivered already cut and seasoned and they only heat them up. Fast food?! Seriously, Revel? The omelette station is still there and will get you still wonderful omelettes the way you like them, they are made to order the way you tell them to. Their granola is still great, loaded with almond slices, and they still had blueberries and melons fresh in bowls(on Sept 13, which is out of season). There is also fresh pineapple, but I think those pieces are no longer fresh from the fruit, I am suspicious they are coming out of buckets or cans now. The difference is not big, but when you really pay attention, you can taste it. They still had great pastries, fresh as they always were, so it seems their source for the pastries is still the same. Bagels and breads and butter and jellies and whatever you’d like. But no sliced cheeses, as this is unknown in American buffets. This German would love REAL cheese(65%+) on a crispy roll with thick butter, but no, that is not available. Americans eat eggs and sausages and potatoes for breakfast. As a vegetarian I am of course unable to judge the former or current quality of their sausages or bacon. What I did like was the fact that you could take loose milk from a caraffe standing in ice, you didn’t need to open a sealed container of retail milk when you just wanted a bit for your Muesli or granola or flakes. You can get coffee or «tea»(in bags!) with your breakfast buffet purchase, you’ll get tap water in a glass with ice cubes and ONE juice of your choice. Yes, one. If you’d like more juice than just one glass, you will need to purchase that. Outrageous, considering you are already paying more than elsewhere for less selection! So I guess that was it for me. I have used up my last $ 7.35 from my Revel card and paid for the rest. It was not worth $ 25, and remember, in America you must pay extra for the waiter! They are expecting between 18 and 20%. But I only gave $ 2, I felt ripped off here. See my other reviews for better breakfast options in AC!
